The oldest swimming pool of Salt Lake. Previously it boasted one of the best trainers in West Bengal, from where multiple state and National champions made their way through. It can be upgraded a bit and maintained a bit better. It has 2 huges swimming pools, one having around 3 feet of water in the deeper side for children and the other a huge pool with more than 14 depth.

Possibility to improve it as a standard sweeming pool and place for physic development jeopardized as the management is in the hand of receiver. Facilities are bare minimum, maintenance is as is where is lastly a Jim is there to show primitive style of body building. Staffs are non concern /casual like the Receiver. A sufficient government land and facilities is the only cause to keeping it afloat. Few years back part of its land occupied by local councilor or authority to construct a club for the block though enough place is there in adjacent large park. It is well connected and oldest sweeming club in salt lake. Ambiance was very good once upon a time. Now it is just working.

Located in saltlake and easily accessible from VIP road, Ultadanga and New Town. Season starts from April and goes till September. Bit reasonable but trainer to student ratio is very less. During the starting of the season it gets too crowded.

All the charm has lost, its now lying vacant.

They have trainers . Swimming exams are conducted. The time slots can be availed according to your convenience.It is open from Tuesday to Sunday.The have a standard crowd

Having been a member of Bidhan Nagar swimming association, i can say it is professionally managed by some very nice people in town. It is a good place for beginners to learn swimming.

Pool is good and big enough. But staff is not. Maintenance is not good. Staffs are rude. Few trainer r polite but senior most is very rude. There is extra charge for everything. In a session around 500/- extra will be charged over fee.

However not visited the actual swimming pool, but in the evening time street food/food joint are available in front of the swimming pool, there I have visited. And this food joint us very famous among the salt lake residents.

This swimming pool had opened since Bidhannagar notified authoritys s time most probably session started from april to august . Two shift morning and evening upto 8 or 9 pm. Monday is closed. There are two pools one for novis. Ladis trainer engaged for ladies. Multy gym also available. Arrangement is good water of pools treated.
