Well constructed and spacious club located near Central shopping centre in Newtown. One has to take membership to avail facilities of the club. Has restaurants, bars, conference halls, swimming pools, banquet halls, lawns, sports like badminton, air rifle, squash, lawn tennis etc. People can use clubs facilities is the have a person in contact who is a member. Then they can pay a small amount per day. But that is not a good solution. Recommend the club to provide more options to enroll for individual facilities as one may not be interested in full membership. The club was very neat and clean.

Well here are a few honest words about the NTBC. It is hands down an amazing place, no doubt. But what is a club to an average user? It is a place where we get to socialize, access community facilities, get access to subsidized food and beverages and so on. NTBC in the above mentioned 3 points score 2/3. Facilities here are top notch but I feel a level of professionalism in the employees could be upscaled. But I still have it the point. Where I couldnt is the food and beverage section. The food here is delicious, dont get me wrong. But as a member you expect to get subsidized rates. That here is missing. I would prefer eating at a restaurant in Sector V if I have to spend 700 per person. Thats my take on it, others are of course free to have their own personal opinions. Thats the only reason I gave them 4/5 stars.

This private club boasts of a number of amenities, especially with its newly added shooting arena and squash zones. The swimming section trains non-members as well during the swimming section. The property is impeccably well maintained and you can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or cafe, both of which are impressive. Overall, this place is a perfect example of where you would head for a swim and few beers by the pool on these sultry weekends ahead.

This is the only club run by the Government of West Bengal. It has nice facilities for indoor and outdoor games including dat, table tennis, pool, tennis, badminton and swimming. There is place to conduct meeting. The restaurant and bar are nice and not expensive. Entry is restricted to members only and with certain dress code of men. Only con is absence of a parking place.

Very well planned, well maintained, well provisioned facility for Newtown residents. But seems carrying the Pricing approach of a profit oriented private company with the inflexibility of a government body so that membership options are very limited - either whole family has to be a member for 3 years or only above 18 single individual can be a member. No option to pay and go, no option for teens to go play on their own.

A nice, sprawling comfortable place with a good eating place like Ekante Cafe. Has swimming pool and a paid car park just across the road. Great place for hosting marriage receptions and parties. Has a well stocked bar.

I became member of this club a month back. This is a brand new facility and affordable by middle class. In 2018 entry fees is Rs46020. This is one of the cheapest in Kolkata. Bar, restaurant and banquet halls needs special mention.

Spectacular..sprawling with excellent amenities

Went with a member for dinner 3 times in two different restaurants they have inside.1. cafe ekante a multi cuisine restaurant, tried all types of food - Indian preparations are good; try fish fingers, hot Koean style chicken wings, Rara gosht.However continental and Chinese preparations could have been better, but do try, its above average for sure. Price is resonable. Serves alcohol.2. Laa mozzarella - this was a privately organized party on 31st Dec night, so cannot comment on price, however food was really good, it was continental spread.From a tour, saw that they have a nicely equiped gym and two nice and big swimming pools. In other facilities, they have suites rooms, a live band restaurant/bar etc.

It is a very good place for leisure activities, but limited only for members and their guests. It has two swimming pools, a gymnasium, air-conditioned indoor badminton,squash courts and a small shooting range. There is a snooker hall and a table tennis hall as well. There are two lawn tennis courts. There are two restaurants, one cheap an another is costly. A bar with nice ambience is also there. In the ground floor there is a large banquet hall. It has also 4 executive suites for short stays.

An excellent attempt at making an elite club out of a purely government property. It has the necessary bells and whistles: a good restaurant, a good gym, a great pool, and a good banquet hall. The annual rates are quite reasonable. A small crib: I dropped out of the gym due to a surly trainer. But we live in an imperfect world.

A very nice club, with excellent amenities. You wont run short of activities here--- tennis, badminton, TT, etc. The restaurants are excellent. The location is really nice. Ive been here twice, and the whole club is beautifully maintained.

I became a member of this club an year ago. Ambience is fantastic. Be any one an ardent lover of Sports (Gymnasium, Lawn Tennis, Basketball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Billiards), he will find it the perfect place. Two swimming pools are beauties in the crown. Foodies can test almost all delicacies here. And frequent events on cultural, photography and other make it a sojourn for the members and their guests. This is run by NKDA (Govt of West Bengal). I am proud to be a part of it.

Its a fun place to spend weekends with family and friends. I love the ambience of the place. Usually stays calm and peaceful. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor activities like table tennis, badminton, tennis, basketball, pool, swimming, chess etc. Both veg and non veg food options are available in the restaurant. The staff is quite friendly. The cost for membership for 4 years is also reasonable.

Very very bad experience we had during our marriage ceremony by the present food contractor there. Total shortage of food, no basic courtesy, even no responsible person took the charge to protect our dignity and respect INFRONT of guests. After complaining also no action was initiated to overcome the shortage.We had full fledged lunch and dinner booking.I suggest no one should book there for food by this present food contractor
