Run by a trust this is nearly 150 bedded hospital run very efficiently. All the covid related protocol is followed very stringently. The staff is very cordial and compassionate. They are doing a yomen service to the mankind.

Good doctors and nurses for treatment. Horrible staff. They call the patient as psycho. They have introduced charging 50 rupees extra for covid maintenance. And they have also made one free report visit within a week of consultation but no free consultation within the same time line. Now I have tested some exam from outside since they have said that they will also do it from outside and they will charge extra for that. But unfortunately, because of certain festive reason the report couldnt come within the estimated time. I had done a booking of report visit for 50 rupees earlier since I didnt want to meet the hassle. But since I couldnt make it on the day of report visit because of non arrival of the report, I asked the staff to adjust the fee of 50 rupees with the next free visit. But they denied the same and didnt listen.Onething to add in it, when I asked about certain billing reason, I was even commented as PSYCHO by one of the staffs.Well on the good not, doctors in the hospital are good in terms of treatment and behavior.

The behaviour of the nurses with the patient and patient party is worst. My mother had a fractured foot and she is a diabetic ,thyroid with high pressure . The nurses did not cooperate with us . The hospital staff ar irresponsible the dont take care of the patient records and kept my mother to wait for four hours. I request the hospital managment to improve their orthopaedic department nurses and staffs other wise it causes harassment to the patients

Pathetic hospital and rude workers. They dont have the basic human decency and does not know how to talk to patients and family members.BE CAREFUL: they have many hidden charges and you can google EEDF COMPLAINTS to know how they have scammed patients. I wish I did some research before thinking of taking my health concerns to them.I was scammed to pay double, and the doc took few seconds to write me a prescription for gas. I will need to visit another doctor soon.

Extremely unprofessional and bad behaviour by the staff. They behave as if they are doing a favour by answering if you ask them any questions. The front office staff and the billing staff needs training on customer handling. I have visited 2 times in the last 1 year and everytime the experience was horrible. There is always a wait time in excess of 30 mins and according to the staff its normal. Also they dont accept any diagnostic tests booking over the phone. They ask for the physical copy of the prescription along with a photocopy and then they confirm the appointment that too with advance bill payment which is really primitive. Best avoid this place unless its an absolute emergency.

Visited on 17th September, 2021. My wife booked appointment online, and due to stress and trying to hurry up she accidentally filled in the patient details with her details.. the online registration form was not clear enough.Now when we visited the hospital, they refused to take the booking and asked us to book again and offered no refund. It was 600 rupees wasted, and after asking the logic behind such policies the workers there, mainly Bula Dasgupta from main reception started to insult us.She was very rude, most workers there are extremely rude and uninterested to offer any sorts of help. I was forced to pay again, and after waiting for almost 1 hour extra, the doc (Dr Anirban Chatterjee) took less than a minute to diagnose me, I am having severe pain and he did not even perform the basic testing before prescribing me medicine. This is hilarious. I think most local pharmacy will be a better option than to visit this joke of an institution.Not recommended if you it is a serious health concern.

Management is good. You can find all kind of doctors here. The interior is neat and clean. A little expensive. You have to do all the tests(which costs more than the rest of the market) there for the free follow up, otherwise you have to pay the visiting fees again.

So, I was facing irregular period issues. I visited Dr. Sushmita Das, the worst experience ever. She prescribed me for pregnancy test although there were no chances of that particular thing but she was continuously suggesting me for pregnancy test and asked me to come after 3 week, which would cost me another visiting fee. Then, I asked her to suggest something else.. as I was sure that theres no chance of pregnancy. After requesting several times she asked me to check thyroid. After 3 days, I visited with thyroid report which was normal. She prescribed me that same steroid tablets which I previously took two times with consulting another doctor. I told her the same story, that without this steroid my period is not coming and this is not normal. After all these she told me that, she is more educated and afterall she is the doctor and she warned me to not teach her anything. I simply left that place, I went to another doctor.. and as i suspected.. that doctor told me that those steroid tablets are no good and after diagnosed, the doctor also told me that this irregularity of period is happening because I have overian cyst. So, thanks to that great Dr. Sushmita Das.. I went to another doctor and now I know the actual reason. I will never ever visit this place again. Thank you soo much.

My friend went there for a checkup. The assigned doctor, Dr. Ram Kumar Singh, was extremely rude, chaotic and unprofessional. He didnt even consider to listen the problems carefully. He just came to the conclusion on his own. As a doctor he his no minimal level of commonsense, patience, experience and professionalism. He was talking very harshly without giving minimal respect to the patient. He doesnt even know how to talk to someone.P.s- Im giving the review after all the reports came normal.

