We went to have the lunch buffet for my birthday.. The hotel has a good vibe but the buffet options could be better. Indian items were good but there was literally no sea food items in the buffet also less drinks option available. The dessert section was good though .. For the price of almost 1800 per buffet it needs to improve a bit. Also there was a cheese sections and the plum nut green salad was amazing ..

This restaurant is located inside JW Marriott hotel, kolkata. The restaurant looks so beautiful in the evening. They have seat capacity of more than 150 people. Whole restaurant is well decorated and the outside waiting room is also very beautiful. We went for a buffer dinner and they had more than 50 items in total including 20 types of desserts. Food quality was absolutely amazing. All items were delicious. Customer service was undoubtedly good. One of the best places for fine dining.

A 5 star hotel with an average buffet. Went on a sunday so couldnt enjoy the ambience as place was overcrowded. Food quality was good but everything was cold. That just ruined the overall impression. Couldnt believe the plates were scratched and dirty and the table was shaky! Staff was too busy to provide us with towels and they even forgot about the drinks which was included in the booking. Deserts tasted bad and the cakes were full size so people had to cut it on their own. It was like a self service buffet experience in an indian wedding lol. Not a good experience for such a high price.

The buffet spread here is just excellent. I have been to this place many times. I really like jw kitchen. Starting from the starters till the desserts each and every food item have its own quality. We went during holi it was special occasion the place was beautifully decorated.

We went for a lunch buffet which was of Rs.2159 per person..it was probably called The Sunday Brunch which included unlimited beer and mocktails and all the buffet items. There was a huge variety of starters and deserts. The main course items were normal like other restaurants.The most disappointing thing is that I didnt find the Biryani so good.Whereas the desert section was really amazing. We got a huge variety of cakes and sweets. Panneer and chicken of main course was super delicious and has got finger licking taste❤️. The Ambience over there is really nice with live music happening. Overall, it was a really nice experience at JW Kitchen.

Tried to TASTE all of the dessert as well. Theres a live noodles counter. The main course options were also good, not great though. Here I am talking bout the taste part not the quantity or quality. I ended up having the salads n starters and then going to desserts directly. Would recommend you do the same as well.The service and decor were great obviously ofcourse. All in all liked not loved the place. Would love to try the Sunday brunch once before deciding on stars.

Went for one of the most grand buffet of the town. I am extremely happy with their service and the behavior of the staffs are so warm and friendly. Food is definitely good and i loved the starters and deserts though starters were very limited in varieties but the taste is awesome. The live pasta and chat counter was excellent. One can have authentic bengali dishes in buffet menu like bhaat, dal, alu posto, dheros er torkari, katla mach er kalia along with chicken biriyani, mutton rohan Josh, chicken dhania. U can have different types of salads as well. They serve fuchka, papri chat, dahi vada, noodle pasta. You can have 10+ items in desert.

Classic restaurant with a huge variety of food.i went there on my anniversary and they have offered us a cake. It would have been nicer if the variety of cheese could have been more. The live pasta counter and the live noodles counter deserve mentioned. Perhaps the best noodles in Kolkata. The desert section is vivid. But the Kalojam needs a special mention.

One of the best place in Kolkata to have Gala Buffet . Chinese, Continental, Mughlai, Bengali, North Indian, English -all different types of cuisines were available there. Enjoyed my brunch a lot. Just completed the lunch buffet with my team (Indus Net Technologies). The no of items are more than 80. Food quality is very good. The desert section is also very nice. The best part was live pasta counter. The taste of pasta was awesome and very authentic. Per head cost was 1500/- (including tax)

My experience was wonderful there. We were 3 members and we had arranged for a buffet and we had also ordered for a cake because me and my sibling wanted to celebrate out birthday together. The food was awesome and the way they presented the food in the kitchen made us eat all of it. They have every variation and nobody will deny the fact that the place and the food is perfect. The cake was such a cute one. For a sec, I didnt feel like cutting it at all (lol). Not to deny the fact that its highly over priced but once a person visits the place, theyd feel the money was worth the whole experience.

Great place to have your comfort food. Yesterday went for corporate dinner and was overwhelmed by the sheer variety of options in food for the buffet. Right from Vietnamese, Asian, Italian, Indian. You will be spoilt for choices. I tried their steamed fish and it tastes really nice contrary to the name it carries. The live pasta and noodles counter are really nice as you can custom make your favorite food.A huge let down was their hospitality. The servers were not attending the tables at all. I asked for a fork and after half an hour, a guy turns up with two spoons. Order bread to be had with curry items, but they did not turn up the entire evening. Didnt expect this kind of hospitality from JW properties.Overall a nice place to have your special moments celebrations.

