It is ok. For competitive exams it is better to take metro. Nearest is Shyambazar Metro, gate no 3 is the nearest. From others gate, you have to walk for 10 minutes at least.

Very near to Shambazar five points crossing, near to river Ganges, well connected thru bus, metro and all types of public transport, a very popular place in north kolkata

Disgusting atmosphere, too much bad smell and dust, went there to give an exam, we had to put our bags on the ground, the toilets were very dirty.

Good place. Communication is good. Flower mela take place on Sundays at Ghaliv street on tram line. Many things let you go in nostalgic north Kolkata.

Overall good polytechnic institute in baghbazar area. Its also offer the vocational training courses this is best opportunity for High school and higher secondary school boys and girls to do any courses and training with job training. Those students who are not able to do higher education they can joined this institute and get certificate for the courses in polytechnics. Good opportunity for those students who are not able to go higher education.

Its my school ❤️. The school days are the best days of my life. I clearly remember that . The MAHARAJA COSSIMBAZAR POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE , was founded on 1916 . Its situated at 3 NO , NANDALAL BOSE LANE , KOLKATA -700003 . Near bus stoppages are Bagbazar Bata from sealdah and Dunlop and Bagbazar stoppage from Esplaned or Dharmatala . Near railway station name is Bagbazar . Near ferry ghat name is bagbazar also .

From baghbazar BATA stoppage its 10 minutes away. If you take train, its 7 minutes away from the station (dumdum line). Just opposite of a sweet shop, named kalika. The place is okay..needs improvement.
