The kababs were realy realy realy realy bad. It did not taste like beef and the chicken kababs were total waste .... this was a waste of money and time .
I know that its over a hundred years old but i think its just over hyped because its old reputation. I have had better Suta Kababs at a much cheaper rate. It is not bad and in fact it is quite good unique but considering the space there to stand and eat and the only one small bench, one can have better Suta Kababs at much cheaper price.
The sensuous delicacies of this place are a must for any food lover. Tucked away at a corner of Zakaria Street, it offers the mouth-melting Sooti Kabab and other signature dishes. Mandatory part of a food tour of the area during Ramzan. The smoke, the aroma and the flavor transport you to a land of satiation.
Nothing exceptional & far below expectations. Its a tiny shop located inside a narrow lane near Zakaria Street. I tried their Chicken Malai Kabab, which costs ₹60. The quantity of chicken you get is extremely less as compared to the price. The place is not hygienic at all. Good for a one-time visit. 👍
Located near zakaria street on the heart of the street food zone.A very small shop. Serving two variety of kababs..... Chicken boti kabab and suti kabab (mutton/beef). They ll make it in front of you. Sutu kabab is their famous in house creation. The moment you will eat it... The thing will melt on your mouth.
A perfect place to have sutli kebab, which literally melts in your mouth. Located in a very busy alley where one stand on the opposite footpath while silently enjoying the delicious kebab😊 and watch the busy street😉
Very ausum kababIf you guys want to eat beef kabab please have this
If you are looking for authentic boti and suta kebab this is the place to be. Yes the surroundings are not good and this is in a crowded place but taste is awesome. Loads of crowd throng here specially during iftar but there are kebabs for everyone. This is an old non descript small joint 103 years old which is famous for the suta or thread kebab where the raw meat is placed on the skewers by encircling suta and thread on the raw meat before being put on a bed of charcoal. The masalas are all a perfect blend and simply melts in the mouth. There is no place to sit and eat so you should be prepared to eat it on the go or take a packed one. Each suta kebab stick costs Rs 60 and is worth every penny
Chicken suta kebab was not at all tasty. All hype as I have heard
On a Ramzaan Monday evening, visited this place for their speciality. Suta Kebab. It had a decent crowd.Got 1 Suta Kebab and 1 Boti Kebab. The Boti was no where near the SUTA kebab. For Rs 60, expected a slightly more quantity. Quality wise it was top notch(9/10). Was too hungry to click the food. The Boti kebab (7/10) was also good.Zakaria street is not for strict hygiene cautious people as they might find the open roadside cooking a hygiene discomfort. If you are reading this, do you know whether Adams Kebab is open throughout the year or not? , because its not a stall but a Pukka shop.
This little hole in the wall shop makes the most delectable suta and boti kebabs. If youre on a Ramazan food trail, this must be your first stop because when we reached there around 7 one Ramazan evening we were the last of a serpentine queue that had already formed outside the shop and by the time our turn came, the botis had gone out of stock! If kebabs are your thing, make sure you make a beeline for Adams as the sun starts to bid adieu.
Such a small hidden place in a narrow crowded steet . Excellent kababs ... Only taste speaks .. Street side delicious food..
Famous for their sutli kabab or kabab made by using a string to fasten it. One needs to be there by 7:30 pm before it finishes. Very popular but small place. standing room only. Contrary to popular belief, they make chicken and mutton kababs other than Beed kababs. Really great food and a must visit.
If you are in kolkata during Eid and want a place to have great kebabs then Adams is the place for you. Normal days there is almost no crowd but once Eid arrives, you have you wait atleast 2 hours in queue to get to the shop. But it will be worth your wait as the kebabs are juicy, well spiced up, cooked to perfection. The to area is a bit crowded but all anyone and they will lead you to the famous Adams kebabs. With good food its pretty pocket friendly as well
Not so good as they are highlighted.
One of the best for kebab
Why bro?.. items are bit pricy.. 60 rs for a kebab? I got it same on 30rs just 2mins walk from there.. not so good
Taste is okay but its overpriced
Loved it. The chopped kebab chicken pieces drowned in butter, is what your tongue would long for. Exceptional taste.
Lip smacking kebabs! Their Suta Kebabs are a speciality and a definite try. Although the Boti kebabs couldve been a little better but cant complaint. Do visit this 130 years old kebab shop to spice up your evening!
Their beef suta kebab is a must for all kebab lovers. You can feel the kebab melt inside your mouth - such is the delicacy of their food .
If you like beef and kebab, then this is the place. I had since the owners father used to make kebabs. The taste has been passed down and still the same. Small shop but convenient.
Its just 5 mins walking distance from Central Metro Station. I had gone to this place at around 6 in the evening after seeing the reviews of this place. I had the beef suta kabab and it tasted really really good. It was served with sliced onions, green chillies, lemon and curd. Would definitely go there again in the future.
High price but very tasty
A must visit place for all kabab lovers. It is located near Islamia... though it is a quiet tough place to spot Still its the paradise of kebabs...the suta kebab needs a special mention... there is nothing to mention about the ambience as its a very small joint.. but as end of The day only the food matters hence the place definitely steals my heart ...
You found kolkata most best kabab in this kabab shop, this shop only for kabab, my own experience, bangladeshi tourist must go
The food out there was amazing.Never tasted something like that before.
Adams is known for its suta kebab. And its delicious. A must try.
Oh great...