My experience was not at all good the behavior of the f & b service are not all hospitable. Being a 5 star hotel their service is not up to the mark just spoiled my day. Moreover the food was good but that was totally suppress by the behavior will never want to go their again

I was here for a day on my business trip. This hotel is bouts 40 mins drive from the airport. Hotel is quite big. Rooms are nice and big. Well-maintained rooms. Towels are fresh and nice. Nice pillows. Had a good night sleep. The gym is also good. Breakfast spread is too good. I think they have covered all kinds of local, and international food. Good variety of fresh juices and fruits. Gym is nice and well maintained. Will come back again.

I had visited on Jul 17, 2021. No covid protocols were followed by such a big brand. Plates were not replaced. Had to call someone multiple times to get water. The buffet was taking time to be replenished. Sad state of affairs compared to what I always expected from JW Marriott.

I went there on my birthday. We opted for the dinner buffet on a weekday for 1 person cost us Rs 1775/- AI. The food had a plethora of items to choose from. Chicken, ham, turkey salamis, Indian cuisine to Chinese Cuisine alongwith different varieties of chat. They had 2 dessert sections: 1 is the Indian desserts comprising of Rasmalai, Laddoo etc and the other one being International dessert section consisting of Pina Cota, Lemon tart cake etc. However, the food was okayish and nothing extraordinary in my honest opinion.

I have always loved JW Kitchen and they have one of the best salad spreads in town. The Sunday brunch is always so lavish and indulgent. Went again yesterday and love the love counters especially the thoku paratha counter and the shawarma counter. The seafood boat at the salad counter was phenomenal and the fried seafood and krerela chicken fry was to die for.The staff and JW is always so warm and humble. Have ahd at least 20 meals here and never been disappointed.

I tried the jw kitchen buffet a few days ago. The buffet had lots of options , with various cuisines but mainly focused on indian.Out of various dishes they had , those i liked were -✔️STARTERS - Options were limited ( 2 veg and 2 non veg ) , out of which the kung pao fish , jalapeno cheese balls were good.✔️MAIN COURSE - chicken biryani , Malabar fish , chicken masala were the ones that i liked.they also had noodles and pasta counter which i really liked.✔️ DESSERTS - Now coming to the dessert, they had a huge section with numerous items. out of all those - gulab jamun , panacotta, brownie delight, mud cake , chocolate cherry pie , macaroons ,almond pear tart.

The Dinner Buffet of JW Kitchen is just awesome! The menu has many options, North Indian Foods, Bengali Foods, Italian and evrn street food like papri chaat and gol gappa too. The starters were like never ending the plate for me. It was lip smacking good. The desserts are a perfect *the end.* The waffle was so good! Had a great evening indeed!

Its a very lively place as the Sunday Brunch us just fabulous. Its a happening and bustling hotel, I must admit. As you enter the lobby you find people everywhere be it the main lobby or the Tea lounge and moreover the All Day dining is an extension of the lobby itself making it even more vibrant and full of life.What an amazing spread it was ! Endless salads, cold cuts, dips and dressings leading to the bread station and over to the other cuisines. Chaats and Puchkas also brightly attract on the other side.Asian spread on a cart to the Bavarian Grills and Roasts just make this Beer fest brunch worthwhile. Not to forget the pastas and pizza station which was crowded by children for obvious reasons.No Indian cuisine station can be complete without a Biryani and Mutton dish especially in Kolkata and mind it even after trying so many iconic Biryani places in the old city I still loved this Biryani to the core.Desserts or as the Bongs call it sweetly Mishti cant be ignored at all . Indian sweets and Western confectionery to bakeries the list was endless.All in all it was an amazing afternoon amongst foodie friends from Kolkata and its a must visit for Kolkata walas, I bet the spread and service wont disappoint you at all.

Just awesome..We went there to celebrate my 21st birthday..We reserved table for dinner buffet. The price was 1625/- for one AI.The staffs are to much friendly and they really treated their guest very well.To many dishes were there and mostly the dessert counter I loved the most..Mainly Indian, Continental and Chinese they served.. Plz do reserve the tables if you planing for go there,It helps.All over thats a great day and amazing experience.Best birthday ever.Thanks JW Marriott.

Heard a lot about this place and atlast on my birthday Tamaghna De 💖 arranged a beautiful surprise for me at this dream come true place. He pre booked the sunday brunch and also mentioned the special day so that they can arrange a cake also.After entering to the place we were overwhelmed with the ambiance and their hospitality. Each and every corner was perfectly decorated. The outside fountain was also expressing the classy decorum of the hotel. Staffs were really co operative and highly professional. They provided a beautiful private seating arrangement for us.The sunday brunch inclues the buffet with premium alcohol. We Started with the starters and then chats, salads, pasta, indian, chinese, there was also a live chaat counter and chinese counter, at last the dessert platter satisfied us fully. After that I celebrated my birthday with their beautiful handmade chocolate cake.This place made my day with their warm hospitality and delicious foods. Would be visiting soon to try out the other sections of JW MARRIOT.
