We had buffet lunch, nice taste. Not many things were there. In desert only ice-cream was served. But starter loads of items was there. In ala cart e menu colds , virgin mohito has been served.

The place was good enough bt buffet time is limited to 1 n half hour that was a major drawback according to me. Coming to the food items they were fresh, you need to ask for starters repeatedly bcz they serve little amount every serving..staffs were professional.

Heard a lot about this place and it has surely met all the expectations. Service was quite satisfactory. Food and ambience were equally excellent. Remains a bit crowded at weekends. Totally loved the Mughali experience.

Obviously its a luxurious dinning. Ambience is awesome. Buffet menu is too good. Each n every starter well cooked. Main course items are also delicious mainly biriyani is very flavourful as well as meats are tender tasty. Desserts also nice. Overall satisfactory good experience.

The restaurant is situated at Park Circus, near Meher Ali Crossing bus stop. You can go by AC 12 bus towards Sapoorji from Howrah Station. Bus fare only Rs.25/- each. Time takes 45 minutes max.The restaurant inside decorations are simple but very nice and beautiful.Buffet price is Rs.606/- each including Service charge 5% and GST 5%. Rs.549/- plus taxes in week days. Holiday price Rs.599/- plus taxes.Starter, main course and deserts all are very tasty. Food items are not many but you have to praise after having all the items available there. Tandori items, Hariali fish, Kabab items are there in Starter. In main course Mutton, Chicken Biryani, Mix veg, Dal, Fish Curry, Chicken Kasha, Butter Nun are available. Gulab Jamun (Hot) and Vanilla Ice Cream are available in Desert.As per my sons opinion they should also keep any other flavor ice cream except Vanilla Ice cream. Test of Vanilla Ice Cream and the Gulab Jamun were mind blowing.I recommend everyone to visit this restaurant at least once.

Situated in a road near the park circus crossing, this restaurant offers an unique buffet. The buffet is reasonably priced, and offers delicious kababs with good-quality biriyani. The starters are served at the table, for the rest you have to help yourself. Starting from the soup to the ice cream, almost everything was good. Tandoori alu was undercooked, and the fish in fish sarson curry was not fresh. Other than these two, every item was very good. They keep the biriyanis rice, potatoes, chicken and mutton separately. This really helps you when you go to get it. You dont have to look for these things in a sea of rice. The staffs were knowledgeable and helpful, the washroom was clean, the ambience was nice. What else can you ask for?

Went to try our hands at the much talked about recent food sensation in the city. We had to wait 5 mins to get seated and it was crowded at 3pm as well. The sitting space is bifurcated into 2 wings, one for large family groups and other one for usual hop in customers.The Kababs were served at the table and every single item in starter was lip smacking. They served 6 course starter which comprised of chicken tandoori wings, prawn tandoori, fish hara kabab, crispy fried fish, dahi kabab, tandoori aloo.The main course was all about biriyani, which is equally good. They serve mutton, chicken and aloo seperate than the rice.The other items in main course were chicken kassa, dal, fish curry(which is not apt for a mughlai main course), salads etc.All in all, this place is recommended for sure.

Recently I have tried their Buffet. It was average at this price range.They are providing lots of veg and non veg items as starter. But I didnt like the starter items at all because the chicken items from the starter was very hard and not well cooked. Also the fish items were very pale on taste. In buffet they are not providing chicken wings which was mentioned before. Apart from this the AC was not working properly at that day which disappoint me more.Now I am coming to the main course. I had mutton Biriyani and Chicken korma. Both the items were really good. The muttons were separately kept on the buffet tray, which is very good. There were many veg items as main course but I was not interested on those.Lastly the dessert items was very much appreciated. The hot Gulab Jamuns are so tasty and the mousses was also awesome.

Excellent ambiance inside the restaurant. Food quality and taste both are awesome. They dont have unnecessary large menu for buffet lunch but they items they serve are really great and a cause of pleasure for your tongue indeed. Staff behavior are great. In desert, they serve only gulab jamun and ice cream.

