An amazing place to drop in at. They have a restaurant area and a lounge area and the ambience is based on the sea theme with a shark thing on the wall in the lounge area which I liked alot. Their staffs are very courteous and helpful and the service is excellent. The buffet had a huge variety and I didnt like the fish starter much but the main course was absolutely delicious. Even the chicken, rice and other items in the buffet was good. I liked the chicken wings too. The dessert menu was the best of all. I absolutely loved it. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this place.Do pay visit and see if you like it too!Happy fooding!

The ambience was amazing, really love the way they orchestrated the decor of seas and oceans into a fabulous buffet restaurant. I went to Ocean Grill with our office group. There are two buffet options - normal buffet and seafood buffet. We chose the normal one. They serve the starters on table - its consists of fish fingers, cheese balls, chicken tikka, barbecue chicken etc. Except barbeque chicken, others tasted jist okay. The fish fingers are lacking fish fillings. In the main course they have dishes like herb rice, fish, chicken, mutton biriyani etc. The mutton biriyani tasted good, other items are okay except the herb rice which tasted like someone has put eucalyptus oil in your rice. Surprisingly the desert section had several options and all really tasted nice. Hope they put some ice creams too.To conclude, after been there once, I dont feel to go there any more. They really need to improve the food quality.

Recently visited this place. The place is really beautiful with marine theme. They have very comfortable seating with a lot space. As their name suggests they specialise in seafood. So this time I tried out their lunch buffet and it was really awesome.In STARTERS, they gave chilli potato, mororula fry, cheese balls and many more. I really loved chilli potato among those even being a non-veg person. Other starters were also great. Along with starters we took mocktails. Among them FROZEN MARGHERITA is the brightest. I also liked the blue Lagoon.In MAIN COURSE,there were CHICKEN SOUP , which was quite different in taste and lovely chicken chunks floating in it.Then comes MUTTON BIRYANI , and I genuinely loved it dont no people give negetive feedback about there Biryani but really loved it because it had a unique texture and taste.Then there was Chicken changesi , which felt like normal chicken kosa to me. Then the Baked Fish was nice. And there were many item like noodles, herb rice , dal makhani , paneer preparation etc.The DESSERT section was awesome, here literally every item great in taste. Last week I went to Ocean Grill for lunch. The ambience is quite good with an oceanic vibe. They serve both ala carte and Buffet. We opted for their non-veg weekly buffet which starts from Rs. 699/- The buffet has a quite good variety of dishes which includes starters like BBQ Chicken Wings, Spicy fried chicken, Stir fried Mouralo in mustard sauce, Cheese balls, Chilli potato. The starters were decent. The main course includes Chicken Changezi, Mutton Biryani which was quite good, the mutton pieces were tender and juicy but I felt they couldve used a better quality of meat. Grilled Fish in creamy mustard with Herbed rice was really good. They also had Veg Hakka Noodles, Veg Manchurian, Egg Kosha, Soup, Salad. Coming to the dessert, Firni and Chocolate Mousse were amazing but the gulab jamun and Baked Alaska were bit disappointing. Overall we had a good time the service was great.

Last week I visited this wonderful ocean themed restaurant which serves both buffet and ala carte menu. Its located just opposite to RDB cinemas ( Sector 5). Its really spacious and has a separate bar section and smoking room. I loved the sculptures and drawings of sea animals on the walls. Now coming to the food I tried:-The starters were really tasty and I loved the BBQ wings, Kebabs and Mourala Fish which was prepared in a dry mustard paste. It was really unique and yummy. I also equally loved the cheese balls and Veg Fingers. ♥️♥️They were crispy and soft from the inside. Chilli potato was not that great.Coming to the main course. I absolutely loved some of the dishes from the buffet. They had Herb Rice, Creamy Fish, Mutton Biriyani, Egg Masala , Chicken Changezi, Soups, Spaghetti, Hakka Noodles, Manchurian, Chole, Malai Kofta, Daal Makhani, Streamed Rice, Raita, Salad. 🤩😍The Biriyani was great. And I didnt really like the taste of spaghetti. The Creamy Fish was a bit salty. Other than that everything was fine. 😋😋There were 2 mocktails which were really refreshing. 🤟♥️Moving on to dessert- They had Mini Choco Mousse which was my absolute favourite. The chicken spicy wings , Prawn grill and fish Kabab is mouth watering . Veg starters are also good . Coming to main course they serves Mutton ,Fish , Chicken ,Prwan all most everything you just name it, coming to the. And the main attraction the unlimited crab curry and seafood you can have if you pay extra 149 Rs. After that they serves allmost 7 to 8 kind of starters . Gluab jamun was really good . Rating - 4/5. The Chicken Wings was quite good among it.In Main Course we tried Roasted Vegetables, Roti/Naan, Dal Makhani, Paneer Butter Masala, Chefs Special Pasta, Veg Hakka Noodles, Veg Manchurian , Steamed Rice, Egg Masala, Chicken Changezi, Grilled Fish in Creamy Mustard and Mutton Biryani. The mutton pieces were good in the Biryani.For dessert, we tried Phirni, Assorted Pastry, Malpua, Baked Alaska, Profite Roles and Caramel Custard. The phirni was good in taste.The food options in the menu are well organized but the taste needs improvement. If the Sea Foods were also included in the Buffet Menu then it would have been better.The ambience suits with the name of the restaurant and very innovative.

