Ita a small railway station right between Sonarpur and garia station!This stations ticket counter still uses that old card board ticket !Though its a small station and few train doesnt wait/ stop here but its a beautiful and quiet station!

Its an infamous halt railway station in between Sonarpur and garia station in Southern railway . There is a rumour that maximum of train Dont stop here but its half true. Only 5-6 train dont stop at a day including galopin. And i clear one doubt that you cant get any better route to go Narendrapur Ramkrishna mission at all . Public toilets condition is very worse here. It has that old card tickets as i gave it in pictures. There are two bazar beside the station and many rice hotel on the station. Very recently we can see police during night , but this place is totally safe . though transport system is very poor, only auto route goes to Sonarpur .

A small and quite station in sealdah south section after Garia and before Sonarpur. This station has two platforms.There are many trees around the station.Environment of this station is also good.All good but this station is not so clean.Very few people travel from here everyday.

This station is named on Swami Vivekananda whose real name is Narendra Nath Datta. This station is situated between Garia and Sonarpur Junction. Not every train stop here. Please take a look if you want to go to narendrapur halt. Be sure that the train, you avail, stops at narendrapur halt.

As its a halt station it has some basic things like a washroom some little benches for seating. Half of the station is occupied by the illegal hawkers. Most of the trains in South section stops here ,except the fast once. Connectivity by road is very poor. It is really difficult to reach there from proper narendrapur.

It is a very good station in the sence of location because you will not find any other transport to go to anywhere of the kolkata city, so if you want to go any place train is the only way to reach your destination from here. Generally all trains are stop here except few like one Baruipur local one or two canning local and two or three other. In earlier time approx 3 to 4 years ago many trains were not stopped here but nowadays things are changing. The market which is connected to the narendrapur railway station is also improved. One Axis Bank ATM is also present next to the ticket counter. If you want to catch a train you have to wait for maximum 15 to 20 minutes except sunday. No ticket checkers are there and it has a speciality which is you can find the old rectangular hard paper ticket from the ticket counter.

It is halt station in sealdah South devision. similar to other station of South devision.. every local train arrives here but not fast locals.still use punch tickets..if any one want to go narandrapur ramakrishna mission this station is not nearby, better arrive to sonarpur.

Similar to other stations in Sealdah South Division , it is relatively small to other. Not all trains stop here but most do, check with timetable before you get on.Not express train reservation counter, still uses punch tickets. Another important , do not mismatch this station with Narendrapur Ramkrishna mission , it is nowhere nearby. Better to get of at Sonarpur , and take a auto to Greebpark and you can walk from there to the Mission.

I really dont know why this station has been built .very poorly linked to main parts of the sorrounding areas. If you avail train its very difficult to reach narendrapur or nsc nose road

Narendrapur Railway Station is no more a bad area. Now almost 99% trains stop here. Further the Auto stand for Sonarpur Station is fully operational. every 5-7 minutes you will get auto. Being in the main sealdah south line one can have all the trains including 6 sonarpur locals which are comfortable to travel.further Narendrapur is just 5 min. far from getting access to 2 different metro route dumdum and airtport via newtown. No other station, area in kolkata can give you this access other than central metro station.it is 5 min. away (after Garia) from accessing Estern Metropolitan Bypass.Here you will get fresh vegetables and different types of fish, mutton chicken and all other house hold goods, medical and other services at a very cheep rate which i have experienced no where.still you can have a plot of land in this area with all this facilities, which is gradually getting filled up. Water logging is a temporary problem which will not last after 2-3 years since the new pump house is being constructed.you can access north point and south point of kolkata only at Rs. 5? you can access from Narendrapur.it is near to kolkata, door for south area, cheep, peaceful. What more do you need?

Sealdah is a halt station on the southern branch. Although thousands of people commute from this station to work for the whole day, not all trains stop at this station as it is a halt station. Although the station was built for the Narendrapur area, in fact Narendrapur is at least 3 km from this station. The water service at the station is not good.
