Whats in the name? Nothing this time. However the menu is unique and well crafted. Food is served meticulously and decoratively. A casual hangout to 1000 BC never hurt nobody. And no, dont bother the waiter with jokes on history. We tried.

I went for the first time to this place with my friends on a random basis. And to my surprise the place turned our to be great! The food was quite lovely and we enjoyed our visit. The price was reasonable and of youre in a group your perhead price will cost you very less. We ordered Vegetarian food and tried new one like the sizzlerrs and other stuff which were awesome too.

Food is good. Good place for family outing, but it is not a place for fine dining. Staff is very courteous and professional. Valet parking is available.

Very bad experience. Booked a table through Zomato & reached on time. Still had to wait for 45 mins to get the table. The owner also said that they dont entertain bookings from Zomato. The food also took another 30 mins. Space is too cramped. Food quality was good. Need to really work with their service.

Decor is so-so ! Food is real good though and menu is nice and has lots of options. Staff is lousy and music they play can put you to sleep. May be its meant for elderly people who do not like loud music etc..then the place is really nice I guess. Not fun for young people.

It was first time visiting this place and I must say I was impressed.The cheese balls (starters) just burst in your mouth giving you foodgasm. The staff adds more to the experience. They are polite and offer service worth paying for. Worth every dime and a vist again.

Visited the place 2 times till date.. and every time it met my expectations. Very neat and comfortable resto with sofa sittings, washroom is also very clean and hygienic.In this covid situation, they provide sanitizer in the entrance and checked temperature of guests. Food and hookah is value for money and the staffs nicely behaved and are co-operative as well.

Today on 28th Aug 2021 this resturant security and some staff threw me out based on the looks, they pushed me as I tried to enter .... I showed them Identity that I am quite above the legal age of drinking yet they are unapologetic...Yes I look younger than my age .. but they could just ask me to shown me my age proof ..Anyone could create a scene ... And sue them for such an rude and unapologetic behavior ..You cant imagine how bad I felt when I was denied to enter ...They have not trained thier staff members..

I was expecting some old recipe recreated or reinterpreted in modern context. However, it is just another restaurant in park street area offering not so different menu choices.They did not have bar licenses yet. At the time we were only guest in the whole restaurant so I opted for thyme lassi and walnut smoothie. The service was slow. I saw them slowly prepare our drinks while four other waiters watched. The whole thing took almost 30 minutes to reach our table.We liked the drinks but service was very slow hence we did not order meal. No comments for that.Will I repeat? Let’s give them some time to improve service

Just today I had visited this veg restaurant in Park Street. It is located on main road and 1minute walking distance from BBQ Nation,Park Street.It is a fine dine in restaurant, where you can get both pure Indian veg dishes and Indian veg dishes with exotic twists.They have variety in their main course and drinks section.They serve hard drinks and hookahs along with veg cuisine and soft drinks.Staff were friendly, ambience is quite attractive and classy. They do not have separate place for hookahs.I had ordered -In food-Roomali disc,Tandoori Pesto Cauliflower,Kanderi Paneer Tikka,Veg fritters,Schezwan Cheese Fondue(Best),1000 BC Exotic Biryani,In desserts -Cheese Cake Waffle( Recommended)In drinks-Mango Colada(Refreshing) ,Banana Caramel Shake,1000BC Ginger Blast.Food was really good. Their presentation is beautiful. All the three drinks were very refreshing. Banana caramel shake was not too thick not too light in consistency. Mango colada was totally colourful and with jelly.Roomali disc is restaurant version of street papdi chat and it was very much tangy and tempting.Paneer tikka and tandoori cauliflower were delicious and soft, go specially well with green chutney.Biryani here is little unique, it is three layered and three layers are of different colours and made of different ingredients. Biryani was served with raita which was given in a Capsicum, which I really liked.Schezwan Cheese Fondue was with full of veggies and live melting cheese.Waffle in cheese cake waffle was crispy yet soft and served with mango and strawberry jam and choco chips.Overall it was a good experience there. A good place for veg food lovers.

