The location of the hotel is good but we have to talk about the service. The room is fine but I expected the bathrooms facilities to be a little better.I couldnt order food because the telephone didnt work.When I call to check out at the reception the stuff that came to pick up Luggage,he came and asked my wife if anything was being taken from the fridge,It takes a lot of prestige to hear that,Immediately after going downstairs, the receptionist charges a bill to use the fridge items.I was very surprised at this kind of behavior.The minibar was included in my room compliment.I was surprised at this kind of behavior.I have stayed in many hotels and it is unexpected to get this kind of bad use at the end.

I would have given 5 star if the room what they showed must have given to me. 2 days back my friend visited to see my booking and they showed a different room but when i reached they gave me another room not sure why. might me bcoz of i was alone but my question is they nothing to do with that. since i made the booking for the perticular room they have to give me the same.

Very average..other than location nothing is ।impressive.. We had to change the room thrice..only saving grace was the housekeeping guy who served us..Otherwise they tried to overcharge. Construction work going on so it was too noisy during daytime. Room rent with Breakfast is higher you get a very average spread..

My stay was for attending a friends marriage function. The stuffs r really friendly and cooperative. Cuisines in Pepper Chino is really delicious. But I must say they have the best cocktail artist in town. Rooms are well maintained n clean. Provided with lockers , u can keep ur valuable items safe.

Hotel is good but foods are too costly. just a bread omlet they have charged around Rs.400/- almost each dishes they charged Rs.400/- and above.They treated like a professional, there was some issues in services but after complaint they have solved the issues.

Excellent place to stay. got late and checked in at 2 am in the morning due to third class spicejet getting delayed, but the hotel personal made sure that food was available especially for my 2 year old kid

A good hotel to stay and enjoy

The rooms are very good and spacious. The staff are welcoming and I liked the way they treated me & my wife. I have to leave early in the morning still they promised to arrange for my breakfast in the morning. I also liked the location as it is at walking distance from Forum mall (around 10 minutes walk). Overall a good choice and value for money. The only thing that could be improved is they could take the money for foods ordered at the time of checkout than the moment it is delivered. (it may be happening now only because the restaurant is being renovated).

Hello everyone , this the first time i am staying in hotel The similton let me start from the check in process ...WOW , wonderful RECEPTION people with always smiling face. 0 hassle ,0 process. just come and tell u name its done u are good to go to room. LIFT WAY TO ROOM-lift seems to be old but so fast enoughROOM-Room is neither small nor big. it is so compact . we choosed a road view room which is a terrible mistake , because room is not sound proofed i can hear bus and car sounds all the time. big issue was at night i can hear people in corridor fighting and it was so disturbingroom has a chair and table and they have snack complimentsBed is normal nothing much about it.room lock - hassle free key card system ( dont keep card with mobile next time it wont unlock u have to go to reception and get new updated card if u keep so - happened to me) BATHROOM- Again its too compact , smallthe hand back shower has hairs in the openings of it. didnt take pictures because it will be disgustingtoletires they are providing on call and it was clean and neat apart from the hair thing in bath roomAC- ac remote is fixed u have to get up and make changed. centralised ac it makes noise think of the sound from ac , from corridor , the sound from road side it was terrible for me.SERVICE - her comes the service i have given only 2 because u have to call them 2 to 3 times for anything u need. almost 3 to 4 times i called for plates. so be sure u call 1st time wait 15 mins then call again so they will come in next 15 mins2stars for servicebreakfast- pepper Chino breakfast. nice decent buffet nothing much to say on it.if I enjoyed stay?- yes i did. location is heart of the city , apart from sound and service stay was decent ....if u are honey moon couple its a no for uif solo or couples yea u are good to go.thanks for reading stay date - nov 8

It was nice trip with family. All of the Hotel Staff are very courteous and helpful. I was overwhelmed with their positive attitude and response. I reached hotel very early and they provided my room without any delay. we stayed for three days and the found prompt responses to our needs. Last day also I was having late flight and they allowed us extension happily. When I asked for charges, they simply said that they never charge their customer for such things. Our overall stay was like at Home.

