A good place buy books along with others things. You can certainly pay visit during your transit or if you have time during your flights. It will definitely make your day better.

This is absolutely fraud company. They took my 350 rupees payment via gpay at Kolkata airport. And payment was successful also. But they told me payment wasnt successful. I emailed, contact them a lot of time. And they still ignoring my problem. They fraud me dont buy anything

Currently it is operative with 2 staff employees. Since Im a frequent traveler I often stroll along the aisle of this store. Currently they are frequently sanitizing and showing good hospitality.

They are cheaters as they charged me twice. On 8 Oct I purchased Snikers pack and big carry bag and paid 1010 rs. I gave my card for the payment. First they tried and said payment not received second time they showed me its successful. I checked my account statement today where I got to know the debit has been done twice. Any contact number of them if some one can share. I planning a legal case against them.

My go to place to pick up a book and pack of Trident for in-flight reading. This is one British brand I dont mind endorsing. Book choices are a bit limited here but look fwd to finding Richard and Judys book club picks here.

They dont have a good verity but the one they have are good for traveling. They dont have chairs where you can sit and read before making a decision to buy one. Staff was not friendly but not rude either. They do have some amazing postcards which you can buy as a memory. In all. Just like any other airport shop.

Absolutely terrible experience. There was a big stall saying buy one get one half price on books. Some of the books on this stall had yellow stickers saying buy one get one half price, others did not. I picked up four books from this pile, 2 of which had stickers, 2 of which did not. Funnily enough, the books without the promotional stickers were included in the promotion, and the 2 with stickers were still full price. After politely trying to explain that it is their mistake if they have mislabelled a significant proportion of the books, the man serving me became aggressive and claimed there was nothing he could do. He refused to call his manager for some time, and refused to acknowledge his mistake. He finally called his manager, who was equally as unhelpful. I paid full price for the books that’s shouldve been included in the promotion. I explained politely that for the sake of other customers, he should remove the misleading labels and reorganise the stall, as there was no way of knowing whether a book was included or not in the promotion. My suggestion was first addressed with ignorance, and then rudeness, and not once was an apology given. Absolutely dreadful.

The staff here it seems has no knowledge about anything. They are only gossiping amongst themselves. Paytm service is accepted However the people at the counter said I dont have wallet balance when I had sufficient balance reflecting on the screen. On asking for a solution they were looking for an employee who could solve this issue but that person was nowhere to be found and the people at the counters had no idea of how to use or solve this issue. I ultimately ended up not purchasing what I wanted.

I was trying to do online transaction for a product i purchased. But transaction failed so i paid cash. Aftr 10 mins i received a msg of succesful transaction. So i went back to collect the amount. They asked to mail the details. I did that even called them 15-20 times. Still not received my money back. They dont even bother to reply the mails.

Its not only book store, rather its a multistore with branded and high priced items. A lots of things are available here, such as books, soft toys, dolls,toys, chocolates,chips,cakes, biscuits, cosmetics, juices and drinks, cakes, home decorating items etc.There is no cheap items, chocolate price starts from rs.100. So get things at best price.

Theyve got a good assortment of items ranging from dry fruit to headphones that will keep you busy at the airport and during your flight... I dont know why theyve discontinued keeping twix and bounty chocolates. They were my constant... Its a grab and go place at the airport..

I was looking for some bengali book in Kolkata airport counter but unfortunately there is no collection of any bengali book.WHSmith should keep some regional book to promote regional culture and provide customer a wide variety of books

Nice shop with things a traveller might need after a flight. Quite like any other airport shop.What makes me give it 5 stars though is that the staff at NSCBI arrivals held on to a duty free purchase I left at their store and returned it when I made enquiries 5 days after I left it.I am sure they would have called to inform me if they had my number.Sayantan and team, you guys are incredible!!

If you missed buying books for a trip try their wide ranging collection. At times some publications of old stock is offered at discounted prices ranging from 10% to 50% but these are mostly clearance sale of unsold stocks. Books here at many times more pricey than outside the simple reason being the high rent paid for leasing space at Indian airports like many other countries.

Its a very nice book store where u can find all the books which will come in your mind. Very nice place.

Kolkata is very far from development. But after forming wh Smith and other many shops at CCU makes it feel like little premium now ..on WH Smith you will get toys chocolates mostly imported luxury items accessories and much more things.

Good enough to find new arrivals and then order from Amazon and get the same books at 30-40 % discount. Being located at Airport it is very expensive. But ambience is very good.

Bit of a mess. A lot or random items, have to really look for whats useful. If however you are looking for USB cables... You are in luck!

There are like 30 useless staff in there just chatting among themselves. When asked about a product 2 chatting employee just said it is in that corner and continued chatting. why the heck do you need employees if they cannot help a customer? poor experience.

Good shopping outlet inside Kolkata international Airport. BOOKS, MAGAZINES, Gifts, Toys, Souvenirs, travel & digital accessories, chips & biscuits, Cadbury etc. available here. Caps are also available in this store. The shop is neat and clean. Rate is in the higher side as its situated inside Airport.

Its always nice to have WH SMITH in your airport but what i feel is that they can improve on their collection in this outlet

Interestingly this WHSmith is popular for current book for everywhere, except Kolkata International Airport, I dont know why they have so poor collection of books, I tried last at least 10 times to buy some books for my travelling, but alas! Please think , customer like us will refrain from your shop in future.