Dr Dhrubojyoti Mukherjee ENT Surgeon is such a wonderful person and with such a beautiful behaviour that it is not expressible in a sentence. He is Godlike. He has saved my life. Every question I asked, even if that was at times repetitive, was answered to the point and with fullest attention . In my opinion and experience Dr Dhrubojyoti Mukherjee is one of the best ENT Surgeon for Any Ear,Nose ,throat problems with any level of complexity.

The staff of the doctors is good.the doctors i have chosen for checkup were good.i just have a complain about the room no 11 ground floor orthopedics.the persons over there are just rediculous.they sell things at a massive price and these call themselves a part of seva kendra.will go to the consumer forum for sure.a pair of silicon gel heels cost less than 150 all over internet and also on the offline stores and these people try to sell them at a massive price of 800(even more than the MRP of the item).In another incedent,they gave a shoe to wear for the people having plaster.they demanded 750 rupees for that one shoe.not even a pair.the online and offline price of it is 350 barely.what kind of seva kendra is this???when we tried to refuse to take from them making an excuse they shouted over us.they take away all the packaging from the item so that the patient doesnt sees the MRP.Every single thing needs bill in this hospital.thats good.patient can get a total amount spent for the treatment.but these people on the room 11,they dont give any bills,dont accept card payments,nothing.they just need raw cash.and this is only because they are charging much more times than the MRP.this behaviour should not be tolerated at all if they r here to serve the people.thats kind of black marketing medical goods to the people forcefully.

Bad services. They are taking extra 50 rupees for covid screening but when I reached their They just asked if I had fever or not and allowed for old. And most shocking was the doctor Ram Kumar Singh. He is so rude and unprofessional. Dont even listen the problems properly. When I asked about the medicine routine he was harshly replied that he told once. He is such a hypocrite doctor. Never go to doctor Ram Kumar Singh and this health center.

Shocking experience, I went for treating my mother for a nominal issue. Dr Kamath said he is only interested in surgeries. He rudely adviced me to visit local physician but did not return my money. Wastage of time and money, beware of the policies.

They are most reluctant to administer covid 19 vaccine. They are not even goving a proper certificate. I took first dose on 1st March. They are yet to update data on Cowin.There is no coordination. Each counter says different things. Yestetday I went to schedule my second dose. The security guards are all in all. Vaccine department just dont know how to guide. They want people to go there at 12 mid night and book for vaccination. They have not called,sms d any information for scheduing second dose.Do not go for vaccination here.If this is the situation for a simple vaccination, imagine what is happening to critical patients. Remember it is not a charitable organisation. Yet the attitude is such that they are doing a favour by treating people.Horrible institution. They dont even talk properly on phone. They just disconnect the calls.

Recently went for an MRI scan at the EEDF MRI Centre, 501/1 Jodhpur Park, Kolkata - 68 and experienced WORST attitude of the security. After repeatedly asking the security at the EEDF MRI Centre TO WEAR MASK, he was arrogant and deterrent to listen to a polite request. His words, I DO NOT WEAR MASK AND I DO NOT NEED!!. His attitude was he has permission not to wear mask.During this pandemic, could we not expect the security personnel at EEDF MRI Centre to be more cooperative with the well-being of our society?The weird thing is the administration and security of the EEDF main building are 100 times better than the EEDF MRI Centre, located within 100 metres.Kindly requesting the EEDF admin to take an internal investigation and train the security at the MRI Centre to cooperate with the ongoing pandemic and its implications and not to go against the guidelines of ICMR, Govt of India or Govt of West Bengal.Incident date: 14 Dec 2020, Shift: Morning between 10-12 noonWe have complete faith on your admin that you would surely train your securities of MRI Centre for a better and trustworthy future.

This nursing home was a gem long time back in South Kolkata. But unfortunately, due to the competition, they have become drastically worse and discreditable.The nursing staffs (room attendants) are satisfactory; but the head nurse, floor in-charges and especially the resident doctors have become a nightmare. All charges, including pathological tests are much (much) more than the market rate. The hospitalization bills are strategically inflated more than your assumption to rip off the patient parties. Our recent experience was simply shocking and disgusting.Once we were proud of this neighborhood establishment. Sadly, would not recommend this place to anyone.

The hospital has all sorts of facilties available, no big deal. Every hospital should. The behaviour is really good.The only problem is they do not accept most kinds of health insurance.Also the medical and non-medical staff do not seem to understand how communicable diseases are transmitted.

Patients with all normal symptoms has taken for forced c-section for baby delivery. After 5 days they stopped discharging and after some ruckus and vehemently opposition they stated the discharging process.