One of the best kabab makers in Kolkata. You can try their Suta & Boti kabab.
It was good but the place is so tiny that you will hardly set yourself their
Good and palatable keema kabab
Here you can get good beef kebabs
This place sells nice kebab..visit during Ramzan
You can very easily miss this place. Really hole in the wall type of joint. But the kebabs ! Well worth the perseverance to find and go to this place. Reputed to be more than 100 years old the kebabs are superb and so cheap. Dont miss this when you are in Kolkata
Doesnt stand up for its hype. Tried all the kebabs but non of them were full filling the expectations.
Good kabab
Heaven of street kababs in Kolkata. The chicken boti kabab and beef sutli kabab is just heavenly tasty. But the place is very unhygienic and the street where the shop is situated is extremely dirty. Always come between 6 pm to 7 pm because after that you will be unable to get good kababs there. The food is very cheap here so try every type of kabab because each version of kabab have different taste.
This place is small but has a lot to offer, You can have tasty beef, mutton or chicken Kabab here. Visit during Ramadan to experience the street food.
Nice kabab with reasonable amount of price and the kababs were delicious
Suta kebab is their speciality. Its juicy and crumbling as well. It will melt in your mouth
Exactly kabaas they even serve Boti kabaas.
Small joint.. But dont let it decieve you.. The kebab will literally lift your spirit up.. Boti kebabs are hard to get.. But sutli kebabs are the speciality here.. 150 will be enough for two people if you take chapatis along.. Good quality meat & nice smokey flavour.. Heaven for meat lovers..
Best sutli kabab (Not Kebab) in town...
Have to reach by 6.30 pm for avoiding long queue...chicken mutton items get over quickly...kebabs were really soft and tasty..best time to visit during Ramzan..
Highly overrated! When I visited in 2017 it was not that famous, any kind of sutli kebab was then 30 rs per plate! Now for the same amount we need to pay 60rs per plate for Chicken and For mutton 80rs.According to my suggestion don’t waste your time and money for Adam’s
Best roadside kabab in the city. The minced beef, along with a squeeze of lime, will leave your taste buds salivating and craving for more. Visit this hidden gem for a gastronomic experience for the ages.
Small shop but great food Quality 👌
Good old kebab joint, but now pice has increased much and had become unnecessarily more spicy, they should keep breads to used like sandwich, as Sutta kebab after bening more spicy, is not that enjoyable to consume alone, visited multiple times, never saw boti kebabs are available...
All time favorite in the shrunken lane of boubazaar. Serves only 3 variety but all cooked to perfection. Have college life memories of old monk and boti kebab.# Nostalgic symphony !!
Too good . Yummy Sutli kebab. Kebab balancing on string worth experiencing , hidden gem of culinary delights on Pheares Lane. Charcoal and kebab aroma would draw u there
Mouth watering kebabs. You will get three variants - beef, mutton and chicken to choose from. Their specialty is Suta kabab. Basically tie the minced mutton with a thin thread along with the iron stick. On Ramzan season this tiny shop is thronged by enthusiastic people. Be prepared to stand in the queue for at least half an our in the peak time to place your order! But so worth it!!
Nice place. And the kebabs are awesome at minimal cost.
This locality is actually street food heavy !! So this one also has some delicious stuffs !!
One of the top kabab shops in kolkata. Legendary would be the apt word for it.
Main attraction is beef suta and boti kabab.. though suta kabab is a waste of bucks I believe..boti kabab is worth a try..apart from this chicken items are also available like Malai kabab.
The taste of kebab was good but there is a lack of hygiene so taste-4, hygine-1, cost-4
Authentic 103 yrs legacy place, u cannot take car there, no place to sit but 10 stars for food. Suggestion: order from Zomato as place is difficult to access.
Outstanding taste but they literally doubled the price from ₹30 to ₹60 a plate, thanks to the hype created in social media.
I ordered chicken kawab,Good taste.. worth of money
Very good beef kebabs. Located in a very claustrophobic area with no seating and standing arrangements. Do not visit if you are not okay with very not classy food stalls.
If truly love meat, if youre not one of the guys from RSS, if you are not a bhakt, then go here. The kebabs will take you outta this world. The only 2 items to try are boti kebab and sutli kebab. No place to sit, small alleyway, no tissue, just you and your kebabs. Period.
This quaint little hole in the wall of a shop is a blink and miss place, I found it specifically by using G maps. Located in Phears lane, opposite Medical college & hospital, it offers a host of interesting kebabs, of which beef suta kebab is famous. The other kebabs are made later in the evening. Since I visited it around 4.30pm, the suti kebab had just started grilling & i watched how the pounded ground mass of mashed meat and masales are wrapped round the skewer, held together by a string and barbecued to perfection over a charcoal grill right in front of your eyes. Each sheekh kebab cost ₹60. It is soft, succulent and spicy, and to me tasted a bit like galawti kebab.
Visit this place if you wanna try out delicious Kolkata street food. The beef sutta kebab steals the show.
Amazing food by this 3rd Generation stop-over. Huge followers throng for this heavenly place serving Beef Suta Kebab, Beef Boti Kebab, Chicken Malai Kebab, Mutton Suta Kebab
Amazing kababs! mutton kabab and chicken kababs were exceptionally good!
A very good kabab shop at area of Zakaria Street. They are specialized in Boti Kabab & Suta Kabab
Very tasty. Very cheap..
