Worst doctor ever seen. consulted him 2 yrs ago for hemoptysis. On first day, he suspected it as TB though I repeatedly told that I had never fever or cough. After CT SCAN, he was sure about TB. Immediate after bronchoscopy,he prescribed for Acurit4, the famous TB medicine, without waiting for MTB culture report. After 7 days, the report became negative. But he insisted on continuation of medicine saying that AFB culture report wouldbe sure for MTB + as he had 33 yrs of experience. After 6 week, AFB culture report became + for Non TB Mycobacterium whose medicine is different. On viewing the report, doctor smartly shrugged off responsibility and referred me to a pulmonologist of Chennai Apollo. meanwhile I took TB medicine for 45 days. The side affect took a toll on me, still suffering. Thanks doctor.

Sadly,my view is little different from others commented here. I am taking his consultation since 2011, he is a very good physician. Initially, I was suffering from bronchial asthma but now, almost cured ☺️ so, my suggestion would be have patience, follow his suggestion and dont solely dependent upon medicine, do some exercise alternatively..try to stay fit and healthy -- Sudeshna

I had got my wife checked for tubercular lymphadenitis,. When her tubercular lymph started to cure, it got little blackened. To this he referred to some fraudcalcutta maxillofacial to get the lymph gland out. We went there they said to have an MRI for Rs 20000 and Rs 60000 will be charged for taking the gland out. But fortunately my brother in law was a MR in medicine company. I opened to him about my wifes ailment which i had hidden and he straight away said that doctor Ashok Sengupta is a fraud and the lymph gland will heal anyway slowly without taking out. God only knows what else organ they would have taken out. Dr Ashok Sengupta is a complete CHEATER, FRAUD, having no moral,. He will RUIN AND TAKE YOUR LIFE in order to earn money. I just escaped his trap, but many of them might not have been that lucky.

Horrible person,bad behaviour and the way he talk to patients is unacceptable. If negative star could be given I would have given that. I suggest not to visit him,he is greedy and commercial.

Dr.Ashok sengupta is one of the worst doctors we have ever met in our entire life..He is least interested about the patients..He is an opinionated,arrogant and conceited doctor..Today ma MAA had an appointment with him. His fee is 900 but he has several assistants.In total we paid around 1500 .But the doctor barely granted 2 minutes for us.yes!! Im using the word granted consciously!!I dont know what does he think about himself!! But he didnt even listen to my Maas case history.He was not even answering my Maas queries regarding further treatments properly!! Just waste of time n money!! Nothing else! I would never thist doctor to anybody! He is just like other money sucker doctors out there! Just stay away from him!

Please do not consult this particular doctor...He is an extremely rude doctor and he thinks that he is doing a charity to his patients...He lacks generosity...He is an arrogant person and loves money..I thought of complaining against him to the west bengal medical department as he was extremely rude to my mother..Moreover his assistant is a dirty person and half of the time he stammers...Dear doctor...Please mend yourself...You never know when your own karma will hit you back..