Worst experience ever. Name Ocean grill is nothing but a scam, no fish item and live grill is available . Can you believe, at price of 700, you eat mourala machh (Indian Carplet) as a starter. Other fish is just unavailable. For prawn you have to pay 99 rs extra..only for two pieces of prawn. Main course and desart also a big disaster. Servicing is very poor they just try to avoid you to give food. Just worst!!!!!...I post a photo of refreshment drink...gives in a vodka type of glass!!!! Can u imagine....just dont go... if something possible that is below worst...that is Ocean grill.. total waste of money.....in my opinion..not recommended.

The services was very bad. Also they had two types of meal one was usual and other was special plate, the usual one did not even had prawn . Innovative menu card they have wherein you can explore which sea food is according to your zodiac sign. I have mixed review for this place. When I visited first I found it is a great place for sea food and ideal for family or friends group. I tried different starters like grilled pomfret etc. However on my next visit they have mistakenly added an extra dish to our bill which we paid. I called them up after realising this fact on bill and they admitted their mistake. Also they are allowed to organise different events like wine tasting event pairing with their finger licking dishes. Must try ChickenQuiche VegBruschetta Lavash and Stick cracker Meatballs Shammi Kebab Paper fish Seafood pizza Brownie.

I have been here for lunch recently and I am elated with my experience. They have a marine ambience along with a great blue and white decor. The food they serve is a big highlight. They have got a good variety of menu. The staffs are very friendly and provides a quick service. The desserts here are always recommended.

Yesterday I tried the regular Seafood Platter here. Probably the first time I had this disgusting experience of food in Calcutta. It took 944 INR. The crab was just as raw as it was, not even cooked or fried much as it had to be. Plus the rice that I got was not good at all. If the management authority notices this then I would very much like to revisit this place for food if they return me my half of the money. Otherwise would never gonna suggest this place ever again to anybody. Just some waste of money.

The buffet costs 999per head so i went for platter899.. The crab tasted unusual not in a good way... I had a good experience in the past so went there to satisfy my sea food cravings but this time not satisfied to that extent...the service was excellent though..

The interior was awesome, classy. The staffs took great care of us. and the main thing was there buffet duration which was of four hours unlike barbeque nation. so if you are thinking to go anywhere in this lockdown, go to this place. So I went here to try their buffet menu and I was very impressed. The food tasted good and the ambience was very lively. Loved that they have a wide range of options in their menu. Would definitely recommend this place to all.

Went to this place last day with some of my friends for having a quick lunch. The place was absolutely amazing. The services were prompt the dishes were amazing and specially the ambience was very calm.We ate:Fish bucket and green chillichicken as starters.Moon fan fried rice and Chicken changesi as main course.And Brownie and caramel custard as desert.All the dishes were absolutely delicious and specially they were presented perfectly.I really had a great experience there.

The decoration is very cool. A good place for family and friends outing. I went there for lunch. They have a huge number of items which is more than enough to be stuffed.They served cold starters at first (which I didnt like).Overall its a nice place.

We just dined here today. We had a disastrous experience.the starters were cold, tasteless and served at a very long length of time interval.we kept on asking for starters and they made us wait for 30 mins. it seemed to us that they were prior prepared and they wereheating those in microwaves.Complimentary drinks are either thums up or sprite.We ordered the first one only to find it is diluted with water.🙊Same goes for main course.items were extremely limited, all cold.the only item I found palatable compared to others is the mutton biriyani but again it lacked mutton pieces.Desert was even more limited than the main course.no ice cream!Overall bad and waste of money! It is no way worth more than Rs400/ and they are charging Rs 700 per head!Would not go there again

Worst place to go.No proper management and system.No live grill on table.No completed buffet menu which was mentioned.Go to right place if you want to have a buffet and barbeque.They even didnt attended our queries and only said sorry we dont have this foods.Its just waste of time and money.And what ever we were served, seriously it was way poor quality.

