MORE Retail Limited, earlier known as Aditya Birla Retail Limited, was founded by Kumar Mangalam Birla in 2007. It is the fourth largest supermarket chain in India, after Future Group, Reliance Retail and D-Mart. One of its outlets is nestled in Serampore, near Ballavpur High School at De Street. We recently visited this place and were astonished by the range of products they sell. From fruits like kiwi, dragon fruit, berries to various grocery items, they have a host of products to purvey and that too at competitive prices. You will find rarest commodities in family packs. The workers are polite and helpful. You can pay the bills by cards or by cash. Since I am very fond of spaghetti, I bought three large spaghetti packs from this outlet which cost ₹ 460. Very less than that of regular grocery shops. They also offer vegetables and I have tried them. But to be honest, you will get more fresh vegetables in the market. There is a large collection of beverages in affordable price. The place is very well connected with the rest of the city by electric rickshaws. The only disadvantage is the paucity of space. The shop stays open from half past seven in the morning to nine thirty in the evening. I highly recommend this store to all my friends.

Service quality is too bad..just 1 person in billing counter..we wait 30 minutes for billing just a bad experience..this is only for serampore more shopping mall..and the person who is in the billing counter she is too slow..she cant handle the customer properly..

Its a crammed space with confused shelf arrangement and poorly staffed store. The employee are mostly non responsive to customer needs.

Small but good market for special frozen items like peas, basa fillets etc

Everything is cheaper than other shop of the city... Specially Cold Drinks and Ice Cream are very cheapest... Nice collection of ice cream...

Convenient location. Staffs r polite & helpful. All kinds of daily usage products like r available here. Fresh vegetables can also be bought from this store. They give lots of discounts on products.Payment can be done via cash, card etc. Carry your own bags for purchasing. Only downside: its a very small store.

Even though the space is kinda cramped, they managed to keep many items. Ofcourse the exotic items are a bit lower in stock but that will never be an issue.

Product availability is good.But sometimes billing section is very slow.most of d time 1 or 2 counter closed.so u have to wait 10-15 mins for billing.

Need to upgrade, customer friendly staff required, most of the time only one billing counter active, need to look into this

Found WD40 in this store. Rest you can imagine what they keep for you to sale.

This place has a great stock of grocery items . Many commodities are available in large packets which are not available elsewhere . It has its own range of products which are often cheaper and great . Many fruits not found in the open market are found here like kiwi , dragonfruit , etc . Vegetables are most of the time not fresh , its better to buy vegetables from outside . They do offer great discounts on different item everyday. The staffs are very helpful. You can visit this shop for a hassle free grocery shopping .

Big bazar is better than more

This has happened to me twice. When I came to get the offer material for the bill, they said there is no such offer.

Local grocery shop. You will find most of the daily required items, if you are an outsider and not aware of good kirana shop or dont know which one to choose then this is the best choice. Stuffs are good and helpful. Closing time is 9 pm but you may find it open till 10 pm

Nice place for your daily shopping needs they have lots of product in their stocks like snacks cold drinks cooking oil rice soaps razor creme...etc the widely accept lots of payment methods from cash to card and some wallet too..but one issue I found with them was they have a very short space to operate their shop racks are so close together two people cant walk between them in a moment otherwise everything is perfect

Always as good as more. Happy to see More Super market here as I come from a different area. May be the pricing is high and it can be bring down a bit. So that it could give a real competition to the other shops here. Hope they see and do the favour..

Good it was. I would have appreciated if they had kept more varity and stock. Maybe a limited space is the constraint , but good to see the localites have accepted department al stores and contributing towards building a new Serampore. Great going.

Good availability of Groceries. Often gives offers on different products. It is easy to access. Located in Dey street neat Batala, Serampore. Most of the people love collect their grocery for the entire month from here.

Users friendly

This grocery mall is situated at Dey Street, near Kalinath Bhattacharya street crossing. Though it keeps reasonably good items at good price, but the location is not favourable. Moreover, there is no dedicated parking lot outside this mall. So this is not a popular shopping spot for Serampore people.
