Good place fr a hangout, especially for chaat lovers and vegetarians...The taste and quality of the foods are great...The ambience of the place is nice... Takes liitle bit late for dishes to come, once u order...Nd not so economic...
You will surely get some nice punjabi dishes freshly made from their kitchen. Customer service is excellent.
Ambience was fine.. We tried two veg curries the gravey served was both same. I think one was paneer tikka & other I am not able to recall sorry. Metti parataa was good and rasmalai was also good.
I went here after a recommendation from my cousins, but I didnt like it. I purchased Pav bahjis and a Malai kulfi, the Kulfi was nice but the Pav bhaji was really disappointing, the gravey tasted like a tomato chutney. They are charging Rs 100 for Lassi, that is way too much! I would name it Bengali rasoi because most of the employees were from that side. Its my opinion and may others view it can be different, even while writing this review cousin was saying that they used to be good.
Had a malai kofta from here. It was below average... Should try other restaurants in the city to find out where to get good and original malai kofta.
I was about to try their dishes but doesnt like the customer behaviour of the person who is sitting in the reception. I experienced that he is not much interested in hospitality and the price is also very high.
Nice service and super food. Definitely we have to try.
One of the few places in calicut to try different north indian dishes . It waiting time to deliver an order is a little long especially since lockdown but the quality of usually makes up for it. Pre-covid days they served special punjabi thali during Sundays , which is a must try.
No Dine In nowa days. Have a little parking in front. Need to stand and eat or just take inside your car.
Non friendly customer service. Keep waiting hours for food is hilarious thing.
One of the best north indian restaurant in town.I absolutely love the food here. The chaats and the lassi does justice .One of my favorite dishes are the mushroom dosa, sev puri and the lassi. The restaurant has a very cozy indian design interiors which we dont see much nowadays. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Check the bill from this place before you pay, the number of items were different from what I ordered and had to make them correct the bill. If I haven’t checked i would have lost around 150 bucks.Food was decent, but you have to keep asking for your order, a 1000 times before they serve you.Hygiëne - 3/5 .You wont see a wash area any worse than theirs.
One of the oldest punjabi food shope in Kozhikode city .. some time it take more time to for food to get not all time
North Indian foods have made my mouth water. The food here will be the best North Indian food available in my place but the atmosphere is the worst .the toilets are not clean and the overall place is like hell . The restaurant is not at all well maintained .if I had an option to rate this according to ambiance and cleanliness I would have rated it zero
I dont know if they are eligible for 4 stars .. as food tastes felt are jus ok ,nothing above that... Serving is good, but the time taken for serving is very much dragging ... I had only North Indian tali meals today but still I felt this way... The lassi is not up to the level expected.... These are the reasons I firstly said about me rating them 4 stars .. so sorry if anyone has any difference opinion.. and the cleanliness and the way the kept interiors are good. No much parking faculity...
This place is different since those who want to taste authentic north Indian or Punjabi style food can definetly go there and eat.Chat items are good and parathas also taste yummy. My fav is Aloo paratha and veg kadai curry. The hotel is situated very near to the beach opposite to St Joseph school and has got ample parking space.I will give 4/5 to this hotel and those who love north Indian food should give it a try.
The restaurant was cosy but a bit congested. Id ordered some garlic Naan with Amritsar paneer which was ok as I felt the naan was lacking(have had better garlic naans). The buttermilk didnt give usual chaas taste to it. The chief (head waiter) was taking the orders for the sake of doing it. Overall it was unimpressive and wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
Though my Punjabi friend said that these meals had nothing to do with Punjab, its at least something offbeat from your everyday meals. A different kind of satisfaction. Recommended for dull and moody Sundays.Unlike others, I found the service pleasing. Maybe it has something to do with the rush hours.
Dont fall into the name Schezwan Fried Rice Combo. Rice was good but the quantity was too less served with Gobi Manchoori which was not upto the mark. They served a sweet mashed potato dish with the combo which was really delicious. At last but not the least I also tried Gulab Jamun which was delicious and really soft. When it comes to service, it wasnt that good. Took more than 20 mins to get the order even when it was not at all crowded.
It is a hundred percentage vegetarian restaurant.Varieties of north indian as well as south indian foods are delivered over here.mainly north indian cuisine is more special.Cleanliness is good.Nice customer service. No delay for serving food after taken the order. This feature is more accepted here.No crowd.,and waiting.especially it is good for this covid time.this place is with lot of peace and calmness.it can be recommended.
Good and tasty food. Quite prompt service. Ambience is alright.
A really good Hangout place..
We get many food options to choose from with authentic taste. But the ambience needs an upgrade, seems very depressing. Also staff is little unfriendly.
