Okay, so me and my mother went for few services in this store of Jawed Habib, and it was one of terrible salon experiences. I opted for Hair spa and facial and my mother wanted to get facial and pedicure as well. They mentioned the rates before they even describe whats on the menu or what is needed for the type of hair or skin. Only one facial option I could hear..detan and whitening one. The rooms were hideous, sheets were dirty and my mother said her service person didnt even do massaging. She was so upset with the service that didnt allow her soul to spend one extra penny on pedicure.

I showed the hairstylist what I wanted and even explained but she didnt hear and rushed my haircut. She was talking to everyone and not paying attention. She didnt even measure ny hair, just roughly cut it.

Very poor experience. Didnt get satisfied.Spoiled my hair.Cant control my anger after seeing my hair. Will not recommend.Staffs are not professional.

Horrible experience. Extremely unprofessional and untrained staffs. They charged Rs.100 for eyebrows and completely ruined my eyebrows. DO NOT GO THERE. Staffs do not even have basic knowlege of what they are doing.

It was very good earlier. It was excellent to say the least. After lockdown staff has totally changed. There is a new guy from Patna i dont remember his name. He doesnt put his mask on. Also he applies so much pressure with his trimmer as if he is doing autopsy of body parts.

I have been going to Habibs for the last three years for eyebrow and haircuts.... But today the lady that was appointed to do my eyebrows not only messed it up but it took almost half an hour for her to mess up my brows. She was then constantly arguing with me that my eyebrows have less hair and thats why she couldnt do it properly. Later a senior came to her rescue and tried to correct at least a little bit of her mistakes. My eyebrows are now absolutely ruined and the service lady who probably calls herself a beautician is telling me I will have to give time to regrow my brows so that it looks better... I didnt know you have to have perfect brows to get your eyebrows shaped in Habibs. So make sure you have beautiful hair or perfectly shaped brows to go and get Habibs services

Been here today for a haircut least bit professionalism by any hair stylist Ive seen so far she did not even ask me what I would prefer.. Directly started with. you dont want it too short right and then I had to tell her what I wanted.. Din even bother to show me how my back looks at the end of my cut.. I mean what the *! the hair cut is not about the experience I dont care if you dont give me a hair wash, when I come out I want people to know Ive paid 350 bucks for my cut.. Do not recommend this place at all..

I went after the Pandemic and it was very clean and very nice behaviour and maintaining all the rules.

This is my second time at Habibs and the first at the Shobhabazar outlet. I entered with high expectations and came out promising myself never to come here again. The reasons are numerous:(1) I had gone to get a simple haircut for which a shampoo is mandatory. The guy who did the shampoo did it hastily, with water entering my ears and often falling on my shirt. He did not ask once if the temperature was all-right. On the contrary he almost managed to get a good deal of shampoo in my eyes.(2) The haircut too was done in a hurried way, without much care. The man did not even set my hair with wax / serum, which they do in other Habib outlets.(3) The last thing which pissed me off was that he refused to give me a bill. When I asked about it, he simply said no. without giving any explanation.I would not recommend anyone to ever go to this Jawed Habib. Go to he one in Kakurgachi, Phoolbagan area. Their services are far superior.

I have visited many popular and expensive salons in Kolkata. The Habib at Sovabazar is a complete shocker. The staff are so inexperiences that I almost had my skin peeled off from my face while getting a face wax done. The lady who did it was so rough and ill-mannered that I could not imagine I was in Habibs. I have been to Habib Tollygunge several times and have received excellent service over there. In Habib Sovabazar, the whole place looks so dull and unclean. I am sure they are not even using quality material for their work. While paying Rs. 500 for the face wax, I asked them why was the handling so rough. The woman informed me that their beautician was absent and so she, instead of sitting at the reception found it better to earn the extra 500 bucks by providing me an unprofessional service. They did not even have proper lighting so that I could see whether the waxing was done well. I had a severe headache after coming home. Please, if you love your money and your body, never visit Habib in Sovabazar.

Its one hell of a pathetic place crowded with undertrained stylists and beauticians. More importantly none of the staff have a basic knowledge on the products they are using.
