Went to the Topsia outlet to try out their buffet. Extremely beautiful place with an amazing decor. The buffet is quite cheap. Main course at 299/- (Weekend 399/-), dessert buffet at 100/- One can take as many times as he/she wants. Food quality is quite good. Make sure you take some time in your hand before visiting as the billing process takes quite a long time.One good thing is that to avoid wastage of food, they take a fine of 100/-

This place is huge, easy to find and have a nice ambiance. Went there for Happy Hours menu and found out that half of the drinks are unavailable. Food taste quite delicious. Pricing is reasonable except water which will cost you 55Rs a bottle and soft drinks costs you 110 Rs a glass

One of the Cheapest buffet in the city!!Recently visited this place with FoodZpah team, for the launch of the newest unlimited buffet at 299/-DESI LANE, Topsia is the perfect places to party with your friends as the serve great food in very reasonable rate.The food was excellent. The staff was very courteous. They kept coming and asking about the food quality. All the items are superb in taste. Especially the fish item fresh nd soft.It was really a amazing experience. Desi lane - The best part is you cannot waste food or drinks and this was great liked by all. You take what you can have and drink for extra you waste you have to pay.. Fortunately we had finished all we had and had taken.. No wastage at all. Hats off to coming up with such good ideas, more places should have such conditions.The drinks were really tasty and the one preparing it was really skilled. The appearance and the taste both were upto the mark and delivered good experience.Friday - ladies night, service is too slow, no proper waiting system, as in we had to order twice for every single request we had, still received incomplete order.. At times we ourselves went to the counter to collect our drinks as we could see it waiting to be delivered to us with no one to attend to.Major set back is lack of attention that you receive as per service. We had our drinks come short and even for the dinner ordered was incomplete. We were 6 people and half of us were waiting while the other half had received drinks and food.The food and drinks were really tasty and the ambience was good, but the dj was awful, his taste was really bad and kept on playing boring and irritating songs. He did not bother to change even when requested. Overall a good experience as I was with my friends and had a lot of fun..

Food is okay. But some items were too spicy. Chicken biryani was worse.Worse thing was the service1) They dont serve normal water and the packaged drinking water worth Rs.20 is charged 50rs2) Drinking water cannot be ordered once you start your meal.3) They have a different set of rules which they dont explain. Had to change seats 3 times4) You will have to pay for wasting food. This is usually a good rule. But we didnt like a few items and so its illogical to pay more for not liking any item. Nowhere was it mentioned and youll be charged while leaving.Writing all this because customers should know all this before going to the outlet

Best place for cheap buffet. And it could become more better if one could enjoy buffet and get to have drink alcohol together rather than doing it both in separate area.

Ambienece is awesome. Staff behaviour is very good. Food quality satisfactory. Around 10 - 12 items for main course which costs 299 in weekdays & 399 in weekends ( friday to sunday ). 6 Dessert items which is not included in the buffet payment. It costs 99 per head. Good music, broader space than alipore branch, a bit open light type. If u like proper pub theme and dark light, alipore branch is better i felt.i would choose alipore over topsia. this place has this buffet service extra.

Awesome place with nice ambience. It also have a small dance floor near DJ. Prices are cheap and if you avail while happy hour is on then it is very reasonable. Staffs are very helpful and have good behaviour. In comparison to Desi Lane, Alipore this outlet is much bigger than that.

I went here for my graduation party. I have heard about them a lot. Happy hours are superb. No other places were providing us with happy hours in this Covid situation. So desi lane was our ultimate choice. Beautiful decor and ambience. Only difficulty we faced is that even after repeatedly telling them to do something with the AC they did nothing, may be the AC was not working or something like that. One choco point- they have amazing pizzas.. 😍

Prices are low which is a show stopper. The food quality is really good. The cosmopolitan is a MUST HAVE. However, the stock of beer is trash as they only have Kingfisher, like ALWAYS.

One of my favourite spot in Kolkata to hang out with friends, however reservation is recommended for this place as it gets crowded almost every day, the place has the charm and life during the late evening and night hours, do visit with friends or colleagues to enjoy your weekends and relax your mind with your favorite drink, I personally love their Pizza, in my opinion except dominos and pizza hut every this kind of outlet serves the best pizza with thin crust and smoky flavour, do try their lasagne and their kebab platter.. The staffs are friendly but as the outlet is always buzy expect a little delay in the service but you would not be bored during the waiting thats the guarantee...

