Excellent stay, very co- ordinating staff especially the front desk staff. They take care of the staff as family members. The place is nice and very near to market and accessible to each railway station and airport. The price is very much reasonable for a official stay and personal visit too. Best budget friendly hotel to stay in Kolkata New Market area, Very near to park street and the new market. The owners is very kind nd takes good care of the guests. Also the staff is very good. you can rent rooms or you can stay in dormitory style 2 storied beds for very cheap price. This is the only hotel with this option near by. Food of hotel restaurant is very good and cheap. Must stay place for budget travelers.

Stay was comfortable. Room service is really quick.I wanted to thank the night staff for helping me with very late checkin around 3am in morning.Personally, Special note for Rakesh (hotel staff) for his nice hospitality and helping a smooth checkout. My stay has better ambience and good lighting which helps me relax. Table lamp provided in my room was helpful for working on laptops and focused reading (if you avid book reader).

Well, hotel is 5 minutes walk from Parkstreet. Nice restaurants nearby. Rooms are ok for stay. Staff is very courteous. Only catch is few good rooms are on 2nd floor with no lift but Stairs are very comfortable. Overall its a good deal and value for money ğŸ‘

Had an amazing stay. Everything was up to the mark. Highly recommended. Felt so homely. definitely coming back. Front desk staff ajit and kanchan were also very helpful. Location is also prime.

Location is good. Service of the Front Desk and Room Service was excellent. Neat and clean room, bathroom, bed. What touched us more is the service provided by the Restaurant. None of us can bear spicy food and we ordered food available in the menu card with a request not to add spice. Food was supplied as we wished to have and just like homemade one. We are surly going to stay there in our next visits to Kolkata.

Too much disappointing. Water fall from rooftop inside the room. A bad smell inside the room. Always need to use air fresher. Poor room service. You have to always concern about the room and your need. They will not do anything willingly untill you ask. Price is high compare to its service. I dont prefer this hotel.

Its well decorated hotel very near to newmarket. The staffs were so nice co-operated. They behaved well beyond the expectation. The rooms are net and clean. I recommend this hotel who wants to stay within newmarket area.

Have been their for two days and two times, this hotel has nice ac dormitory rooms apart from normal rooms which is fully wifi connected. Price is also affordable only rs 500 per day as we all know that this location is heart of kolkata.

FIRST OF ALL I WANT TO SAY ITNA MAIN ITNA HI MILEGA but still we expect what ****** hotel promise.1. No Service for anything.2. Your bedsheet and pillow cover will be same throughout your stay.3. Its good that they dont allow drinks in dormitory but hotel staff enjoys it in the reception area.4. No rather Nill WiFi connections. They have WiFi but it will never work out.5. Even you cant receive mobile signal in dormitory.6. Only one charging point for two people that too you can charge only mobile sorry no laptop.7. There are few restriction which you should note before booking of this dormitory like AC will be switch off between 11am-5pm, TV timing is between 8pm-11pm. Lights will be switched off after 11pm and will switch on for the whole day from 9am.Yes there AC is good and so is the shared toilet.Of course if you book **you will be able to get this dormitory in around Rs. ***/- so what more we can expect.

Good Place for tourist. Especially to whom, who travel alone. I am giving this review based on their Dormitory Service. Because of they have dormitory service. This is really appreciable. The dormitory has 24 (12*2 - Upper and lower) Bed in a hall room with 4 toilets and 3 room separately for the bath. In winter I get hot water. 24 hours drinking water. Good Air condition support. Every people have secure drawer service. High-Speed WiFi connectivity. All are in 500 rupees.Why I am Giving 3 star?? Because of several things.1. They Allow alcohol in common dormitory. Everyone maybe not alcoholic there. So it should be prohibited.2. They didnt provide any towel. its common all over the world, every gust get an individual towel.3. Blankets are dirty. nobody uses their provided blanket but if it clean regularly it will be better.4. Most of the drawer lock was not working.5. Most of the time their behavior is good but one people I found in reception who was not co-operating properly.

Awesome place to stay for short or long term stay in Calcutta. Very reasonable, clean and with high security with CCTV cameras. Great location, Kyd street parallel to Park Street, happening place in Kolkata. Have a look at pics that I shared. One gets nice bed with individual fan and light, located on head top plus a mattress. They have 2 ACs in the dorm, making it quite cold. its very quiet, people mind their own business. Regarding washrooms, 3 Western, 1 Indian and 2 bathroom, all very clean. Hope this helps. I read some positive reviews and went there and wasnt disappointed. Hope you also will be not. Cheers

Beware of bed bugs. I stayed here in dormitory for aroumd 3 nights when I had been to kolkata for an interview. Believe me I couldnt sleep there because of bed bugs. It started itching a lot. I got photo and video of bed bugs and showed to them. Then they changed my bed. They dont change bedsheets when a person leave and a new person comes. Dormitory with AC cost 500 plus taxes. It should have been 200 or 300rs. Dormitory got common bathroom. You get hot water even to wash your face. Its in a good location.