Best part about hotel is that it is in vicinity to park street where one would get everything from nightlife to shopping to fine dining. Hotel doesnt have a dedicated parking area so if you have a vehicle youll have to keep moving your car everytime you go out ot come into hotel Since it gets parked at the entrance space itself. room area is smaller than what it looks in the pictures. washroom was clean and good although small. I booked it through goibibo for ***, but i dont think the amenities and infrastructure was worth the money. Amenities looked a bit old.

The lady at the reception is extremely sweet and welcoming. Good experience. Nice room and washroom was also good with good water force and hot water facility. The only drawback is that i stayed there for 5 days and everyday the breakfast menu was same and it had no dessert. The hotel is located at a good area.

The room bathroom r neat & clean. Amenities provided in room is good. Staff r very courteous. Menu for Buffet breakfast is also very good. Overall good value for money. Only point of improvement is that towels were not very clean & was Smelling badly.

Stayed here in February. Courteous staff from reception to housekeeping and f and b service. Great service all through. Has a very central location. The Hotel is old but well maintained and undergoing renovations. As per the administration will have a gym soon. Nice eatery called Pepper Chino. Great for tourists and business travelers alike. All the best team. Will definitely come back again.

Nice budget hotel.. great staff. It has a small rooftop bar/lounge, a restaurant next to it where they serve breakfast, the food and breakfast quality is average, but one can order online and get delivery at the room.

It is always a second home at Kolkata for me. Locality is best. The behavior of the staff and management is very nice. Last time I had a confusion and argument with the hotelier even though they behaved very well. It is totally value for money.

A very average place. The rooms are very average and felt that I paid for more that it deserved. The only plus about this place is the location very close to the heart of the city. The hotel has a restaurant and a lounge.

Hotel amenities were very good. Hotel front desk is clean and manager are polite ans helpful. Room is very fine according to rate provided . complementary breakfast also bery good and with veriety . Enjoyed hotel.

Overall stay was comfortable and all the staff is very cooperative and well behaved. This was my third time stay. Last two stay was very very comfortable, this time there is some deficiency in service may be due to lac of staff in service section. Wifi was also not working this time. But I hope next time these all will be better.

Presently the construction noise is very irritating thats why I marked it 4 stars. Staff is cooperative and good. Food by Kolkata standard is not that good. Rooms are freshly done and nice to stay for business travellers. Overall a good business hotel.

Its good. Has a tea junction outlet just attached with it. Is quiet on the inside but its on a noisy street.

The hotel is at the main road and has wonderful accessibility. The staff was courteous and we did not find any issues happening during the event.

Location is good, cleaning is good, staff is good,But hotel having some renovation lift was not working , they given me room on 3rd floor after complaint shifted to 1st floor next day.But horrible experience in breakfast that medu vada having a very bad smell like oil use for fry medu vada is the same which is used for fry fish.Staff is accepting that some thing wrong but not accepted that same oil was used.

I have been regular customer of Hotel Samilton, I have already spent 15 nights in last three months. But I am sadly saying that customer services has been gone fine within this 3 months.Tell you why, yesterday wifi was not so good and I was not able to connect to my phone, I have asked the reception person to help me with, he simply said 2 min, I have noticed he was not doing and important work nor attending any customers, how ever he made me wait for at least 10 min to attend my issue even I was standing in front of him.

Its a nice hotel to stay in South Kolkata, a bit expensive. Apart from that it has a nice roof top lounge where you can go with your family and friends and enjoy the evening and late night.

Nice hotel, good breakfast, clean atmosphere, well located, polite staff, meets all parameter to become excellent hotel for both professional and family group.. Things which needs to improve is Guest parking facility, and bathroom toiletries as specially shampoo quality needs to improve....
