Blossom is one of the best chinese restaurent in kolkata. Here, you get tasty food in reasonable price. The quantity of the food is too good.You get a good ambience in this restaurent where you can enjoy with your friends and family.If you prefer chinese then u would always recommend blossom. Its one of my favourite restaurent.

Renowned place. American chopsuey is nice. Didnt like the rolls that much because they stuff only onions along with egg/chicken. The place is located in hedua more opposite hedua park.

It’s been almost 5 years since my wife and I last had food here.. We were shocked to see the degradation. The interiors of the restaurant has aged without maintenance and the showpieces, decorative pieces etc are just gone...! The number of waiters have degraded as well.. previously each waiter was assigned for a particular table.. now everyone is attending every table.. we were super hungry and ordered chicken pakora, kashmiri pulao with mutton rogan josh & chicken butter masala as suggested by the waiter.. well the pictures speak for themselves.. yet to elaborate.. chicken pakoras were huge .. unnecessarily huge with solid chicken inside and hefty batter of besan coating.. chicken was chewy.. it took them about 45 minutes to prepare these.. we ordered all the items together but still it took them almost another 45 minutes to bring the main course.. the chicken butter masala was pathetic... solid chewy boneless chicken pieces that are tossed in gravy.. the inside have never experienced the masala or marination.. the mutton rogan josh somehow tasted okay but yes of course super oily. Pulao didn’t taste good to me at all.. we hardly had anything... The prices have been raised up to match the market rate but quality is simply below standard... A disgusting experience overall and an utter waste of time.. Shall never be back here again...

Okayish place. We ordered chicken chowmein with red hot garlic chicken. The chowmein was good but garlic chicken was red ,not hot. It literally tasted bland. It wasnt crowded either.

Taste is Okay-Okay. But Quantity is really good. Ambiance is not so great.

One of the best pocket friendly restaurants in Kolkata! My all time favourite. Though they have increased the price quite a bit in last few years, the quantity is very good. The ambiance is awesome and the staffs are courteous. The last but not the list, they make some really great Chinese and Indian cuisine and those taste marvellous!

I was introduced to this place back in my college days, and I must say, I still like this place. Located in Hedua, near Scottish Church college, this restaurant is every college-goers visit worthy. I have been to this place at least 4-5 times till date, and they havent disappointed me ever. The food is cool, and the prices are quite decent as well. But the thing that attracts me most is the quantity of the food. There are few Chinese dishes that serves up to 12pieces, yes right, 12 pieces. Thats really a lot.So, if you are planning on going to College Street, and wondering where to have your lunch, you can easily drop by at this place, and have some fulfilling food without spending much.

Blossom doubles as a restaurant and a takeaway roll counter.The restaurant is slightly iffy. It has good days and bad days. You can expect somewhat of a a decent meal though if you keep your expectations low. But it has gotten slightly expensive over the last few years, the quality should have ideally improved at par with it.The roll counter though is actually pretty nice. Good rolls, varieties available, and they carefully make each roll with individual care. Slight cons, high waiting time, and sometimes the tend to overuse the oil a bit. But on most days, good flaky soft porota you get.Blossom, visit for the rolls. The restaurant you can ignore.

Blossoms used to be a well known restaurant. It still is but the quality of the food is questionable at times.A dinner treat, a while back, ended with coke diluted with water. It took us by surprise and frankly, we were disappointed. This was unexpected. The quantity of the food has also reduced.For those people, wondering whether to visit the restaurant or not, do go but dont expect too much out of it. Even so, you may actually enjoy your visit.

I know of this popular Hedua restaurant for many years but have never happened to dine here. So I chose this to treat a few new friends last evening.The interior is modest but presentable with all sofa seating. Service staff is attired. I went for Chinese as this place is known for this cuisine. I ordered Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Chowmein and Schezwan Chicken on the side. The portion size of the rice and noodles was good but the taste was average, so they didnt justify the prices. The side dish had twelve not-so-large pieces of chicken. The meat was chewy and the gravy a bit too hot though I had specified otherwise.We rounded it off with ice cream. They had only one flavour- vanilla. So I asked to bring it with chocolate sauce poured over. They put some nuts too. It tasted good but a price of Rs 130 was quite a premium.I wont be keen to come back.

Tasty Tandoori n Chinese foods are available in here. Having seating arrangement in Grd n 1st floor but entry restricted with Bermuda. Parcels are also available. Comfortable with family. Located just opposite of Hedua swimming pool n Bethune college. Pest control is required - you may find cockroaches at the table. Quality of parcels in rush is not up to the mark.

Although we used to visit this restaurant for years together but recently we faced a very bad experience. We along with ladies among our family visited in an evening and ordered for egg chowming and we have been served the same from their refrigerator with currently prepared fried eggs. While noticed to them they were simply rejected.

Blossom hedua is a common and famous place for college students and young generations due to their cheap and good quality food. I am a regular visitor of this place and I would say that it serves the best north Indian and Chinese food in this region ( rajabazar - hedua ). The quality and quantity is moderate and more than enough for two hungry soul. Ambiance is good ,waiters are well trained but need more efficient to handle a huge number of crowd during peak hours.

He also sells mixed Seeds on demand of customers. You can ask anyone in hatibagan area or in Kolkata about manoj Gupta.... HE IS VERY FAMOUS

I had been dining in blossom since 2001. The restaurant had gone a change in all respect in the last decade. Prices shot up. Food quality fell. Even the quality of fried rice had also fallen which was the signature dish of blossoms. The old steward Shantanu da is still there and still homely as old days.Many items are no more available like chello kebab and chilli chicken with crispy corn.
