Nice and peaceful place. Before this place is named and femous as Subhasgram the name was changripota . This station is named by the name of netaji as his ancestral house is situated in this locality. though the place was enlisted as Subhas Gram in railway documents,but grammatically it should be entitled as Subhasgram. Recently on station board i observed the spelling has changed.thanks.but in documents,it should have to be changed.the new arrival is a water booth at 1 number platform beside ticket counter.yet thats not for 24 hrs service for us.

Subhashgram is a neighbourhood in the Rajpur Sonarpur of the South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is a part of the area covered by the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority

The station is the lifeline of the place. It is where i do usually visit a lot. There are many seats and a shed to protect you in times of afternoon or rain.

We all know that the just before and after stations of any junction are always a example of negligence. Subhashgram is to some extent this kind of. Lack of customer made this. Because the next station is Sonarpur and maximum people try to be there as it has more trains. However it has drinking water and toilet. So overall its a well conditioned station. All Sealdah south suburban trains run here except Budge-Budge, Canning, Champahati, Ghutiari Sharif and Sonarpur Local.

Clean railway station

Not cleaned and proper announcement of arrival of train is also not mentained. Digital ticket generator is also off and only 1 counter hardly 2 is open during rush hours.

Station is not clean and its a messy place. Govt should highlight on this place..

Pros:Height and Length of platform good.Stalls are available as well as vendors sit with vegetables and fruits.Frequent trains during peek hours.Cons:Only a minor part of the platform is covered with shade.Toilets are useless. U may get infection if you pee there.

Good railway station (Sealdah south section, between Mallickpur and Sonarpur railway station). If you want to go Baruipur Polytechnic College, u can go from this station.It is a good place with all facilities.

Subhas gram station is a small station in the Sealdah south section of the Sealdah Diamond Harbor, Sealdah Namkhana and Sealdah Lakhmikantapur section. Nice place and developed far. Before and also my hometown

Residing here more than 59 years. Lot of development of the Rly. Station and the locality have been taken over during these days. Still it deserves lot more development considering the highest density of population during past few years. Rly. Station needs to expand the shades on both side of the platform as well as the hight of platform needs at per with foot space of of the train and is the need of the time to address the situation considering the passengers in general and children & senior citizens in particular.

Historical station, day by day it is becoming more crowded station after two junction stations like sonarpur and ballygunge. Inspite of that more development needed. Need more shades, more sit, good toilet. Most important train announcement.