Pleasent experience. Subtle ambience. Good food. Slight on the expensive side. Overall a good place to visit with family and enjoy some Pujabi food.
We went for lunch at around 12PM on a weekday, the restaurant was mostly deserted. The taka tak paneer was excellent, tandoor Roti could have been better. The pricing is on average. The service was good too. Overall, if you are in Kozhikode and badly crave for some North Indian cuisine, head staright to Silk street and indulge in Punjab Di Rasoi.
Authentic north indian food.
Best North Indian and veg spot in Calicut
As a central Indian who is living in South india, this place is amazing to dine out in peace with tasteful dishes...Grab a bite guys
It was good and authentic punjabi masala taste...but it was a bit costly and the pickle and other miscellaneous things are some sort of salty... although it was good in my opinion
Delicious food . About 300 for 2 pax . A good place for vegitarians and North Indians. Exactly same flavour compared to other North Indian resturants in Calicut
Really loved the ambience and food. Trained and supportive staff. Keep it up
I had called this restaurant at 12 pm today to check on availablity of pav bhaji and since received a green signal, I personally drove almost 8 kms to the restaurant. On placing order I was informed that there is no pav hence pav bhaji wasnt available. I pressed on the point that I had specifically called and checked and at that point of time it was not informed . To this there was no answer. I had to travel to and fro almost 16 kms and 45 mnts. Hotels shud be known for their hospitality n taste of cusine. My first visit to this restaurant gave me a sad experience
Must visit place...superb north Indian quisine.. absolutely finger licking ❤️
Poor food. Taste is very bad and vegetable seems to be stale.
Its just a Punjabi dhaba. Nothing special. Normal FOOD. We all had problems with our stomachs for a minimum of two days and it was feeling like full tummy for two days. That might be due to the baking soda or soda powder added more in Nan, aloo paratta and may be in pani puri wala puri. Not a kind that we will recommend from our experience. Staffs and Service is excellent. No parking space.
Good ambience and delicious foods
Very worst service and food not served hot.. it was 1.30pm.. I ordered a North Indian Special Thali.. but all items were cold.. they given 2 sabji in very small bowl, in paneer sabji there were only 2 small pieces of paneer, 2 cold roti with no butter.. 2 small gulab jamun.. & 1 very small bowl of masala rice which can be eat in only 2 bites.. & they charge Rs.150 for the Thali.. i was very dissatisfied with hotel.. I dont recommend anyone to this cheap 3rd class Hotel..
I ordered Rajmah Rice, Rajmah were under cooked. Cost me around 250 rupees not value for money
Chats are very yummy ...Place for Panjabi food lovers ...try lassi here ..
We visited this place after longtime cos of Covid-19.The food tastes great and the service was up to the mark. The price was little bit higher on the side but worth for the food. The only problem is that you may not get good parking space. The place is near the beach and traffic is heavy and getting a parking space is a question mark.Other than this,It is a good North Indian veg joint.Keep up the good work.
An excellent north indian veg fine dining place ..Tasty food and choices . The service and ambience were excellent ..!!! A nice choice for foodies craving vegetarian at Calicut !!
Lassi is awesome
Tasty food (but not chat items)Very high cost and less quantity 😢For chat items well suggest Sri Balaji pure veg restaurant Gujarati street.
Nice foods and good ambience.. Amazing experience
Probably the best place in Calicut for North Indian food. Theres a great sense of authenticity and consistent taste.
Punjab only for name. Not genuine punjabi cuisine. Taste is ok but very costly
Tasty food ,good ambience, efficient home services too. The food is a little costy but the quality is amazing. Service is also good. Its near the beach so talking a walk through the beach after dinner makes the night complete. I would recommend you to try malai kofta there. Enjoy.
Nice experience. No delay in serving the orders
Good taste and reasonable rate
Very expensive ,cant effort for average people
A good place for pani puri, vada paav etc.
Served water upon receiving the bill.Worst service. Demanded cash payment despite having card POS and UPI payment facilities. For anyone planning to dine there, please carry lots of cash. Or else youre in for a bad time.
Very authentic North Indian flavours. Could improve a tad bit more but I am really satisfied. We got aloo parantha and paneer biryani with paneer butter masala
Best vegetarian food in Calicut. Authentic food. Parking space is limited
Very nice place for North Indian food.
Nice restaurant to have jain food in calicut.
Food quality is good.. but rate s bit high
One of the best vegetarian restaurant in kozhikoke. North Indian vegetarian food is here speciality. In morning we can get normal idely dosha items, here special is north indian thali. Its very special and teasty. If you think any evening make special with a vegetarian menu, no doubt you can choose here.!
The special north Indian thali is v.good
Nice food, pure veg,
A little costly for the quality and quantity of food they serve
