It is a great college located in phoolbagan .I studied from here .Ambience is very Good and nice , There is a library building near this college, from where one can borrow books . The teaching staff is best in this college..you need no personal tutor for your study , but they are very much strict .moreover this is a best college for b.sc and m.sc degree courses.

Ofc its a college.There are many nearby restaurants and confectioneries.Is in close proximity to Phoolbagan metro station (East-West)

The beginning was modest, or even challenging. The college did not have a building of its own; the University of Calcutta, to which the college is affiliated, permitted the teaching of Intermediate (Arts and Science) and B.A. and B.Sc. at the pass level; the admission season had already started; not very far were few long-established colleges; much of the immediate hinterland was inhabited by people at the lower rungs of the economy; and the idea of a co-education institution had still not many supporters in the existing social milieu.

It is a very good college. .. All departments r good.. but special you sociology department is a great department... Im personally recommend this college for a bright future. ...

Its my college...well maintained,infrastructure is okay,discipline is okay,non-teaching staff is not very helpful,but the biggest plus point of this college is its union pressure. Unlike some other prestigious colleges,the union pressure here is non existent!
