Nice and maintained auditorium. Enough space and airy.

The place is great for small or big performances, concerts. I have personally performed there, have watched performances there. The hall can accomodate around 600 people in average, the number may be more. The hall has 4 dressing rooms, has working A.C. The sound system and lightings are good too

Nice auditorium.. Large space... For any type of functions it is very suitable and convenient. It is situated near the dumdum station. Transport services are available... Quite good and nice...

Very good hall. And no doubt about the sound system.. but the basement is messy. Not good for food serving. Except the basement otherwise the whole hall is more than good..toilets are clean and clear. Provides the car parking for few cars although...back stage and green rooms are so good

Very comforting and good hall for school and college programs or any other events. The toilet was not good, after a time the water stopped coming which was really disgusting. And also the hall is not that big.

A very good auditorium at Paikpara. There is a small auditorium at ground floor with limited sitting arrangement and the main auditorium is at the 1st floor with good sound system, good sitting arrangement and green rooms.

Good for plays and all. And okay for Rock concerts. Maintainance should be improved.

Auditorium suitable for 80-100 people and small gatherings. Public transport aint available so from BT road,its a 10min walk or a car/bike will be more convenient. Liked the ambiance

This is one of the best theatre halls. It has got 2 auditoriums.The smaller one is on the ground floor, perfect for small events suitable for lesser audience.The main auditorium is huge, has balcony seating arrangement and amazing Bose sound system.Ive performed in there numerous time and every time my experience was great..If you are not too picky about the greenroom then its perfect. Of course not as maintained as the Rabindra Sadan greenroom..Ill point out the flaws for the concerned authorities :1. One Greenrooms window was broken.2. Lightman demanded Rs.7000 extra when approached for show personalised lightening..But these kind of problems are faced everywhere. Overall in my experience the hall is highly recommend.

State Govt. Maintained auditorium. Has got very good facilities, sitting arrangements and BOSE sound system.BUT THE STAFF AND SOUND ENGINEERS ARE HORRIBLY ILL-MANNERED. They will purposefully disrupt and not give you proper sound control if you do not hire external sound system through them.(Please press the LIKE button after reading this)

Its a huge hall. Seats are good stage is good, fully air conditioned. Changing room is very good you get four changing rooms.lights are good. Curtains are not that good but not that bad also. Sound is just awesome. Overall its a decent place . Walking distance from metro

The Theatre Hall is located in a proper place, you can reach there by bus. The theatre Hall is capable for 400-450 people gathering. The rent is about ₹17k/- . Hall is fully air-conditioned.

We went there for a job fair conducted by our training institution. The location is very good and far from heavy traffic. The interior has centralised Air conditioning system. Suitable for small to medium-sized concerts and seminars. Seats are very comfortable and clean. Interior is very clean and fresh. Toilets are also very neat and clean.

Front and back stage and auditorium is clean and well maintained. Hall acoustic is good. 4 Dressing room help the artist to prepare on time.

Less space for parking, roadside parking available...I hate the balcony section as its too high and stage is not at all clearly visible, and odd design...ac works good.. hall is clean, with comfortable chairs...its ok, but not the best...

Basically a grand hall room for organizing various programmes......good seating arrangement ...it has different entrance on different floors for the hall room....so it may not make any problem on entry time...also has a balcony space with few seats and a big stage with proper settings

Its a very nice hall with very fine acoustic system, and well maintained. The local people can witness many beautiful and useful programs for having such a Mancha in the area.It is suggested that some sort of publicity may be made by putting posters or banners in Paikpara crossing near Tala Park, so that local public may be aware of the important programs and get the benefit of enjoying the same.

It is a cultural function building.there are two auditorium. One in ground floor which is small. Other one is normal specious hall. Sound quality also good. It is very near to paikpara.

A Very Good Programs Hall

My college social was performed here and I personally performed too. The hall is air-conditioning with really great changing rooms. Clean washroom for performers, great sitting arrangements backstage and of course for audiences. Lighting and microphone service is also good for any kind of show.

A very nice auditorium with a less crowd capacity of 1000+ but might be less than 2000. Sound systems are good and loud with BOSE speakers. But lacks staffs and have to help yourself while organising any sort of function at this venue.

Overall, a well maintained auditorium for theatre and other cultural programs, supervised by Kolkata Municipal Corporation. Very few theatre halls in north kolkata can match its level. Not so many halls have this kind of acoustic sound quality. Stage and greenrooms are above average. However, bathrooms should be more clean. Staffs are moderately cooperative. Only a single minus point is dragging Mohit Maitra Mancha back. The public vehicle facility is quite poor there.

Well equipped, but very poorly maintained. Having a small car parking place inside, which is good. But it can keep around 10 cars fort come first serve basis. Inside the hall every where we can see dust, which proves it is not maintained properly.

Really amazing, spacious hall within close proximate of Kolkata. The Sound system available of Boss, lighting excellent, modern seat arrangement. Offering ticketing rooms, refreshment facilities, wash rooms, lifts. Ground floor is offering workshop facilities for music, dance etc. Green is excellent.

Hall is managed by KMC . Low cost rent, ample of parking space. Good interior & AC. however toilets, inner cleanliness are poor. Expecting improvements.

A good hall at start, but as happens with all municipal corporation properties, its not well maintained. The restrooms smell like dipping your nose into a bucket full of pure ammonia. The auditorium is still decent and kicking. They should really maintain their properties.

This hall is located in Lake Town. Its a long and wide hall which can hold a huge crowd in it. It has Air Condition (AC) facility and other projection facilities as well. The toilet is clean and maintained unlike other street toilet hence making easy for people to relief if they felt the need for it. The staff are helpful,humble and co-ordinative.

Mohit Moitra Moncha is well known auditorium around Shyambazar. This place is easily accessible from sealdah, Barrachpore or Howrah as it is close to Shyambazar. The auditorium is in the 2nd floor. It has cosy sitting arrangement and brilliant stage.

A small but well decorated hall at north Kolkata. The newly arranged sound system is good enough. But the seating arrangements are poor. This information is of ground floored hall. Urinals & toilets are very bad in condition. From outside its good.
