Food ordered for 7pm arrived around 8pm after three phone calls to be told they were outside and phone put down, arrived fifteen minutes later. Lovely food but cold. Wont be using again.

Amazing Tandoori style food. The most flavour and quality Indian foods on their menu. Definately worth a visit. I prefer to eat in as the food is at its best then,but they also do takeaways and deliveries. My favourite Indian restaurant in Dover.

I had a takeaway last night and I cannot say how dissatisfied I was with our meal. We had one starter instead of 2. The one we did have normal comes with lemon but was just a very skinny dish with hardly any prawns. The main dishes we ordered were also disappointing they were watery and again not up to the usual standard. We also had a wrong main dish. The Raj has always delivered in my expectations but I’m very sorry to say this was probably the worst Indian meal I have eaten.

Extensive menu and all meals cooked fresh to order. Staff polite and friendly. Plenty of space for larger groups. Six of us had an excellent evening, and not for the first time either. Highly recommended.

While the restaurant has good parking space and also good ambience. In case you are looking for true Indian food then this is not right place. Low on spices which could be due to local customer need. Decent food portions.

Today we visited this restaurant on the way back from the Dover.while we are driving suddenly we saw this restaurant and stop here to eat some food .it was clean and nice restaurant couple of table was occupied the waiter great us nice and professionally. We ordered king prawn puree,kingprwan butterfly as a starter it was really good taste and full of flavour. Main we order chicken tikka biryani along with tarkadal and salmon fish jalfrezi along with pilau rice and side we order Matar paneer spicy. Really tasty food .i would say if I visited near future kent I will be come to this restaurant for food.

Ordered a Vegetable Jalfrazi and two Garlic naans from this restaurant for take away (as dine-in wasnt available) while we were visiting Dover. The food was ready quickly and hot, which was very good. The naans were fluffy and delicious, but the curry was disappointing. While the curry tasted good, it was mainly onions instead of vegetables. I would say almost 50% of the curry was onions, which was excessive. It would have been nice if the curry was mainly vegetables. The prices were very affordable, so cant complain on that front.

The food and service has a lot to improve.The chicken butter masala was the worst I have ever tasted. It tasted like gajjar Ka halwa n chicken curry. I can understand the food being less spicy but a curry tasting like a desert was a bit much.We got butter nan instead of poori ....The staff were overstressed and food not up to the mark

Went with the wife and 3 kids, had a variety of mains and sides and all were tasty and delicious, couldn’t fault any of it from the service to the food. All was top notch even though they were really busy on one of the “eat out to help out” nights. Keep up the good work, will definitely be back again

Friendly staff and great food. We couldnt find anywhere open on a Sunday on our camping trip and found this little life saver. Both me and my partner really enjoyed our meals and were very happy with the service. If I ever go on holiday to the south coast again I would happily return.

This restaurant is the best indian restaurant I have ever been too. Very well priced food and drinks, and the staff are very nice and polite.

Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. Food was very reasonably priced and enjoyed a meal with drinks for just over £40. Wish this restaurant was nearer to home! Well done to them all.

We visited this place for the first time for our anniversary. The food was delicious the staff were very attentive and polite and the restaurant itself is clean and well presented. We will definitely go back

Great staff, great food. Probably the only place I have never had a wrong order from. Plus the flavours are something you can taste and not be overpowered by.

Consistently accommodating and coeliac safe. The staff have a good understanding of the relevant issues and are careful to keep you safe. Expect calm discussion between staff about ingredients rather than the shifty worried exchanges youllysee at many other restaurants. Also, the food is excellent, always.

Ordered and paid for a takeaway to be collected but no indication of how long it would take or anything about contact when it is ready. Waited for nearly an hour and decided to go and pick up. It was ready and not hot so seemed like it had been sitting there for a while. Ordering system is ok but need to inform customers when food is ready. Food is ok but not as good as the many Indian restaurants in the Portsmouth area where I live.

Ordered online on their website for delivery. Great food, friendly delivery driver. Huge menu to choose from. Usually eat in as we like the restaurant but will order online again.

Service: we had booked a table was asked 7 times if we had booked and was looked at as if we were scamming them out of a table, my friend was given a dirty plate, the waiter came to give us hot plates and burnt my husband arm, when ordering our main the waiter kept shaking his head as if we were saying the dishes wrong.Food: quiet bland food not the sort of spice and flavours you would expect from an Indian. Sauces tasted watered down.General: there isnt a Indian restaurant feel to the place, its a little run down could do with a spruce up. The napkins were torn and stained.We wont be going again.

Awful place......group of 14 booked with children. When we got there waited over 2 hours for starters then one of them was missing . Kids where complaining as they had waited over two hours for food. When a member of my family asked where food was the waiter stood smiling at him laughing. When my friends starter came out it was half cooked and raw in center. We ended up walking out!!!! Horrendous place.

Food was lovely however upon paying the bill they insisted we had not paid the full amount. Considering we checked three times aswell as including a tip, to our suprise the waiter came back ,after taking the money away , insisting it was not all there. We went to the desk and counted what they had however all we paid was not the total they amount of money they had meaning we had to pay extra and included another tip.

Ordered online called after an hour of waiting to be told they hadnt recieved the order. Placed the order again after a further half hour of waiting our meals arrived. Food was good although a little cold. Think had we not had the waiting problem and a semi warm meal would have given a 5 ☆ rating

This evening we collected a meal for three, it was appalling, I live three minutes away it was barely warm and of a very poor quality.I suspect it was not freshly cooked, it was expensive for what we got, the chicken was tuff and the peshwari nan were burnt, the onion Bhaji were the worst we have ever had.I will not be using this Tandoori Restaurant again, shame on you .William

Ordered online & after waiting an hour I phoned up only to be told they didnt have my order. When I requested a refund they miraculously found it! Waited another half an hour for it to arrive only to be disapointed at the quality. Watery, tasteless & naan/poppadums horrible.
