Went with my patient for admitting him to the emergency ward since he had two convulsions in 3 hrs post COVID. The junior doctor in the emergency took almost 45 mins to do the formality and then the senior doctor came . After doing few checks he told that APEX does not have the facility to admit such critical patients. We had to take him to other hospital. The main point of concern is in these 45 minutes anything can happen to patients in emergency. Hence not at all happy with the service. Very poor. I guess the hospital management and authorities do not understand the meaning of EMERGENCY. Trained and experienced , professional doctors required in emergency ward..

Staffs need to be well trained to know how to behave with the patient party. They should know that they are not appointed to show their superiority of medical knowledge, but to help the patient and their families. I would not recommend going there unless you need a specific doctor who is not available elsewhere.

Govt hospitals process and treatment is more faster then this whatever... cant consider a building with few stuffs as a hospital, doctors will behave like real state agent. Vry harmful for health n wealth both..

Its services are very poor. The behaviour of nurses and securities are beyond the limit And doctors are not puntual. D group staffs are too lazy.

Had to visit APEX end of January 2020 due to food poisoning. Being from Germany I am used to a very high health standard. The interior was used and old (which is to no suprise in India, where things get used instead of thrown away too soon), but the hospital itself was very clean! At no point I felt frightened because of unhygenical interior and /or staff.Speaking of staff: Leaving the language barrier aside, I felt very well looked after and taken care off. The staff was always very professional, the medication and utensils used where to high standard (my wife works in health care, so we can compare).Doctor Das, who was in charge of me, spoke very good english and always kept me up-to-date to what his plans and actions were with me.And the final medical report / summary is to a grade of detail, which puts every report here in Germany to shame. Every doctor at home I went to was impressed and actually quite suprised about the pre-work done by their collegues in this so called 3rd-world-country.Final resummee: I dont wanna go again. But if i had to choose a hospital in Kolkatta, id always choose APEX.

Doctors in this Institute are only money hungry monsters they dont care about patients health at all

Not so good what I have been thinking but service of nurses and ayas are soso.

My mother COVID+ was admitted to Apex on 21st of May due to her low saturation level. The emergency doctor and nurses immediately took actions and admission procedure was very smooth. My mother had to be given 12 ltrs of oxygen for 2 days each. Slowly she started making progress under the very watchful eye of Doctor Das. He is an amazing person, I was all alone running everyday doing all the needful for my mother after being hospitalised but Dr. Das mentally made me strong with his words. The staff and the nurses took really great care of my mother. I am and forever be grateful to them for taking such good care of my mother for 8 days straight. And for the billing of the hospital, it’s moderately cheap and you get really good service for the amount you pay.

Infrastructure was ok and clean. However, staffs behaviours are really bad. Hate to say this but this medical facility has worst staffs. They are not helpful and most of them has very bad attitude as if they own it. Doctors facility is good but if you are looking for specialist then this is just not the place. Also, its location is a problem. You either have take a Taxi or book a Cab to get there, cause by walking it takes a lot. There are no transport facility available near the hospital. If youre with a patient who cannot walk or have problem walking, then you have to book a vehicle. Several payment methods are available there and they also have TPA (Third Party Administration) facility or Mediclaim Facility. I visited maternity ward and the nurses there was totally rude. However, the caretakers were nice. They do not allow the patient to carry a mobile phone or cellphone, it is strictly prohibited. The bathrooms are clean and cleaning stuffs do their job very well. Though the facility has many draw backs but they give a standard class treatment. They have 24x7 emergency but I doubt that you will find doctors always. Also outoutside the hospital there are no food stalls so you better bring something to eat unless you want walk 500-600metres to Hiland Park. They have a food stall at the entrance of the hospital but the food there is expensive and mostly wasted and taste very bad. Overall I will say that the facility is not up to the mark and I doubt that they can provide advance treatment. For small cases it is ok to go there but for serious cases I personally will not suggest this hospital to anyone.

My father walked on his own to get admitted to initiate dialysis. He was there for entire month, his heart stopped beating on the 31st day morning. The nephrologist Dr. SKB , the neurologist Dr. SB, Dr. Das as well as Dr. Ghosh all were a clueless since the my father was admitted. A total of 15-16 sessions of dialysis was done during the entire period. The patient was unable to eat on his own after the 1st 7 days, continuous dialysis without any proper food or diet. Somehow the disinterested staff (doctors & nurses) gave some try to feed the patient with RT. No one and I mean NO ONE even thought for a single time that dialysis drains out nutrition and the patient need to eat sufficiently to stay alive. He was loosing blood internally and externally. Even the doctors could not identify the root cause for the internal bleeding. Negligence lead to the external bleeding.The moral of the story is that the doctors are basically clueless on the patients condition and they do not care if a patient do not eat proper food even if daily dialysis takes place. My father would have been alive if it was another set of doctors. They are also shameless, as without able to do a proper diagnosis or treatment, their assistants/ staffs do come for the approval signature for the visit charges.

