Earlier it was accessible to the kids of neighborhood. Thus social responsibility of a institution towards its neighbourhood was thus fulfilled.Now its vet student only ground.The event that led to closure of accessibility for neighbourhood kids was an unfortunate incident of distant past.Hoping that authorities would reconsider full of partial opening of the ground for neighbourhood kids and help them with their physical development. Who knows some them by visiting vet ground may be inspired to become a vet doctor or research worker themselves and contribute in enrichment of vet medecine and fishery sciences.

Nice place

A national level dog show organizes every year in this ground.

Awesome ground to play cricket. Size is a lil bit small but the environment is mesmerising. I just loved it.

Its a big playing ground within the campus of West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences. Inside the Veterinary college campus, its just adjacent to Dog Ward. The university students, staffs used to play here on a regular basis. The ground soil is excellent and maintained properly by the University authority. Nearby college and other academic Institutions (like R G Kar Medical College etc) also used to hire this ground to make their big events. Its a perfect area for morning exercise and jogging. Adjacent to this ground there is sitting arrangements and have lanes for jogging around an another small ground.

Good place. Open air in between the posh area. Big ground with trees at the sides. Siting place also available beside the grounds.

The groud is full of long grasses and is not well maintained..here and there is animal stool and cowdung..the authority should clean it and make it more appropriate for using

Very serene place.. Ground is big. Many tournaments are organised here. You have to book the field in order to organise tournament. Moreover emergency outdoor for dogs is present. Canteen is present.. Warer facility present.