Food was average. At this price (640 approx with taxes) spread could have been better. Cold drinks were served in glasses which were a bit bigger than shot glasses. Taste of food was extremely average. The waiters took a lot of time to refill the buffet spread. Dessert section was good.

Not that great to be honest. Proper cleaning & sanitization of tables after one group of diners finishes is not being done. A big big drawback specially in such pandemic times. Music being played is too loud to be comfortable. Service for ala carte option is quite delayed. Food however was tasty. Pricewise, a tad bit on the higher side. Sea food lovers should visit for the variety of options. However, asian chicken delicacies are not upto the mark. Sweet like soda on the contrary was excellent and very refreshing. It was a fine experience visiting OG for the first time. The restaurant staffs behavior was polite. Really cool ambience, the theme was of an ocean of course. Coming to the food I would give their Starters section 7/10 , Main course was actually good so 8/10, The Desert section was disappointing: expected a lot more items than that, some fruits were smelling so 5/10 for me. Overall the experience was fine. It was a Friday night dinner it cost us 899/- per head. Theyll charge you extra 100 if you want live grill where you can grill your food like kebabs and stuffs. There was a smoking room as well that was of size of a lift. If you want to damage your lungs just stand there for 5 minutes having 4 people around you smoking.That room was terrible, omg.

Ocean Grill is one of the elegant and finest restaurant at Saltlake area. It is located just opposite to RDB Cinemas and they had a lavashing buffet section. They also provide separate a- la- Carte menu at a modest price. Besides that it is a sea themed restaurant where ambience is at top notch. It was a good experience for me and I really like the modest behavior of the staffs.

Visited on 1st November, 2020. I saw good reviews on Zomato so I wanted to check out the restaurant. I have never been more disappointed in a buffet. There are 2 types - 699 (useless) and we tried the 899 buffet since it had mutton, crab and chicken. From starters to mai course, everything was bad. There is NO LIVE GRILL, No unlimited desserts. The waiter will come and put everything on your plate. Very very slow service to a point where you just want to pay the bill and escape. The sea food ambience just looks dirty and dull, I had to tell them 3 times to switch on the AC, and evn aftr 2hrs, it was barely chill. There is no complimentary drink. For starters, they gave 3 veg starters which were very bad and tasteless. Rest - Chicken wings, chilli potato, fish kebab and chicken tikka kebab - All bad. Main course came after waiting fr 30mins - had Pulao (felt old and stale), crab, mutton, chicken, egg. All the gravies tasted the same, mutton had too much of salt. Chicken was fibrous. Desserts were the only thing I like. Nothing extraordinary. However, desserts are one-serve only. Had a lemon cake, tiny pudding, sweet boondi and a chocolate puff. All together very bad experience. Ambience, infrastructure everything was disappointing. Will suggest to not visit at all.

The Restaurant is nice.The foods are delicious.And the environment is also good.

The place has a good crowd, owing to the tech sector in which it is located; music of varying genres playing on speakers with nice bass; a TV to stare at if your friends are boring; clean toilets. Some furnitures are custom designed to give it a rustic look that matches Caribbean ships, with seashells and random sea creatures stuck on them, which make them look like they have been rescued from a shipwreck and restored. The staff is polite and is always keen to attend to your needs.Ocean grill is undergoing a gradual transformation, following a theme and nomenclature. Sources say that a doodle is coming up over the bar counter along with more artworks. :P

Although i went there many times, but today when i enter there with my wife at about 7:15 pm, the waiter told me, that they can serve alcohol but as per govt. Lockdown resolution, they will snatch our glass from our table at 7.50 pm... Is it a manner or way to talk to a customer?? Better they can say that they are close by that time.however I left the place immediately, without placing any order, & i promise that i will never visit this place in my life

Visited this seafood specialist restaurant this weekend as their winter special buffet is going on. First which should be mentioned is the courteous staff and their prompt service. The winter special buffet has a vast selection of items. What I liked the most about the food is the distinct flavor in each of the items. The best items according to me from the buffet menu is the mourola fry,chilly liver and chicken quesadillas in starter. In main course the mutton biryani(mutton pieces were so tender), fish in creamy sauce ,pork curry(oh boy I just loved it) and the baked Alaska ,caramel custard in desserts. But I think they have scope to improve their overall dessert section. Mr. Mithun Roy took good care of us. Thank you so much for the prompt service.