In this restaurant you will find a combination of very tasty food with a royal atmosphere. There is no difficulty in finding the restaurant and with that the behavior of the staff here is also quite friendly.We have tried here a buffet which includes 15 items.Among them -Fish Hariyali kebab,Fish Tikka Kebab,Akbari Chicken,Chicken Awadhi Qorma,Fish Qalia,Mutton Biriyani Were exceptional.All in all we had a very nice lunch. Our minds and stomachs were both full.However, a few notable issues:Buffett time is from 12 noon to 5 p.m.And the restaurant authorities give one and half hours for having the buffet per table.For me its a must try buffet in a cheap price. But what an experience from the Ala Carte,Mutton Burrah kabab: 3 succulent pieces of meat, well marinated and perfectly charred.Nawabi Special Biriyani: 6 tikka kababs, 4 mutton, 2 eggs, 4 potatos, 4 ghols and salads. Served in a gigantic copper tray with a serving for 4peoples, but enough for atleast 5-6 people, with side dish and drinks. Extremely flavourful, tender meat portions, even the assorted tikkas was also fantastic. We had to call the chef to appreciate for this excellent kolkata styled Biriyani.Chicken Chilman Bahar: 4 sufficient pieces of chicken in a creamy textured gravy(near to butter chicken) but way to thick and spicy. Try it with naan rather than biriyani.Mocktails: EVERY MOCKTAIL AT 99. We tried Soda Shikanji, Virgin Mojito, Watermelon Mojito and Sherley Temple. No complains, tasted as they should be.Overall experience was top-notch, the atmosphere is family friendly, extremely well-mannered staffs, quick service, great ambiance, good music, what else would you need? Yes, the price was a bit overpriced but its ok. So highly underrated, but must try.

Im just forgot to eat the main course .. bt at last I tired some zira rice with katla corma and chicken awadhi .. that also nice ... bt I personally think if cumin may used little bit lower amount in that zira rice thats test may be increased more ... I didnt try that mutton biriyani but I dont like red meat bt my friends are tried that and they said that was moderate ... And that desert portion also great ... We had lunch buffet.It had an assortment of kebabs(fish and chicken).Main course consisted of Chicken/Mutton biriyani,chicken,dal and mixed veg,gulab Jamun and ice cream.Kebabs were average.Biriyani was really tasty.Gulab jamuns were good too.Ambience was ok.Good place to visit with friends.

Waiting time: Was normal. There were no previous booking available they told if you come with less than 3 people. We had gone for the buffet that was buzzing around. 35 mins wait time after reaching. We had gone on a holiday.Abience: Average. The sitting area they have is comparative small, divided into two segments. But it was very flashy.Food and Service: Buffet contained had 3 veg 3 non veg starters. The non veg startets specially the chicken kabab was really good. We wanted to eat more but the service was coming very slow. I had asked for the crispy fish starter 4 times, yet at the end of the day i didnt get it. Main course was good also. Biriyani was good. Muttons were not even staying in the trays for more than 5 mins i think. The first 2 lots of mutton after we sat was really good. But the 3 and 4th lot was HORRIBLE! You could literally tell that it was not biriyani mutton but just muttin that had been boiled only. And it was chewy, not at all tender. The main thing was with their service again here. There was only one chicken in chicken curry and one fish in fish kalia left when i started the main course which i had took(by god grace may be it was meant for me to taste). And when I left the resturant it was still empty. I liked the fish kalia so I had asked for it like 3 times yet no one refilled them. Even the chicken also. Dessert was good. First ever buffet where i got chcocolate+butterscotch ice cream with chocolate sauce, 2 types of moose, and gulab jamoon. Me and my friend literally said, forget about calories after seeing the dessert. 😎For this poor service only I gave it 2 rating, else the taste was spot on, LITERALLY! In 550(including GST) it was quite good buffet if they could have provided good service.

Starters are better than most of the buffets of this range in kolkata. But the most striking part ia biryani. Though the mutton taste better initially, but they didnt afterwards. So grab the starter fast and then jump into biryani mutton. Its so delicious.

Its need lot of improvement(AC was not working properly, some starter are not good in taste,we had to wait a bit longer for services), though that mutton biryani & mocktails are delicious

We faced a horible experience on our visit, After takeing our sits suddenly the power have gone and the whole room suddenly turns into a dark black room, We thought that now they will start up with their power backup system, After 10 minutes waiting we call the staf and ask him about the problem, He said us that they have no backup system and requested us to sit for another 15 to 20 minutes, And placed a plate with 3 tea candels on our table, After 30 minutes the manager come to us and said to us its not a small problem, They called CESC for checking and repairing and they said us to leave the place, We get down with the torch of our mobile from stairs, From there we 7 moved to Mani Square and take our lunch there, We went to Elahi on 16th July 2021