We book for operation cost 80k, before that we have to test covid-19 and here is the problem. They will not gonna say you or provide any paperwork of the report, they just said your report is doubtful and keep telling you that, really? We have a patient who suffering from 21days for the operation. And they dont care about this.. every time they just call us and say your report is doubtful its not positive or negative. How many time we have to go for the test? Do you ever imagine the mental health of the patient

I called to check regarding vaccination procedures, but the person who received the call was ignorant and did not have any clue on the procedures. Moreover he was rude and either did not want patients in their hospital or was going through a rough day. Please appoint friendly receptionists.

Attitude of the staff feels like a government hospital, no clarity and full of nonsense. I understand they deal with a lot of people but that does not give them the license to behave or talk rudely. I think that is the difference between world class and mediocre place. Save your money and time and go to another alternative if available. Nurses and Front Desk lady used profanity for me. The ladys name is Banani and she used profanity on me. I complained to the Senior Manager who was on duty but he completely said that I need to email the complaint to the Management. Miss Banani didnt even apologise for the profanity. This being number one, the lab reports(pathology) all came wrong so I will never recommend. Please train your front desk workers to be kind and cooperate with patients.

Dentist Mrinalini Sadhya was worst..she prescribed tooth painkiller injection to my mother caused vomiting and senseless ness..She doesnt know what injection to prescribe but shouts and tells everyone she yas 10 years of experience which is hard to believe and house MD ensures that.. Emergency Dr. Was under Guunja effect / drunken kind of though he was in enough sense to prescribe Zofer tablets for safety before discharge..overall staffs including doctors are rude, frustrated and only crave for money..may be they have to achieve a monetary target.. overall experience not good at all..

However had a pathetic experience today with a doctor at OPD there. Narrating my experience below:Had the misfortune of interacting with this Dr Sabyasachi Bardhan today at EEDF! He is a doc I would recommend everyone to avoid... and this I plan to put up in other social media too.I paid the requisite fees at EEDF and booked an appo with him. Since he was the only one available, I had no choice of consulting any other ortho. It was for my mother, who is 80+ and had a femur bone problem recently (it seems to be a minor fracture!), X-Rays were done and other advice had been taken from our family physician. I went to EEDF to consult an ortho with the X ray and all other relevant reports.In the interaction, he did not even bother to spend 2 mins with me. He did not listen to me or try to understand why I was consulting him. Attitude...! Didnt want to see the X ray or Physicians prescriptions etc... Only advice: Bhorti kore din hashpatale, tarpor amra dekhbo and Haad bhengechhe, sheta jora lagate hobe!Anyway, its better not to write more about him.Thankfully, I got to consult a sensible ortho later today and am feeling relieved after taking his advise.A strong reco to all: Pls avoid Dr Sabyasachi Bardhan in any ortho related problems or consultations... or rather in any interactionsNB: I have given a score of 1/5 in this google feedback as there was no scope of giving a negative score!

Good doctors are available in every week. Services are very good compared to the price they charge. Emergency is also available. Maximum no of tests for all kind is also available in a reasonable price. Twenty four hours medicine facility available. Insurance facility is also available.

Doctors are good, however their administration is way too poor. When asked for my doctors number which I lost accidentally they simply replied saying this is not in their discipline. Discipline?? Really?? Do you even follow that?? Have not seen such inhumane staff even after repeated request saying my 4 month baby is having problem and need to consult my doctor urgently.

Its a decent enough medical facility for common illnesses. Ive never had a reason to complain except for the fact that the doctors here almost never arrive on time. Since Ive had multiple experiences where Ive had to wait for 1-2 hours, now I prefer to go in 30-40 mins later than my scheduled appointment time -- saves me some time and frustration!

Most of the retired doctors are on the OPD. The OPD ticket cost is economical as private sector but doctors insist for operation. I visited their dental opd and suggested for operation for non critical tooth extraction that isnt economical at all. If this review is found ok then please like and share it.

A very bad experience was felt.They give you appointment at 6pm but the doctor arrives as they like.. 7 or 8 PM..and the receptionist wont supposed to share why the doctors are late or how long we need to wait.So if you have enough time to waste you can enjoy keep waiting at EEDF.

Previously It was more better but now a days its become more and more expensive for middle class family. I think all this happened due to their changes in management level, they totally forgot about seva, they concentrating more on profit which must decrease their popularity thats for sure. Faced an extremely rude doctor, Dr. Samir Kr. Mukherjee. He didnt even listen to my problems properly and gave me exercises that worsened my condition. On pointing that out politely he started shouting. Became extremely rude, started pointing his finger and shouted. He even insulted me. While I am not a doctor, I am pretty sure that is not the way a person should behave with a patient. Honestly, even if it is an emergency, I wouldnt visit this doctor ever again.

Rates are reasonable but this is a 19th century hospital. So if you are a modern person and time matters to you avoid by all means. No online booking or online report for tests. Stone age.
