I loved this temple a lot. The artistry is so perfect, the whole ambience of the place is calm, soothing and the guards are generous and kind. This temple is top notch clean n tidy which is the main thing I loved about this place. Picturesque is the perfect adjective that fits here. There’s parking space so its easy to commute with your own vehicle. It has canteen which serves pure veg, healthy food.

The place is located right beside the NH 117 (Diamond Harbor Road). It is built on a huge area, with enough space for parking, a vegetarian cafeteria, lawns, park, and of course, the temple.It is beautifully decorated, and it has a peaceful ambience. It is well maintained by the staff, and you can visit it during specific timings of the day.

Its a masterpiece. Serene and beautiful, amazing carvings throughout the temple premises. Temple of Swami Narayan ji, also you can get to see Ram Sita Hanuman mandir, Shiv Parvati Ganesh Mandir, Radhakrishna mandir. It has a vegetarian restaurant too, the food is really good. Parking available. A stunning architecture and surely a must visit.

Beautiful architecture, grandeur in the middle of nowhere. Built of red sandstone the interiors are breathtaking as well. The compound is very spacious,.clean and very well maintained.The restrooms are clean and parking lot is available.Word of caution, if you are planning to visit in the evening hrs(4 to 7 pm), better hire a cab else leave early as the app cabs are a tad difficult to find due to the remoteness.

We can call it Place of Peace, the worship Shree Swaminarayan’s temple. The for form of BAPS is Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha. In Kolkata it is situated Bhasa, Diamond Harbour Road, where you will find ample communication options. The temple itself has a big paid parking area for bike, car and bus.The temple is a great place for visiting with family and friends to hangout for a day. The architecture of this temple is a unique and stunning creation in its own. The artwork is so amazingly done in all over the temple which will makes it exception and architectural masterpiece. Beside the main temple there are several branch temples to visit. There is a big canteen with numerous completely veg dishes, tea, coffee, samosa, dosa, cold drinks etc. and approx. 500 sitting arrangements inside it. A central library is also there inside the temple area. Enough space for roaming around and a big and clean washroom is also available. For puja purpose there are two tokening options are present to Swami Narayan 50/- for 2 100/- for 4. Timing for visiting the temple are daily 7:30 am - 10:30 am, 11:15 am - 12 pm, 4 pm - 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm, 8:00 pm - 8:15 pm and for Arti Shangar: 7:30 am, Rajbhog: 11:15 am, Sandhya: 6:30 pm, Shayan: 8:00 pm.I really liked this place, already visited 3 times, really a great experience overall. Recommending other to visit and explore.

Made of pink colour stone brought from Rajasthan and constructed by expert labourer from Rajasthan.Overall beautiful. Well maintained. Spacious, Car parking available. Presently car parking rate is Rs 40/- for four wheeler.

The temple area, courtyard, gardens are huge. Away from the city, it is a calm place to relax yourself. Please do not mind one matter. I am a Bengali and the temples atmosphere and architecture is totally non Bengali. I couldnt fully feel a connection to this place as I came to explore it. Hope many others will. Food price @ the canteen is fairly high. Apart from the personal opinion, its a scenic and pleasant place.235 route bus is one of the buses plying over Diamond Harbour Road. Fare is ₹9.

This temple is an outstanding example of architecture, located in the suburbs of the city. It has a particular opening and closing time. You can visit the premises, and spend time entire day though cant enter the temple during its closure.Its a huge area well maintained, Aarti time is at 6pm and the temple remains closed from 12-3pm. Theres souvenir shop, veg restaurant inside which is pretty reasonable. Parking is available inside. Mobile and camera is not at all allowed in the temple. I managed somehow though, with a special reference. You will love to go there in winter especially.

Beautiful architecture, atmosphere but the authority or management prefers Hindi, at least they can try Bengali where the mandir is in Bengal.

