Its a wonderful place for transport. The road from here connects each main roads. I living here for 13 years. I love this place.

Its an age old Shiva Temple established by the Roy family of Dhakuria where the worshipped deity is of Digambarishwar Shiva . Currently the regular Pujas and the grand puja of Maha Shiva Ratri are done under the aegis of the said family. The temple area is clean and well maintained.The temple can easily be spotted from moving vehicles as it is located right on the main road hence serves as a prominent landmark for the adjoining areas of Dhakuria Roy Para (Sarat Ghosh Garden Road) .
