First of all GREAT service , the food was excellent . Price were moderate . You can find some good authentic Chinese dishes here . They serve in disposal kits though they charge extra 25rs per head for some extra convenience . The restaurant staffs were very polite & decent in their behaviour . Well Hygiene maintained place .

The new Chinese restaurant near dakbanglow more barasat. Food quality was very good and quantity is also very good. Max 4 peoples can seat together. 2 seated also available. Take away and dining in both are available here. Parking facilities available.

I was at the restaurant recently and my experience was average. For appetisers we ordered Crispy Chilli Babycorn and Vegetable Momos. The crispy chilli babycorn was good in taste however vegetable momos did not win my heart. To my surprise the momos had paneer which I was not expecting in vegetable momos. I was not used to having paneer in momos unless I ordered paneer momos. For main course, I chose Shanghai Fried rice and Pan Fried vegetable noodles along with vegetable manchurian. The manchurian had cilantro which was again surprising as I had expectations from Chowman to be a centre of proper Chinese cuisine. Still, I can say the restaurant has great staff, maintains hygiene and you get speciality dishes based on occasion.

Just got back from Barasat Chowmen, wonderful atmosphere, very good staffs, recommend it anyone whos a fan of Authentic Chinese food

Even after being one of my Favourite Chinese joint but particularly barasat branch didn’t stood up to my taste buds. Ordered a simple Simple Schezwan hakka Noodles but it was too oily for being chinese dish and taste was absolutely flat not even near to what other CHOWMAN offer. Please look into the matter and I believe for this one Road side Chow would have been better option.

It was very bad service they provided, told you to make food less spicer that usual , they serve us more spicer than usual. Seems the so called chef showing frustration on customer.

Ordered chicken noodle and chili chicken from swiggy towards this restaurant. Chili chicken was salty and my mother used to modify the chicken otherwise it was for no use. And noodle 🍜 sorry to say it was not at all good.i advise the restaurant make your menu simple and improve the taste which a customer needs rather than in competition. Still not asked for refund from swiggy because food should be respected. First time order and it is for last time.thank you.

Food is very good, it tastes like authentic chinese food. The restaurant also provides contactless menu & disposable plates, in this covid situation they maintaining the hygiene very well and thermal checking is also available here. The only thing i didnt like is the tables, for four people it is too small.

Its truly appreciated only for Chinese food. We have brought food today. Chicken Manchow soup, then Chrispy Chilli Baby Corn, then Egg Chilli Garlic Noodles and Chowman Special Noodles. All are very testy and delicious. I think the price is little bit higher. But still the Chinese flavour is awesome. Overall I can say after a long period we have finally discovered the existence of Chinese food items at Barasat.

Havent been there in person but have gotten home deliveries many times.We ordered honey tossed fried chicken wontons, chicken lollipop, drums of heaven, and chilli garlic fried rice and noodles.The starters were great, I recommend all three of them. The noodles and rice are great too but the rice is quite spicy.Our total was Rs 955/- and it was enough for 3 people.We have also tried their other items too. If you want to try chopsuey, try the Chinese one. The spring rolls were good but were too oily. The momos were a disappointment. Among chicken main course Ive tried chilli chicken, chicken in chilli garlic sauce, Kung pao chicken. All of them are good and I recommend them all.Overall good experience. The quantity is good for the price. The packaging is neat and good.
