Very bad connectivity. Most bus drivers dont even know that there is a university by this name. College infrastructure is also poor

This place in short is known as UEM. This is located at Newtown area. If you are coming from kolkata then after crossing biswa bangla gate you have to go straight and you have to cross techno india then go right side and then straight and right side of road near karigori bhawan you will find the location . This college organise various competitive exams. Interior arrengement of this college is not good.

Teachers are too good. Helpful , But bathroom condition is not good. Corona regulation followed by the UEM

Center for Competitive Exams. Systems are not properly arranged & you will find yourself around a bunch of wires. Your system may shutdown suddenly when another competitor sitting in front of you might knowingly or unknowingly hit the socket and the connectors those of which will be behind his chair. Basically the power connectors to your computer are in front of your desk but behind the competitor who is sitting in front of you.

I went there for SSC exam, Management of exam center were not professional, rooms are not well ventilated. Wash-rooms are very clean.

Poor connectivity.But still if have private car or ola it very good location.

Nice place and environment. For online exam centre related issue, TCS is much more better than UEM.

It is situated in a very good location. It is about one hour journey by bus from bidhannagar railway station. You can also go bike taxi auto from railway station. as an examination centre its environment is very good but there is a lack of proper checking system. The stuffs are not well trained. You should be cautious for your examination. Otherwise everything is good. Best of luck.

Very neat and clean. A places hygiene tells its management and this is one of those top places.

For the last 4 years it has been my second home I used to spend around 10-11 hours daily. Quite strict and disciplined environment. No ragging as seniors do not have time cause of huge pressure of Engineering and its natural. We enjoy the tech fest Ureckon and cultural fest which are well organised and University has range of international students chapter for students development.

I visited the place few months ago, for admission process of my cousin brother, teachers and staffs are well educated and there are soo many facilities like big Library, all sports ground, auditorium hall and all chemistry, physics and computer laboratory.

I had my CHSL exam here. 1st of all I had to wait in hot weather as there is no any shelter. The guards were unprofessional and confused. They even didnt know what to do. Now come to the examination lab there was so hot no any fan were there over my head. And the worst thing was that the mouse was not working properly. My exam was totally spoilt. I will complaint.

CBT lab not good....

I visited this college twice and every time I saw the college following all the Covid norms . Well sanitized , social Distancing maintained . Teachers are also well mannered and helpful

Bad location as a exam center. No air-conditioned room. No social distancing maintained in the exam hall. PCs are placed very close to each other divided by cardboards.

Yes its a very good infrastructure and also best college. They have very best faculty and good quality lab. Its also have an innovation lab which provide students to do their project in world class environment. Their teaching way is also good. And the last but not the least here placement is very good which provide a good quality job for everybody. And lastly this college have IEEE member so, you can publish your journal which boost your CV during placement interview.

Disclaimer: My review of UEM is that of an exam center and not that of an Engineering college.As an exam center, it is below average. The computers are small separated by cardboard joined by using cellotape. Yeah, im not joking.The staff have little knowledge regarding the exam procedure. And what i saw in the exam, is no less than a horror movie for competitive students. Mouse not working, desktop getting hanged. Two students had to be shifted to other computers in the middle of the exam. Desktop table setup space is very limited and not well placed. The less i talk about it, the better. I just hope no more exam of mine falls there anymore.Regarding parking, you can park your two wheeler or even your car on the side of the road outside.It was not as congested as that of TCS.

This place must never be considered an examination center. Their behavior is unprofessional, and the computer labs have either poor working fans or no fans, stick-width benches, and less than 5 inches of space left for you to work on a table with a piece of ripped paper and a sluggish keyboard with a slow mouse. As you sweat like bullets throughout the entire time youre there; their conduct is decimating students potential to perform at their best on top of that. They dont know what they are doing, clueless as a child left out in a Wonka chocolate factory. I am going to inform the IBPS and report on their shortcomings. No wonder why TCS Gitobitan is twice as better.

Management system is not good. TCs is much better than UEM.Electricity problem. If you wants to here with bus first you have to go biswa bangla then you have to take auto.All buses not availble here.

Review for Govt job examinees: Computers are not up to the mark. Slow. 2 aspirants in my room even suffered from technical problem. Small desk space. Desktops are separated by plastic cardboards hold in place with cello tapes.Transportation from Bidhannagar: Direct bus upto UEM, Fare 20/- Time- 50 min without traffic.Direct auto (reserved/shared) Fare 70-80/- per person. Time- 35min without traffic.Bus readily available upto Narkel Bagan and then from there to the center.There is no suitable shady waiting/seating area outside the examination center.Staffs are friendly enough but probably unaware of the procedure. They announce things like Ok, Im ready to begin, start your exam or Ok exit exam a minute or two late.

Disgusting experience, my computer was not working properly, every time i have to press 2-3 time for each click, i aaked for replacement before starting but they told after starting exam if there is any problem, IT will fix it... But after starting exam i told, but no IT came,,, only for this center i have lost my last attempt. SSC should not conduct any exam there. Worst technical facility.

I had my ssc exam there. Very bad computer lab. People there are not helpful we have to find our own lab there is no one in the floor to ask. One lady was there who was so busy with her phone that i asked her 100 times about the lab and she was showing with her hand to wait.. It was almost time and she is least bothered.

My Competitive exam was conduct here...this was a very bad experience in my life... computers are not working properly and the people of that college dont know what can do for conducting a exam and also they have rude behaviour...I hope no other examination board considered this place as a competitive exam centre

Nice college. One of the most restricted college in New Town, Kolkata. Teachers are so good, very friendly with students. One condition of this college is no one can overruled the discipline of this college even teachers and guardians also. I like this college except one thing...Fees of this college is very high. I got my exam centre over there.... Everything is just ok not that good just make sure that before your exam start check that you computer is working properly.....i found issue with mouse it was not working.....and some other student had face problem with there computer before exam..... The space for examination is very less soon or later you will fill uncomfortable and last the computer table was full of dust

I am a student of this college(Engineering). Faculty is very good and available for every branch studied here. Campus placement is moderate but still considering. Playing ground is well maintained for cricket and football, basketball court is also there.
