The Mitali Fashion Shop is a traditional family business. The operators, the Indian Chatterjee family, are all very, very amiable and authentic. They are happy to advise, as the selection of fragrances (incense sticks, body oils, etc.) and types of tea is immense. There is also impressive decoration (Indian deities, masks, dream catchers, wall cloths, etc.) as well as jewelry (amulets, rings, earrings). There is also an excellent selection of clothing in hippie, Goa and alternative styles. The prices are cheap and reasonable. The store has been located on Marktstrasse for over 40 years. My first visit was there before the turn of the millennium, at the time of the Goa festivals. In the cellar, nostalgic memories are awakened for me by the cloths on display, the black light and the subtle Goa trance. A visit on site is highly recommended, even if online ordering is also possible! The next time I visit Hamburg I will definitely come back there ...

Great Indian shop with an incredible variety of decorations, jewelry, clothing and knick-knacks. Very nice operator and cool Goa cellar with lots of towels and blankets. If you are already in Hamburg, you should treat yourself to the shop!

This shop was a real experience for us. We came from Bremen because unfortunately there are no such shops here. And it was worth it.If you want to see everything you need time. We stayed there for about 1.5 hours.

I was there for the last time 26 years ago and today again. Im fascinated by the abundance of the range.Even more I liked the loving nature of the shopkeepers. Great people with a lot of heart.There are beautiful clothing, scarves, incense sticks, bags, jewelry and much more.Its worth a visit.I will not wait so long this time and visit the store again soon.

I wanted to buy a cloth, which was apparently impossible, despite there is a huge selection in the basement. But the seller was constantly busy with online chat and had no time for me. After more than 10 minutes waiting for him then I left. Too bad that I had to do this experience there and online chat goes in front of the customers. Because actually it is a very nice shop.

My favorite shop, lots of choice!

The store smooches, all confusing the staff hardly understands German, very dusty and hardly any air in the store. For those who sell there the prices are much too high, you can buy the same at GUCCI A nuclear cleaning would not be bad The quality for the price, I think not in order, just rip off, where you online everything much cheaper and gets a better quality and can also send it back to someone who does not like it and does not have to justify it would prefer not to give a star that unfortunately does not work, in no case recommends anyone else, shop rather online or elsewhere.