Dormitorys were clean, hygienic, staff were supportive and overall its economical. So if you are an individual with a tight budget then I must say that this is the best place to stay.

There is an A/C dormitory room in this hotel with well maintained 28 beds. Excellent experience of staying here being a solo traveler!

I had a worst experience dealing with them. Unfortunately I ve paid entire 7 days stay in advance through online which I cud nt revoke.. Certainly they are going to face the consequences soon.

Considering short stays these dormitories are good.. bed is covered with curtains so you get a hint of privacy and comfort.you need to carry a lock with you... you will get a cupboard of your own but without a lock. so pls carry a lock when you visit this dormitory.

Bed bug is free with cheaper room rent. U hav to ask for even toilet paper. The will keep the AC remote until u asked for it. The authority try to save the money from everthing and once u are checked in there nothing is free. The room rent seems higher compared to the room quality. Also they dont make up ur room if u dont ask. But the frontdesk people are friendly.

We give one start to this hotel because the staff was helpful (apart from the hotel manager). For the rest, it was not clean and beds were full of bugs as showing on the pic. Dont go there. You expect better from a room costing 2,100Rs. When we presented the case to the managing director (20 year old) his answer was to charge us 15Rs for a complimentary tea. What a joke!!

Worst hotel. this is not a hotel its like a huest house. we are 2 couple booked on this hotel and they provide early check in at 10.00AM. Than they provide me room.on 2nd Floor. No lift was available 203 & 204. both room was very dirty amd smily. Bethroom was so so dirty. badsheet was very dirty, they not provide Bathroom door Mate. I request for changed bad sheet many time but they was ignored and say our Laundry man come evening than i will change. I complain for dirty bathroom water stored and not property passed for room service they come and ask me to next morning sweeper clean. This hotel was not propery managed. Food quality was good but they was too late. i ordered dinner on 6pm and they complete on 7.30PM waiting time 20-25 min they was comment and provide ordered iteam one by one not complete order delivery on 1 time. All Man was Moody and do on bassed on their mood. i commplety upset this kind be service.

A good place for backpackers. Had opted for dormitory for a overnight stay. Helping receptionist. You wont be bugged up by room maintenance fellow for tips.There are two storing compartments 1 spacious enough to store 2 backpacks and the other a smaller one may be could be used to keep shoes . 2 pin wall socket was available to charge mobile phone.Coming to cons:I guess I was the only victim on being bitten by bed bugs. I believe it was in the blanket which was provided. Saw others sleeping peacefully without any issue.

Was centrally located. Working fans and coolers but wrecked. Lights ok with most of them broken. Washroom with hot shower which needs to be maintained. Staff good. Highly priced. Wifi good.

I am posting this live. There are bed bugs all around the beds. 3 of the other people staying here are sitting awake in the middle of the night. We have been bitten by bed bugs all over our bodies. Not all beds have them. Some people seem to be sleeping peacefully, while some others including me have been scratching themselves all night long. The best the authority has to offer is a change of bed, with lines like Is bed pe nahi bhi ho sakta hai. Aap ispe try karke dekh lijiye. Very Very disappointing, and painful experience. Will be shifting to another hotel first thing in the morning. Very bad effort put in by GoIbibo for having listed such a hotel on their app.

I think dormitory of this is hotel is best for solo travellers. Its located in the best part of kolkata. Everything (Bus stop, Metro station, restaurants, tourist places etc) is nearby. Hotel is quiet clean and furnished.

Dormitory AC not on during 11am to 5pm, when asked they told that its their hotel policy. Dormitory still cool though, so no problem. Bathroom water too hot to use during daytime. Other than that nice stay.

One of the best dormitory service in kolkata. They have good number of guest almost everyday. Net & clean service. If you are confused, I suggest you can stay here without any confusion.

Decent enough hotel but creepy guests. I stayed here a month ago and somehow a guy who stayed at the hotel got my number(Im guessing from reception). And stalked me. Still phone stalking me. Overall experience ruined by this. If you are a girl, do not go to this hotel alone. Its neither too friendly nor safe.

This is my second stay in Pushpak with my wife and 8 yrs son. First time i was disappointed (2014), but this time hotel has improved a lot.Staffs are good, not running after tips, rooms, wash rooms very clean and tidy. If got opportunity I wish to stay once again.

Worst hotel I have ever been. Rooms are very small, even didnt have any place to keep luggages. Washroom is very old and dirty. Bed is old, uncomfortable, and small. There were not enough pillows for 2 person. AC could not be controlled. They called it super deluxe room with a high charge!Worst experience ever .

Room wasn’t clean. Bedsheet and the blanket was dirty. Most of all, the bathroom was horrible for us. It was so dirty that we couldnt stay there for another day. I asked the boy to clean it but he didn’t. There is no lift at all.