This temple is an outstanding example of architecture located at outskirts of Kolkata near Pailan. The temple is made and maintained by Swaminarayan trust and is a copy of Akshardham Temple of New Delhi.The temple area are huge it has big garden, fountains, food court, gift shop and a huge parking area. The temple area is very clean and well maintained as well as their garden and food court. The atmosphere inside the temple is very peaceful and calm.But the temple authority prohibited photography here just to earn some money by selling temple pictures I guess. And also the food price at the canteen is a bit high I think cause I have visited many temples and compared to them its pretty much high but this canteen is very hygienic and clean apart from other temple.

Visited the famous Swaminarayan Mandir today. Post lockdown the temple is less crowded. Bought some Insense Sticks from their outlet. They are also selling fresh vegetables. Overall great experience.

Good clean temple. Accessible by public transport. Has large car parking. Currently they have restricted movement for public. Lot of areas have been barricaded. You can enter the main temple. After evening beware of mosquitoes. Canteen food is average.

Good place for day outing

First thing you need to know that they doesnt allow you to take mobile or camera.Its a biggest drawback of this place. And secondly they allow you to enter only in temple timing. Temple remain close from 12 noon to 3.30 pm make sure you manage your time accordingly. Now coming to temple its build in very large area very well built. Very much clean area and garden is also maintained. There is canteen and restaurant inside you can have Food there they charge reasonable price. You will love this place at first sight but you cant take photos. They are very strict when they saw you clicking photos. There is big parking lot inside so there is no problem of parking

Beautiful temple... Foods r really good. Their stuffs are very helpful.. But one thing I would like to mention... theyre differenciate between male and female to the main temple area..

That was a very awesome day but the temple was closed due to pandemic. I requested the guard to let me come in but he refused again and again we waited there for long time but the God had no sympathy for us ☺️ I gone there with my bicycle and I had driven for almost 30 kilometre.The Mandir was just out of speech Mandir beauty cant be explained with words. It looked like you have gone to some ancient Indian time. I am waiting for the pen demic to be and and I will go again and its a very very very good place if you really want to visit a historical place or any most beautiful.

This place is very beautiful for 1 day trip .. the architecture work is very beautiful .It is one branch of swaminarayan just like akshwardham delhi.It is new in kolkata so most of the people still dont know about it. But if you go for visit you wont feel disappointed.Canteen is there for hot and fresh food.

This was our first family outing after almost a year. The place is really beautiful, clean, well decorated, calm and peaceful. Also ample space for parking. We prayed and enjoyed. And when felt hungry went to the canteen located inside the temple premises. Clean and healthy food served here at nominal price. You can also buy organic vegetables grown at their farm. Some stores are present where one can buy a lot of different items. Will definitely visit again.

I love this place too much! Me my roommate visited here at afternoon. If you want a best experience of this place, then visit here at night or afternoon. I think its the best Temple in Diamond Harbour. Here you can also buy some of your favourite Indian delicious foods. If you want, you can also spend some time with your friends. And one more important thing is Mobile Phone is not allowed inside the temple. You have to submit your phone and then you can enter the temple.

Excellent Architectural beauty.

This temple has opened recently...maybe 3-4 yrs back...The temple is made and maintained by Swaminarayan trust...and is a copy of Akshardham Temple of New Delhi...The complex is huge...has a big garden...with fountains...the atmosphere inside the temple is very peaceful...The main sanctum is two floors high...the temple is made of Marblestone, Sandstone and Redstone...the upper floor has idols of various Gods...while in the lower level there is a Gold idol of Swaminarayan which is kept in a glass chamber...for visiting this part you need to shed 50rs...You need to take off your shoes to get in the main sanctum and there is a place to keep the shoes which is free of cost...There is a huge parking space inside the complex...there is a big food court named Premvati where food is available at a very nominal fee...Also there is a store where some gift and cosmetic items are available...

It is a awesome place must visit. Most of the places are wheelchair accessible. Outside food is not allowed, the place has its own cafeteria and menu are awesome. In the morning u will get dhokla coffee tea and cold drinks only all the other menu are available in evening.

One staff of the mandir said they dont allow dresses and its written on the rue board but when we went through the rules and regulations nothing of that sort was mentioned. Otherwise the place is beautiful.