A place which is must visit. Generally one has to wait during weekends, but the wait is worth it. Its spacious with pretty ambience, huge floor decorated with dramatic movie posters. If a person is photogenic then can definitely get superb pictures. They have a bar as well. The DJ plays cheerful songs, if a person loves dancing then they can surely enjoy. Now Talking about service its slow, had to wait for food a lot, but nevermind as the food quality and quantity both is good. Overall a great place to hangout with friends.

I dont like this place this was the 2nd Time I went there ...1st was 31st eve they didnt allow us to enter bcz we are 2peoples but we already spoke to their representatives over the phn they said first come first service but when we went there they simply refuse us they said two peoples are not allowed we dont allow couples to enter ...but the last time when we went there that time we are 4 peoples the bouncers behaviour was quite rude and the service was bad ...they dont value their customers

Ambience was good, but I have one advice. The volume of the songs that were playing there could be little bit reduced. Sometimes it gets difficult to have a conversation. Otherwise food is good. More options of beer could have been better. Only two options were there.

Amazing place. Food is excellent and price is reasonable. But liquor not available on Monday and Thrusday because they do not have permanent license. As compare to Alipore Desilane its floor area and capacity is huge.

Absolutely loved the ambience and service and it really does provide alcohol at minimum rates. Easy to locate and commute and staffs were very good. I strongly recommend this place.

This was my first time at Desi Lane (Topsia). About 3mins walking from Topsia More.. Outdoor look is creative.. with lots of cool desi graffiti. On the inside, ambience is good, with huge space which does not make it suffocating.For food - There is Desi Lanes own buffet counter, which I didnt try yet, so cant comment on that.For Bar menu - Happy hours menu is unbelievably affordable 😂 (starting from just 19/-) There are different time slots for Happy Hours.Service was good, waiters were well decent & sober.Its a must visit pub for hangouts at affordable prices. ☺️

A branch of the old alipore desi lane. The food menu and the beverages are just awesome. The happiest hours are highly recommend. People visit this joint to booze but my suggestion try the murgh punjabi and murgh patiala wuth masala kulcha or naan. The crowd is chique and the place awesome. Ambience super. Larger than the alipore one though. You can find it in topsia just after the orchid gardens if you come from science city. Highly recommended.

All I can say is it was the worst experience ever. I have faced the following issues which I dont feel a customer deserves. I visited this place with high hopes but the experience let me down.1. The table we were served got uneven legs. The movement was enough to make a glass of water to fall down. Im not sure how this thing kept unnoticed. I had to call a waiter to fix this and he did it by putting a bunch of tissue papers under the table leg.2. The first order was 2 beers along with a 60 ml Blenders Pride. We were served the beer first and then I saw the waiter coming with a jigger and a glass along with his shivering hands, dropping the alcohol in the floor and in his hand. The waiter didnt wait to ask whether we would like ice or soda. Had to call him again and he appeared with a glass of water. I literally had to request him to provide us a little bit attention and a glass flask so that we can pour water, which usually all the bars in Kolkata is aware of and serve without asking.3. The second order was 2 30ml 100 pipers and a beer. Surprisingly, the waiter showed up with one glass containing 60ml 100 pipers. On interrogating, he said ek sathei diyedilam. I saw no point of arguing with him. Maybe they were saving glasses and want two people to share drink from a single glass.4. The waiter recommended us to try out Shredded Chicken which turned out to be a disastrous. The chicken seems to be double fried and reheated as the pieces were too hard. It was just way harder than kurkure with no sign/smell of chicken.The only thing I found good was the french fries. The quantity compared to the price is quite good. Well, the overall experience was a complete regret. Staff service was quite unprofessional as we were handled by unexperienced people.

During happy hours (12pm to 3pm) alcohol is available at 19/-. The property is very spacious and had tables for all the kinds of crowd. Its desi lane 2.0.. same cheap happy hour menu, same good food but guys you need to work on the music, same songs were repeatedly playing which is sort of a minus point. Also please put some lights in your washroom, atleast the ladies washroom, unless you want some girl coming out of it looking like a zombie..

The worst restaurant in Kolkata. Behaviour with the customers are not upto the mark. Have no respect. Even the in charge is of no use. Making people suffer. If you wanna go there always have a girl with you.. The name should be changed to Girls Lane than Desi lane. The man in black shirt was of no use. Just a puppet. Wish you have no more branches. Because money has made you all nonsense people.

A very affordable and pocket friendly buffet at 399/-. Dessert was extra 99/- which is a bit of a bummer. They have an excellent policy that if you waste whatever youve taken up on your plate, you have to pay 100/- as a fine. The drinks were very costly though. A 300ml of corona beer cost 575/-.
