The Ivy House gives us a calm ambiance in the heart of Kolkata... Its a weekend go_away place for sure. The cafe there is mesmerizing ❤️The teas they provide are so good and the bakery items there are a must.

I stayed there almost 2 weeks in 2019 just before Durga Puja.What a mesmerizing place it is, I tell you. I really feel short of words. Such a humble staff, great food all time, great services, and well what can I say about the scenic beauty !Just awestruck as I entered the first time.By the way around this amazing place, nearby theres a small park also where you can go out on a quick walk and then on way back can enjoy some good food at a local hot spot.I really wish to visit this place again if my pocket may allow and once this pandemic is over.To the team Ivy House ❤️ and much luck to another venture of the owners of this place, Karma Kettle. ☕

Accompanied a friend who was checking out the place for her relatives scheduled to visit the city in winter. I was blown away by The Ivy House. Unique! The staff took us around and we checked quite a few rooms as occupancy was probably low right then. I am a local and unlikely to stay there but would definitely recommend it to visitors to Kolkata. The location is quite convenient, right on the main road in a nice neighbourhood. Worth a stay only for the decor if nothing else!

The rooms are not as bright n shiny as shown in pictures, grey walls, dim lights, no way of sunlight entering into room, depressing wall color grey! Small rooms, very small washrooms, and at the restaurant along with the food, one can also enjoy the drainage smell.

Great place to stay. Rooms are very well decorated. Food is very tasty especially the breakfast.

Visited the tea shop for Darjeeling and coconut macaroons. Sublime. Lovely atmosphere.

Heart of the city and cozy corner...but no place for parking

I could not have asked for a better experience than my stay at Ivy House.I stayed here for 3 weeks so I definitely have a good sense of what to expect. The property is quaint and elegant and there has been a lot care taken in making your stay feel homely. Wifi and aircon are great and the rooms are perfectly clean and tidy. Would highly recommend to women travelling solo! It is centrally located in a safe neighbourhood and there are fantastic local restaurants within walking distance. The owners are beautiful, helpful people and made me feel really comfortable throughout my entire stay. Staff are really eager to please, responsive to feedback and are genuinely friendly, respectful people.I will absolutely be back at Ivy House again. I wouldn’t want to stay anyplace else.

This is the place I was exactly looking for... Super clean rooms, powerful wifi network, great ambiance, supportive staffs, friendly people, cozy feel, just perfect for resting, also in the heart of the city... Thanks to the staffs for super hospitality... Would love to come again...

Amazing interior

Havent stayed here but happened to visit the tea place that they have here called karma kettle.Rooms are spacious with antique style furniture, big size bathrooms in the heart of the city giving you the feel of old world charm.The owners of this place also own a property in Kurseong called Cochrane Place where we stayed for three nights. Our experience at their Kurseong property was amazing in relation to service,food etc so I can guarantee that the service here at The Ivy House would also be good.

We had our anniversary event at the Karma Kettle. Courteous staff, great ambience. Lovely selection of teas. Highly recommended.

Beautiful ambience but small rooms and smaller washrooms. You can enjoy delicious food in a restaurant with its glass ceiling where you can watch rain dancing on the roof tops.

Ivy House is a piece of paradise in Kolkata. Best way to unwind after a day out in the town. The hospitality of the hosts is warm and welcoming. Service is great - cant do enough!!The rooms are so beautifully appointed - tasteful and comfortable. Aircon, Wifi, a good selection of tv channels makes staying in a tempting option. The breakfast was definitely a highlight. I would go back on a heartbeat. Alison
