I would like to share our experience regarding Dr. Bose. My mother had been suffering from rheumatoid arthritis since June 2021. She is a diabetic patient. Considering the positive feedbacks of his diagnosis through the reviews and ratings, we decided to consult Dr. Bose. In July, 2021, he prescribed a wide range of medicines including glucocorticoids also. The inflammation and wrist joint pain vanished overnight. She was comfortable with the treatment for about a month. Towards the end of Aygust, she started suffering from extreme weakness, shortness of breath and palpitations of the heart. As we contacted Dr. Bose, he just suggested to decrease the dosage of insulin. His behavior was very casual. We followed his instructions. There was no improvement in her condition and by the beginning of September, things got worse and we had to consult a cardiologist. Echocardiogram and ECG reports reflected angina and may be arterial blockage which is yet to be confirmed. She never had any history of cardiovascular or related diseases and always had maintained a good health despite being diabetic. I dont know whether the medicines for arthritis, more precisely the steroids had played the devil or not. I would not recommend his consultations any more.

Horrible experience he works for companies ,my mother nearly went to to death bed because of his medication. Money is his only concern. I feel disgust

He is mostly available at Medica Hospital on 5 days a week. Very good doctor and excellent treatment.

He has saved my wife. She had an extremely swollen and inflamed hands and could not eat or hold anything. Under his treatment for last 4 years and now she is almost out of any medicines. The hand are excellent and she can do everything she wants. One of the best rheumatologist in kolkata.

I was thinking of getting diagnosis here. Do sir speak Hindi or only Bengali and English. We dont know Bengali language.

No doubt one of the best in the field. Takes ample time to explain the problem and boosts up lots of confidence. Never hesitates to help the patient , both morally and also by providing options to get cheaper generic medications. Only issue is significant waiting time in the lobby.

No doubt one of the best doctors in Kolkata. My father was suffering from hips and leg problem. He couldnt even stand straight.we have seen him 2-3 local doctors. None could cure him. After seeing the doctor and having the treatment within 24 hours he could stand as before Just like a miracle.

I consulted Dr Bose in late 2016 for my mother in laws long standing rheumatic arthritis. She had consulted many docs before without much result. But Dr Bose has done a wonderful job. She is moving freely without any pain. Moreover, Dr Bose exudes both confidence and kindness. He is highly approachable and has always patiently answered all of our queries. We felt safe in his hands a feeling sadly one doesnt have with many docs these days.

Dr. Tanoy Bose is a cool, compassionate and sensible doctor. He listens to your problems carefully and gives you adequate time, making you feel important, unlike many other professionals who just rush through the crowd. He is technically updated too. Uses a lot of cutting edge technologies for diagnosis and treatment.

May be he is a good doctor but as per my personal opinion he is little inexperience and dedication to profession is not good.My wife (Tumpa Banerjee) has DVT, initially he starts well with the treatment, but after wrong prescribed medicine the patient condition become more worse. I have to consulted with some other Rheumatologist/ Medicine Doctor and finally I came to know that this is not a case for Rhematologist, and due to wrong prescribed medicine by Dr Tonoy Bose the patient condition become worse. Its a case of Cardiologist and he must refer to cardiothoracic surgeon in earlier stage. Dr Tonoy Bose prolonged the treatment and want to keep the patient in his observation.His consultation fees also in higher side (Rs. 800 - 1000) without providing any money receipt. Simply doesnt provide the taxes to the Government.Also he is unavailable for longer duration when the patient situation is critical.I will suggest better to make second opinion with other doctors before continue his treatment process.

Havent seen such a wonderful human being. Under his treatment for my brother for Ank Spons... he is just perfect. The disease is not curable but we are highly satisfied with the results. Best Rgeumatologist in the city no doubt

Hi All,I am not a reviewer in Google or any other portal but I must review this doctor as he is one in a thousand. You would find quite a difficulty in finding a doctor on whom you can bank upon. I consulted him for my diabetes which was quite disturbing since last 4 years. I got a whopping 35 mins of consultation in person at this clinic and I was very satisfied with his clinical acumen and approach.

I can tell only one thing of Dr Tanoy Bose, inspite of being young, his diagnosis is perfect, that too not going for much pathological testes. I wish him best of luck and I vouch that I can trust him in any medical advise as MD

Got to know about this wonderful doctor through internet. My cousin got so critical that some other doctor recommended to cut his leg. But when he went to dr. Bose, he treated him with minimal medicines and now by the grace of ALLAH he is recovering very fast. I sure do recommend dr. Bose to all who need immediate help.

After reading so many positive reviews about Dr. Bose, I took my mother (a chronic artarthritis patient) in March 2018. But i am utterly disappointed and thus writing this unbiased review. Initially the medicines were working fine. However, I found that the reason behind is the steroid content in a particular medicine. I asked Dr. Bose via WhatsApp if it is right to carry on with that medicine. He said it will stop at some point. However, except that steroid medicine, other medicines had no effect on mother despite using them for 20 days, as the doctor suggested. Also, during the appointment he looked disinterested, contrary to what other patients stated here. So, I wonder if most of these reviews are fake or not. Just a guess though. So, people who are about to visit him based on these reviews, think twice. It didnt work well for my mother and I am not confident to revisit. I reiterate that this review is based on my personal experience and there is no intent to misguide anyone. Very disappointed!

I have been looking for a good rheumatologist for long as it is pretty difficult to get a proper consultation at the PG Hospital , Kolkata. At last I found Dr. Bose through one of my contacts who was in extreme praise about him. And indeed the consultation was comprehensive. You leave his office only when you decide to, and until then he is free too answer all your queries. The average consultation time is not less than 30 mins and once I had to wait for an hour for a patient to finish his consultation. Keep plenty of time in your hand if you wish to consult Dr. Bose.Best rheumatologist and by far a good person I have seen so far.

I am quite satisfued with his treatment style. It was a difficult to diagnose case of multiple joint pain and I had consulted many,mostly orthopedicians although but there was hardly any sustained relief. However, Dr. Bose was kind enough to go through all old reports and finally suggested that I must be suffering from a simple case of Rheumatoid Arthritis along with some element of Fibromyalgia. Its a ling treatment but a succesful one. I am still under his care and visit him once in 6 months.

Very much attentive to the needs of the patient. His methods of maintaining data base of each and every patient is unique in a way to trace the treatment history and thus quite effective and he is not shy off on whatsapp to connect when some urgent advice is needed. My mother suffer from Rhumetoid Arthritis. During pain he prescribed paracetamol to be taken everyday for 20 days, when asked what about the problem to liver, he disappeared..He prescribed steroids which worsened my mothers condition.
