The best place to do courses. I am glad to in my decision to do my ASM and SMS classes from here. Teaching faculties are extremely good. Study materials are well planned. They provide undoubtedly very good lunch services. Location is good. Well connected. The infrastructure is very good. The simulator classes was a wonderful experience here. I would come back here for all my courses in future. The fees are also very nominal. Lady seafarers, I bet you this would be the best place for you to do courses. But I must mention again, the faculties and the supporting staff make it the best institute to come again and again for courses.

If you are a marinier and looking for prepatory course or stcw courses or tasco or any other marine related course this institute is best place to learn... previously also known as IIPM near ITC factory gardenreach it is now called FOSMA and us located at college more in sector 5 salt lake...

Good experience, only problem with private vehicle parking, if that issue could be sorted then every facilities are excellent.

Best Maritime Training Institute in Kolkata for advance courses and the classrooms are very neat and hygienic and at present while I was there all COVID precautions are strictly been taken over there.

This is arguably the best place in terms of infrastructure to do your pre/post sea courses. Though it is far away from Howrah/Sealdah or any metro station, I always come here to renew my certificates. The place is well connected my bus and taxi service. Its airy, clean, well maintained and the food is good. The simulators are state of the art and the best in Kolkata. And guess what, there are plenty of places nearby to hangout after you are done for the day, parks bars eatery and massage parlous, what a perfect place for seafarers.

Best institute for marine studies. They are also coming up with simulator courses. Faculties are supportive and are well updated with the latest information in the field. The classrooms are big, well lit, clean and fitted with projectors.

This is one of the oldest bodies providing maritime education and conducting modular courses in Kolkata. Previously it was known as IIPM and was situated in Khidderpore but now they have shifted to Salt Lake near Godrej waterfront area. The instute has well decorated and furnished interiors alongwith a cafeteria and well-maintained washrooms. All of the marine engineering and nautical courses especially modular are conducted here by an experienced team of faculty members who dedicate and impart the best of their knowledge. It is definitely a pleasure to be a part and also be associated with the institute.

I have done my 2nd mate function in FOSMA KOLKATA. It is the best institute in Kolkata. Faculties are supportive and they keep on pushing us to study hard. Its only because of them, I got highest marks in Kolkata mmd written exam.Even after passing out from the college they are making us prepare for orals, and supporting us in all possible ways.
