Aliah University is one of the newest Universities in Kolkata / West Bengal. It started its operations from 2008-09 academic sessions. It has mutiple disciplines staring from engineering to science to arts to nursing as well as management streams. The faculty here are highly educated and vastly experienced. Located in Action Area 1 of New Town, Rajarhat, it is easily accessible from all parts of Kolkata.

Its mah university.. and inspite of me this is cool university and all type of facilities are avail in this.. so long story short its my honour to get an admission in it.. and its a government based university so its needed your results not killer looks👍👍☺️

The university that provides many types of engineering to nursing to science to arts and also management streams is located in NEWTOWN ACTION Area II.The faculty here are highly educated .The university that excite you and attracted to get into it , I know u guys are laughing and you r not from one of them that who love to go to the college but believe me this is out of the syllabus. You will love this university. Its less of all the facility like gym, swimming pool,beautiful canteen, digital library,beautiful garden etc.

Lovely place.. Eco friendly environment...All staff are helpful. Well managed environment.But main thing is this is very far from the main city area. So you have to book a cab for this place. If u know bus route then OK with that. U can easily go for that.Or simply just Google it.Thanks.

When it was first started the total campus was neat and clean. But I felt pain when I saw that after only six seven years the campus is becoming a total mesh. Building tiles are falling down most of the he glass windows are brocken down. And, campus ground is becoming a bush with unwanted weeds. No more good management.

Please keep someone to respond the phone call people from far cannot come university.And about the hostel facilityWhen i tried to call I get a message that the no doesnt existPlease keep valid no.

I did not have too much time to come from here. I like the Universitys external structure. As it is so beautiful from outside, hopefully it will be very good to study.

If you want to go to this university then your should catch S40 or k1 bus from ultodanga bidhannagar.Its in odd position you may book auto rickshaw but they will charge nearly 50 rs per head where as in bus you will need to pay 10 only.Facilities are top class in the University.

It even provides many of engineering courses with online job campus facility. The teachers and stuffs are very good. The university also has scenic beauty with the greenery around it. Overall, in the great Biswa Bangla Project, the Aliah University Newtown Campus is going to be a significant contribution.

It was set up in October 1780 by Warren Hastings, the British Governor general of East India Company near Sealdahin Calcutta. A number of titles were used for it, such as Islamic College of Calcutta, Calcutta Madrasah, Calcutta Mohammedan College and Madrasah-e-Aliah. Aliah University is the mordern university. Its give great opportunity to higher study . Aliah university is the minority status university. I personally stayed here seven months to prepared my self. Universitys building is very high quality accommodation is is very good.Location of Aliah university is mordern area of WB in Newtown.It have two hostels 1 for girls 1 for boys. Hostel accommodation is much better than any other hostel in West Bengal.

This is a state university primarily meant for minority students and young compared to other state universities like Jadavpur University, University of Calcutta for example. Its located in Newtown, out of the hustle of main Kolkata. The buildings are well planned in my opinion. This university will take time to make a mark amongst the academicians I guess.