The meat is soft and well flavoured, comes of the bone easily. Lovely!✓Chicken Jahangiri Kebab - This is a boneless preparation of chicken which is again marinated in mild Indian spices and grilled. It is topped with cheese and served with mint and mustard dips along with onions.✓Chicken Hyderabadi Masala - Its an amazing side! Loved the smoky flavour of the entire dish. A coal is added additionally on the top before it is brought to the table to give that extra smoky aroma. Its a green gravy with coriander being one of the main ingredient. Paired it with lachcha paratha.✓Mutton hara Mirch Keema - My most favourite dish for the evening. A smoky flavour is infused using snoked hara mirch. The dish is extremely flavourful, however not spicy. It is using some north indian spices which is adding a beautiful aroma to this mutton keema dish. Its an absolute bliss! Paired with this garlic naan.✓Persian Chelo Kebab - The take on the chelo Kebab is a little different. Instead of buttered rice they are serving saffron rice tossed in clarified butter. There are chicken kebabs, poached egg, salad and the a mutton gravy. Elahi Luxury Dining is one of the hidden gems when it comes to Mughlai cuisine. From the service to the ambience to the lip-smacking food everything was exceptional. Each of the items were really well made and tasted delicious. Most mughlai places dont serve good mocktails, however I absolutely loved the mocktail here! I have gone last week after lockdown. The food was awesome. Lots of Kebab and its very tasty. There are 2 types of chicken kebab and one of them is Chiken wings(big size). There is a crispy fish kebab. Also mutton of the biryani is very soft and delicious. Loving it.In desert, there is icecream 🍨 and Gulap jamun.

Elahi is one of the most authentic mughlai restaurant in kolkata. It is located at park circus 7 point. The interior is very beautiful it will give you a Royal feeling. In 599 the buffet is awesome, specially the quality of the Mutton and the Biryani (one of the best in Kolkata). The service is also top notch. The only minus point is, it is too crowded. Of course the footfall is for the food!

Im not someone who usually prefers buffet but I went to elahi for the first time and decided to try the buffet as it looked economical and tempting. The food, the interior is just amazing and so is the staff. They were very cooperative and polite. Looking forward to visiting again any time soon.

I would really recommend mutton and chicken kababs here its really different from the normal restraunts we go . All the dishes are delicious and I loved the interior , staff are well mannered as well. If you want to have good muglai do visit them .

Now Park Circus has a special Muglai Fine Dine restaurant Elahi Luxury Dining. We were with friends and trust me, it is one of the finest Biryani in the town.The chicken and the mutton was amazing perfectly marinated and it was moist and tasted great. We had a vast menu however attaching the photo with names of the dishes we had.Elahi Luxury Dining highly recommend .

Very good dish and service but only one little problem is I already paid GST BUT my bill include extra service crage Rs142/-. I not know how he including service charge when we pay Goods and services Tax (GST).I THING THIS THINK MANIPULATE US.

Its been a while since I had Nihari, and while in Kolkata, the 2 places which were in my radar for long were Manzilats and this one. After looking at overall reviews, consulting with my foodie friend and accomplice on this trip, we zeroed in on Elahi and it didnt disappoint. Their mutton nihari paired a delicious broth with 2 sizeable mutton pieces and went wonderfully with some fresh butter naans. For those looking to try, its a must visit. If possible, go in large groups so you can try their biryani and kebabs as well.

Great food and good staff, but heavy on your pocket

Visited on 11th of August 2021. Very frank to say this was my 4th visit and I can they that they have degraded as hell. Never believed they would serve stale food. Upon informing about this to the manager he came and stood quiet without giving a single response. He was not even sorry. All the kebabs given in the buffet was stale except fish. Even the mutton in the biryani was smelling. Very disappointed.

Ambiance was good. But the food was not ao great.

Food is good...starters are very good...surprisingly biriyani in main course was really good..but variety of dessert should be there..they only serve gulab jamun and one flavor of ice cream.

Only biriyani item is good, if you want to try there buffet , I recommend pls dont

Place is very nice but the food was ok ok, not very good... Yes only chicken tandoori was awesome, fully cooked and very juicy.. But the mutton bharwa was not at all good, not fully cooked.. Chicken special biryani was also very good.. Not a bad experience.. Overall it was ok ok..

Staff are very polite.Food quality is very much satisfactory.
