Sweet Bengal has a beautiful modern eatery . You can have snacks and sweets ,tea ,coffee etc at a reasonable price .Quality is average but decor and hygiene are well maintained. Staffs are efficient and courteous. Overall good experience.However coming from the stable of Anjan Chatter of Oh Calcutta fame ,quality should have been better .

This place is really nice.. recently visited this place with my friends for diwali sweets.. and its surprising that they made some special sweet boxes for diwali and vaifota.. there will be 3 types of sweet in every box.. we ordered1. Kesar kachagolla (it tastes really good.. the price of this kachagolla is 21/- each..)2. Kalakand ( its a common one but the taste matters.. its soft and nicely made)3. Black currant kalakand ( its very rear in Kolkata.. and its their speciality... You can also get it on diwali and vaifota boxes.)The good thing about this boxes that they are customizable... And its worth upto 425/-All over its a good recommendation... and on a very hygienic way they packages every boxes..

Loved the black current kalakand and Keshor chomchom in banana leaf. Both these sweets are delicious to taste. The best part is it isnt excessively sweet nor is it grainy sugary. Absolutely loved it and I highly recommend the chomchom!! Fabulous treat before the pujas.

One of the finest sweet shop in Southern avenue but now it seems they have closed the outlet.

This is a newly opened Sweet shop in the Southern Avenue region. Its just 1 min walk from the famous lake kalibari temple and at the mouth of the lane near the restaurant Dugout. The sweets from here are of heavenly taste. Otherthan sweets snacks like Pav bhaji, kachuri, Puris are also available. The store is really neat and decorative, staffs are welcoming and the prices are normal. If you are a sweet loving person you must try/ or a idea shop for gifting sweets to your near and closed ones too.😊

Even though its a little on the expensive side, I tried a few of their desserts and they were absolutely phenomenal. If you wish to have true Bengali sweet, I think this is the place you need to go. Try the jaggery sandesh and mishti doi of course.

It was my First time there, went just to buy some sweets but upon arriving we found that also had savoury, snacks, pastries . we ordered Panipuri ,pastry, papdi chaat, chhole kulche and some sweets. we were so delighted to taste all of those items because each and every item was really heavenly as they say it was very yummy experience. I would definitely visit this place again and I recommend everyone to go there give it a try you are going to come back.The place is also very clean and properly sanitized, well maintained.

One of the best sweet shops in Kolkata.To be very honest, I would rate their sweets higher than that of Balaram Mallick or Bancharam.

The food was delicious and the ambience was amazing. Tried koraisutir kochuri, vegetable chop, kaju barfi and a special type of misti(name I dont remember). Also tried the lobongo lotika and chitrakut too. Koraisutir kochuri was served with alur torkari. It is self service. There are tall wooden tables where you can stand and have your food. The interior is designed with beautiful paintings from the Bengal culture.

Recently opened in Kolkata and has its presence in Mumbai and perhaps the other Metros. The quality of sweets is good and reasonably priced within the range of Rs 15 to Rs 25 a piece. Dahibada, Namkeen, Kachori and Bada Pao are also available here.

This is the third time when I ordered few items from Sweet Bengal and despite having made online payment for all the items I didnt receive all the items I had ordered. Very bad experience.

Interesting fare on display but pathetic counter staff, so unwilling to serve! A minimum of 3 requests for each item that 6 of my family group wanted to eat! And thermocole bowls and plates?!! When I pointed out, the staff said management not listening to them!
