One of the best single screens in town. Have been going to this place since the early 90s. It has upgraded itself with all the latest knick nacks in projection and sound from time to keep up with the times and standards it brings with it. Fully air conditioned, neat and clean, lets you carry your own choice of food and snacks from outside and most importantly pocket friendly ticket prices you cant as for more. One of the best single screens of South calcutta undoubtedly.

Growing up, many of my fond movie memories are associated with Navina. The first Star Wars, awestruck by George Lucass interpretation of Japanese fairy tales, my Dad sharing James Bond tickets the day I finished my Class X exams... Glad to see that the place is still clean, neat, and provides a pleasurable viewing experience, with Daniel Craigs last Bond outing. Thanks.

Superb cinema hall in Prince Anwar shah Road, just beside the road. A very affordable air conditioned theater with a good seats with recliner. A huge seating capacity is there with three section called Rear stall being in the front, Dress circle is in the back rows in lower deck, and the balcony seats.Screen is little curved but picture quality good though the sound could be better.Otherwise a value for money hall. If you want to spend less money than the multiplex for the same movie then it is for you.Food items are available in the break in your seat itself. Bathroom are fairly clean. You can feel the old school heritage movie theater.

Watched lot of movie since school days , very near to south city mall and experienced is good while waving movie you can get better sound experienced and picture , i some part you will get better movie experience that the all expensive movie theater in Kolkata , last movie I did watch here King Kong vs Godzilla amazing experience after a long time

I had watched 3-4 movies when i was a college student because of its pocket friendly ticket price.The common area is not so soecious but for an economic and calculating persons. Quite a good place.Place is well connected. Easy accessible parking for two and four wheelers. Chairs are in a good condition. You can avail book my show. Unlike other movie halls toilet is accessible even after the show is over. The sound quality is not that much good from balcony. It took me few minutes to adjust my self to the volume.

Affordable it is. And also the place is pretty decent despite its cheap price of tickets. I loved it.

One of the oldest cinema hall in Kolkata. In past went to watch movies there. Then there was a wall blocking the road in front of it but now it is missing and the hall is now over the road. In recent years it got modified. There are lots of bike 🏍️ mechanics shops and spare parts shops beside it. Now a happening place.

It is a single screen cinema hall located just nearby south city mall....the chairs are comfortable and most important the rates are also reasonable for tickets....nowadays we are receiving e-ticket in our phone number...therefore maintaining all safety measures of Covid 19.

My first priority of any movie outing. Be it Hollywood Bollywood or Tollywood. Just love the sound quality and the screen. Seats are well cushioned. Outside food is allowed. No issues at all with that. A budget friendly Movie hall I must say.

Went to watch Wonder Woman 1984. Must say, quite impressed by the clean & sanitised seats inside the auditorium. Also due to Covid protocols, consumption of food/snacks is not allowed inside the auditorium for now. As a viewer, I completely agree to this and find it valid, as this rule keeps the mess in control.

If youre going for Balcony, take the first row towards the screen. Its a good screen with good sound if you wanna go somewhere cheap and with friends. I generally prefer sitting infront towards the screen so that the film appears even more larger than life than it already is. So from my view this is a pretty chill place. Unless you want the absolute cinematic experience. Sometimes the audience here can be loud which is okay if you dont mind it and are loud yourself too. Its all moods for me so I would definitely recommend Navina if you have the mood for a bollywood energetic film or a simple big screen time pass and may be a bit more.

Good movie hall which is located at the main road. The hall is spacious and sound can be improved . The price of the tickets are reasonable . The hall also provides a food stall but the price of food and beverage available there can be a bit cheaper .

I love this place because of its neat, clean organized ticket counter, cinema hall and its hygienic washroom. Outside of the hall you can find a place to order shots , lemonade, starters and many more snakcs and chilling things to njoy the pre and post movie hangouts with friends .

Somewhat multiplex like feeling at an affordable price. Big thumbs up for sound & picture quality. The screen is big enough. Ambient is quite nice. Unlike multiplexes, you can carry your own food into the theatre.

Nice theatre. Very easy convenience. If u are planning to book the premium stall tickets, book the last or second last row. One problem is that if the person sitting in front of u is tall, he or she will block ur view. Buy chips and other snacks from outside as they will charge more. They charged ₹20 for a ₹5 packet of chips. Seats are naturally inclined and pretty comfortable.

Its not such a impressive movie theater. But its value for money. They can improve their screen as it seems small to me....and obviously they should improve their sound quality as well. Above all not a bad experience.

This is a very old cinema hall. It revives the memories of a bygone era. This cinema hall has been renovated. But still it feels the same as it was say two decades or more ago. The biggest plus point of this picture hall is its location. The audiences are pulled to the cinema hall because of its strategic location.

Love the experience, first of all its cheap, you can get a good movie experience for 80-100 rs easily. The screen is very nice, seats are fine. The popcorn here is mind blowing. Cheese popcorn for around Rs 50 is something you wont get in multiplex cinema halls these days and it tastes brilliant. Sound experience is also pretty good. Unlike other small theatres, they have a nice surround sound experience and over all enjoyable experience

It is value for money. Mostly I go to multiplex. So theres a lot of difference that I felt. Mostly with the sound effects and the seating. But the authorities maintain it properly. Also, I could enjoy popcorn without paying more than the ticket itself! 😁

Watching movies in this cinema hall when we were teenagers in college was an amazing experience even though it was a very ordinary hall. But from my recent experience I can tell you it has changed beyond imagination. One can even watch a 3D movie by using a special spectacles provided by hall. The screen, sound system et all has been totally changed, including the air conditioning system which is too good. The behaviour of the staffs was friendly and polite. Above all the price of the tickets are very reasonable. When other cinema halls are closing down Navina has adapted to the changing times and has survived. Best wishes for it.