1000 BC is a fine dining restaurant located in the heart of the city of joy . In a place where restaurants and cafes are of plenty , this place stands strong only by serving veg cuisine . The decor has a classy touch . Sitting arrangements are available for around 40 people with comfy sofas and chairs that look spotless . They also have a beautiful looking bar counter . Hookahs are also available here . prices are on the higher side .Although they concentrate only on veg cuisine still they have a wide range of dishes to try out from . I have tried some of their unique preparations as well as few all time classics .Started off with their rumali disc which is basically a very crispy bread with various toppings . It resembles one big portion of papri chat . The toppings were onion,tomato and other veggies which went very well together . I havent seen anything like this prior to this experience.Moving forward to the best cheese fondue I ever had. With decent amount of croutons , french fried, grilled veggis , veg spring rolls this was something very fulfilling to the eyes as well as to the taste buds .Next lets talk about their tandoori pesto cauliflower . 6 bite sized portions of cauliflower marinated in pesto sauce to look green and then grilled inside a tandoor . It was served with a green chutney . A few addition of spices would be preferred as I found it little bland .We also opted for a few moctails which were refreshing and had great balance of sweet .We finished off our meal on a sweet note with their cheesecake waffles , which once again was impressive . Waffles turned into sandwiches with the stuffing of cheesecake , garnished with lots of KitKat , choco chips and colourful sauces . This dessert not only looks stunning but also had a wonderful taste .The service could have been a little faster otherwise staffs are very helpful and efficient .

Few days ago I have visited this place with some of my friends. This restaurant is near parkstreet.. this is a pure veg restaurant. The ambiance was really very soothing and eye catching, comfortable seating arrangement. And the space was pretty good.. They also have a separate bar section, hukkah is available also. Now coming to the food we have ordered•Cheese fondue•Romali disc•1000bc special biriyani•Pizza•Masala Khulcha•Butter Nun•Paneer masala•Dal makhniEach and every dish was very tasty, cheese fondue was my personal favourite. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Hope to revisit soon..

Very poor service. We had a booking for 9:30 and we were waiting outside for the next 10 minutes. After going inside at 9:40pm, we were waiting for our food to be served until 10:30pm.

Located just opposite to Allen park at park street, this place is an awesome destination for  Pure veg dishes. The ambience here is luxurious and they have a bar too. hookah is also available here. now coming to the food we had:-Roomali disc:- Slightly different from papri chaat, but same taste, onions, and tomato with spices and lemon juice over a roomali disc which is crunchy.Tandoori Pesto Cauliflower:- I am not fond of cauliflower, but this tandoori cauliflower with pesto sauce was really awesome.Kandhari Paneer Tikka:-  With minor changes form regular panner tikka this dish was totally mind-blowing, basically the same taste but with little bit of difference.Schezwan Cheese Fondue:- one of the best fondue I have ever had, the presentation was also awesome, the schezwan cheese was superb.1000 BC Exotic Biryani,;- Their signature dish, which was wonderful. The rice was perfectly mixed with different kinds of spices, the best one.In desserts -Cheese Cake Waffle :- wonderfully made. It was really a nice finisher for our meal.In drinks-Mango Colada , Banana Caramel Shake,1000BC Ginger Blast which were perfectly made and the taste was superb.overall a nice experience with the veg dishes at a reasonable price. The service was really good. I will come back soon.

Located in the very posh Camac street it is a pure vegetarian outlet . Ambience is nice,food is kk but not worth the charges and as claimed . The starters were kk and so was the main dishes .A little more work on taste needs to be done .Service is also kk .There is still room for improvement .

1000 BC is very small first of all. You will hardly get a place to click pictures. Apart from this, Staffs are not really good. They are okay. Talking about the food quality and cost per quality. Its comparatively high and quality is average. This place seriously requires guidance and how to treat there customers.

To begin with, staff were very polite and helpful and service was quite fast. It serves multi cuisine and we had tried continental food. Potato soup was a standout new soup we tries that day. The fondue fiesta texmax was classic to taste. The NEAPOLITAN CHEESE surprise pizza did surprise us with its flavor. The place has a lot to offer in its liquid engineering segment which one can try. We had a complimentary strawberry cake made by them at the end with a must have pan shot to end the day. It was a very pleasant experience with food and lovely music in the background to enjoy. Should visit the place if you are vegetarian.

My sister was in Kolkata for a college competition and this was one of the only few places open after the end of her event late at night. The staff was very hospitable and the food was great.She described the whole experience almost too good to be true.