Most horrible Place.... My suggest never think to even visit this hospital...My grandpa got stroke in ICU...doctor even doesn’t know when it happened... his situation is Very pathetic as of now...have to shift in night to another hospital....(to Apex)-If you cant serve after taking huge fees atleast let us know that saving life or providing better treatment is not possible...so, that we will think of any 2nd option, dont keep the family/guardian in a dark room😡

Took admission in day care for a surgical procedure. Its a low budget private hospital. But their staffs are really very good , sisters are very sympathetic towards patients (in female dormitory) .

Worst professional behavior of doctors , kept the patient waiting in spite of the emergency , they simply dont care about the life of patients!

Wish I could rate them negatively. One star is also too much. No professionalism. We lost one of our near one due to their callousness only. Moreover discharge procedure is so pathetic that we could manage to discharge our deceased relative after 40 hours of his death. Pathetic it is.

For orthopaedic issues, its a really good hospital, but else not up to the mark, same like IRIS. And in this covid time they are like doing the greatest business possible, literally robbing the middle class families for unnecessary stuffs.

Totally disappointed with staff behaviour... I can rate doctors 5 out of 5... But apart from that all sections are not even 1 out 5... Discharge process is too much time consuming in this nursing home... You cant even imagine how much you have to wait for discharge.... staffs behaviour of reception,TPA are quite rude... they are just doing this like business they dont have any professionalism and kindness...

Very very very bad experience.. I took my dad there at 3 am night in an emergency, in hopes that they will take good care of him, but they just refused to take patient for silly excuses. It really showed how they are running a BUSINESS without any oath for the wellbeing for the patients. They simply wont take a patient if they think the patient can deteriorate.

This institute should be renamed as Apex institute of deceit and trickery. The directors and the doctors should sit back and recall their oath and decide whether they want to run a money making machine in disguise of a hospital or establish themselves as a leading medical institution.Advising physiotherapy for an 88 year old woman who hasnt walked in past 4 years, just to add thousands of Rupees to the bill is rather shameful for doctors and the management. Please be prepared for legal repercussions in the near future.

Apex hospital is a private hospital located in southern Kolkata. Over these years it is surviving many patient in the south 24 parganas. The treatment quality and doctors are very good. Though many mishaps happen in past years but still the popularity is not going down. It has a emergency service available 24 hours. The Hospital is also within a few Kilometers from famous hospitals like Peerless hospital and Ruby hospital.There is also a pharmacy counter which is not open 24 hours. The security guards are there even at late night, so It is a very secure place too.

Good Hospital with good doctors and staff. The most important part is charges are much lower than so called renowned Hospitals. My best wishes to this hospital for the middle class families.

One star for location+clean OPD2nd star for ac and TV availability!My review is more about the OPD facility than anything else. The OPD working method is extremely unprofessional! I dont know if its the administration or the employee themselves! Let me tell you why.I had to consult my doctor there and for that I called the apex centre in the morning and informed them that I need to have appointment. (Appointment is adviced in their sheets) so for that I went from Durgapur for checkup! The lady who recieved the call asked my name, contact number and heard them wrong so I ensured they note down these details correctly! Upon reaching there I made my appointment reciept and came to know my number is 7th. I asked them how it is since I reached there only 5 mins late to scheduled time(doc had not yet arrived) and given that I called up in the morning and booked appointment. They said that they make the order on first come first serve basis and the phone call is irrelevant! I asked them then why they note down name and numbers and they had no answer. They said they told me this on the phone and I told them no such talk took place! The lady simply said it is unfortunate!Wow administration! Slow claps!! This was definitely the last time I go there. I went there after 2 years because of a similar experience! They confirmed that they are still the same group of unprofessional people.

5th floor Staff, nurse behavior is very bad.. itna paisa leta hai fir v nurse ghatia behavior karti hai. Doctors jo karne ko bolte hai nurse logo ko wo to karti tak nehi. Jab mariz ke ghar wale yeah baat nurse logo ko batati hai tab ye log apni galti chupane key liye mariz ke ghar walo ke naam pe anabsanab doctor ko kahiti hai. Apex Naam mein hai dum hai baki bakwas hai.. ache quality ke nurse rakho. Mariz hai isliye apex hai aise ghatia behavior rahega to makhi tak nehi ayega age se apex mein.
