Books sold on MRP, without proper bill and cash payment only. Bad experience

Excellent.The owner Mr. Basu is very nice and helpful.

Have to wait in long queue because the staff does not seem to be bothered about their customers.

Helpful staff but it still looks and operates like an 19th century old book shop. The first thing that shocked me was that it is a Cash only store☹️. Second, the discounts on notebooks and reading books are very low. Infact some books are fairly high priced compared to what you get at College Street.

A decent bookstore for books related to school prescribed primary and secondary school prescribed books and ICSE, CBSE and ISC books.

Cannot supply the even the recommended school textbooks at the beginning of the session. Do not accept card. Except two of the staff rest of them give you a why are you here kind of stare. But the school recommends this shop... so ..

Behavior not good

The staff are helpful only when there is no rush.But during the start of an academic session there is huge rush so its advisable if you try and visit some other place some where less crowdy. Moreover the stock that they have is very limited to the need of the schools that they generally cater to.So its advisable if to visit some other place if you are searching for books for higher education subject.

A rather nice book store that supplies books for St. James School Kolkata. The pricing is fair and service is rather quick.
