As per my knowledge, theres only one ice cream parlor in Serampore, and thats Penguin. And therefore comparing it to other places in Serampore is not possible.

The place is good. Ideal place to chill with a few friends. Owner is cordial. However since its not too spacious after you are done with your order you wont be to sit for long. Ice cream recipes are very good. But the milk shakes tend to be too sweet. Prices are kkay as per quality.

Lovely, air conditioned place where you can visit with your better half or with your family. The ice-creams and shakes are delicious. ❤

Very bad quality of ice-cream... the ice cream was fully melted and became a liquid syrup.the behavior of the shop keeper is very arrogant and very bad thing is that when we said the shop keeper to switch on the AC at the noon in summer he said he cant. because we are the only customers.. no others are not present there.. so are we not the customers?? very very exhausted ambience without ac.. very very bad experience.. please keep stay away from penguin..

One of the best ice cream parlours.You totally get what you pay.The only drawback is the sitting tools.They are kind of unstable and weak.But overall it is a great place for lovers and first dates.The owner is very friendly and you can change any show on tv by telling him.I also asked many times for more choco chips and chocolate syrup and he gave it smiling.Utensils are clean too.
