This is small cinema hall in West Bengal Kolkata z situated nearby Ravindra sorabar park, its quite good to watch films with in budget of 150-200 rupees range in Kolkata, they are following strictly covid19 protocol here , staff are good mannred.

I recently went there to watch Thalaivi. Hall is in a very poor condition, there is no maintenance. Screen has no brightness,also color contrast is bad, you would feel like you are watching a black and white movie. Not sure whether ac is there or not as I could only see fans working. Not recommended at all.

The theatre location is best. Near Rabindra sarovar lake. And Available here small restaurant. The place best for hangout. And theatre quality also good. Ticket price reasonable.

I just want to highlight on few things:1. Screen is good. It is not like multiplex one. But in terms of brightness, it is really good. In terms of size, it is not that big like multiplex.2. Sound is also good. At least, I have understood each word.3. AC is not like chilling one. But it is comfortable inside.4. Sits are also bending to backside.5. The staffs are incompetent to host a houseful show.Overall, you will enjoy the movie. Against the money that you are paying, it is really good to watch movies here.

Situated at lake view road , easy to connect beside rabindra sarowar lake , good place to watch movie , picture quality is good but sound is not good enough , don’t take backside sit , you will not get proper view that is the negative one

Sparkly, colorful, relatively well maintained art deco movie house. Stick to the balcony if youre looking for plush, modern, comfy seats. Very reasonable prices. Only disappointment is the sound; explosions come through loud and clear, but dialogue is gobbled. Beware, films sometimes start early!

Little crowded. Food joints outsider coffee is good from the Coffee dispenser. Tea is equally good. Mostly college crowds and couples

Cinema hall entrance and staffs are quite good. But the hall was not that great. They didnt Turn on the AC rightly, most of the people was complaining about that. I went to Watch the Godzilla vs kong, sound and screen quality was just average.Not a good experience of Cinema viewing. These single screens need to improve the basic things that right so that they can run long in this competition.

An old world charm of the cinema experience as it was then. It has survived and survived very well. Best place for wide-screen experience with family. Good audio, comfortable seating and comprehensive nice ambience that makes you feel at home. Good food too.

What a budget friendly theatre but the sound and seating arrangement need some fixings

This place is quite a happening place for movie buffs. It houses both Hindi and Bengali films. The seats are quite comfortable as per the price. I will suggest to experience a Bollywood star-studded movie out here. The experience with the crowd is quite funny.

Didnt filled with satisfaction . Went to watch Endgame but the screen is to small and the 3D effect is too poor , dont have proper quality. While watching the movie I had to remove glass for 2-3 times to understand some actions of the film. Sitting space on dress circle is poor to , if you choose back seat to get a good view you get the worst because when youll sit youll get to see the heads of the other audience which are infront of you. Didnt got the perfect experience of the Movie , watched another time at different threatre.

Once upon a time Menoka happened to be one of the pioneer name amongst the movie theatres in South Kolkata. And today, it has upgraded itself to a multiplex. If you are looking forward to catch a movie at a complete reasonable price, along with a good experience, you may give it a go.

Horrible picture quality, horrible sound and horrible audiences. They charge Rs. 40 extra for 3D glasses and refund only Rs. 30 when the 3D glasses are returned. Worst movie experience ever! I would suggest everyone to avoid this movie theatre at all costs.

Ive visited this place in lockdown, when all cinema was closed. I heard about this cinema, one of the oldest and famous cinema in South kolkata.

At the affordable price with ac n 3d also its good place for a movie date

Its okay.. Not bad. But what I felt there that the screen is so small and picture is a little hazy. Even with the 3D glass. And seats are a little bit dusty. Im telling about regular seats.. Ive never been sat on the balcony seats of this cinema hall.. But all over its a nice hall as ticket price is very reasonable. I like it.

The location is quite good, its just beside the Rabindra Sarovar Lake with lots of food stalls available outside. The price of the movie tickets are also within the budget . Good audio and visual experience, screen size is medium and not that large compared to multiplex, AC is also kind of okay. Very colorful and well maintained movie hall compared to others . Seats are not that good its bit dusty . Over all if youre looking for a movie hall with reasonable ticket price and nice ambiance with good screen quality Menoka Hall is just one of a kind.

Shah Rukh Khan ki koi movie ho toh 1st day any show at Menoka Cinema must.

It is one of the old single screen theatre of South Kolkata but few things need to change immediately.Seating Arrangement need to be more comfortable with adequate leg space.Quality of Air Conditioning need improvement.Sound Quality is also bad, need improvement.It should have the facility of Online Ticket Booking.Strange thing is that they are charging for 3D Glasses (I have attached a picture with my Review of 3D Glass Prices).Moreover if Menoka wants to be in race with INOX PVR Cinepolis etc need a notable transformation.

Nice seating with sliding chairs but not extremely comfortable. Toilet is situated at an uncomfortable distance from the theater entrance. Popcorn & nachos available inside.

Hey it was fun visiting Menoka Cinema after ages... Had been with a very close friend. Very nice n courteous staff, Plain Potato Chips in transparent white packs n steaming hot Nescafé took me down memory lane... I think it is remade. The hall looked freshly painted with Fans n AC. Good but not better choice...this hall situated beside lake, thats why its famous hall and all are used it for watching movies. Sits are comfortable 👍 space between two rows are perfect. Almost like inoxes... Food services and the decor was good with a proper air conditioned ambience... Though I will always say the screen needs improvement. This Cinema hall is extremely near Dhankuria lake and one of the finest single screen I have ever seen........ The environment of the Cinema hall is completely comfortable. The hall is nit and clean properly. Ticket prices are not so high. But the space between one seat and another seat is very low.

Nice and tidy cinema hall. Audio and visual quality is enough good. Toilets are clean. This place has food stall inside. Foods are good. I deduct the one star for its ground floor. Floor space is narrow and not enough for gathering crowds. No sits available for the visitors who are waiting outside.

Place located near Rabindra sarabar lake. Famous among school and College students.Usual 90st style setup some recent upgradation done over the time but still you can find the presence of the old stuff and props.

So after watching movies you can spend time with your person in the Lake.