The worst service and worst food. They dont know how to manage guest. In sector V if all other restaurants are pact then only they do business. Dont ever try this place waste of money. Not well behaved at all.

Visited on a overly crowded day, staffs were trying their best - but could have been better. I found the Indian starter kebabs underdone. 3 stars for location, ambiance and effort from some junior staffs. O yes the desserts were very good. First of all this place serves mostly seafood if you are after more of traditional chicken and mutton dishes then, please know this.First the ambience, it is a great cosy place with well-versed and helpful staff. If possible then ask for the window seats.Now the dishes the starters are very tasty the fish haryali kebab was my favourite. The crab dishes in the main course my the show stealer. Now for deserts, most of the dishes were light and not too sweet.In conclusion, if you are craving for seafood with buffet system then this the place to go.My only advice to this restaurant will be add some fish/crab dishes from south India in the main course, then it would be 5 stars for me.

Few days back I went to this outlet with my friends which is located opposite to RDB cinemas , sector V saltlake city. The place is totally ocean themed restaurant . They have buffet section and Bar section also. The ambience is quite pleasant and beautiful. This is one of my favourite places for having sea food. But this time I tried their buffet menu. Food quality was very good. I dont remember all the list but I love the most:1. Bbq chicken wings (awesome)2. Stir-fries mourala in mustard sauce ( it was quite unique in taste)3. Golden fried prawn. One of my favourites.4. Mixed veg pulao5. Mutton Rogan Josh ( tasted awesome)There was also a huge range of desserts but I just remember only two of them:1. White forest2. Double chocolate sugar-free truffle.All the items were so so so delicious. Perfect place for spending a nice family time or family lunch. Staffs were efficient. Altogether the experience was awesome.

Located near RBD just opposite to barbeque nation. Ambience is very pleasing. Especially the entrance it looks as if u have entered a aquarium. The wall had a quirky decor of sharks nd they even had fishes in the aquarium.Coming to the dishes which we ordered.STARTERS :🔹 Sultani kebab🔹 Mushroom Malai kebab🔹 Green Chilly chicken🔹 Barbeque chicken wingThe Sultani had minced chicken nd tasted really good. The mushrooms Malai kebab was aromatic nd had a load of malai on top of it, felt it dry, could have being more spicy.Green chilly chicken was good. The barbeque chicken was very aromatic nd tasted really very good.MAIN COURSE.🔹 Moon fan fried rice🔹 Mongolia Chilly fishMoon fan fried rice tasted good along with the tender pieces of Mongolian Chilly fish nd enhanced the taste.DESERT🔹 CARAMEL CUSTARD🔹 BLUEBERRY CHEESE CAKE.Both the desserts was very delicious.

I have just been here last week, believe me the apart from some starters rest everything was absolutely pathetic (No live grill).Main course fish had a blant sauce, chicken curry was boiled chicken mixed with the sauce seperately as no masalas went inside.Mutton briyani, my god, never had such biriyani which tasted like rice and mutton just mixed with biriyani masala all seeming separated from one another.Alu gobi and palak paneer, my god never expected that in a sea food restaurant.No carbs, no prawns, no squids, no octopus, not even a decent choices of fish. To end it all soggy pastries, dangerously over sweetened firni, just the custurd was ok. For 745 bucks if you add a little 50 rupees more you can have an amazing Lunch at many places in that same vicinity.

Visited here few days back. The only thing that attracted me was the ambience and nothing else. Hygiene food quality and staff everything was absent. Food was not upto the mark, few dishes from starter (chicken wings) was rotten. The food which is being served was different on what is written on the menu. The spellings on the menu card was miserable. Infact there was not a proper menu card also. Manager was absent minded while listening to the complain and left no response as a feedback. Staffs had no knowledge about what dish is being served by them.Overall rating 1/5

I went here for buffet. They have really great buffet deals. Ambiance and good quality is really good.

The ambience is quite nice and the service is also good with a warm welcome...but the food doesnt really meet with the expectation.

Ocean Grill, as the name suggests, is profoundly dedicated to bring the best of seafood to your plate. Here one person will definitely get the best of every seafood available to your plates.Located in front of the RDB Cinemas in Sector 5, Ocean Grill is a very huge and a recognizable name. I went there a few days back with a few of my friends and we were treated to with amazing hospitality and grace along with great food.Ocean Grill serves various cuisines such as Oriental, Asian, Continental and Indian. Along with a variety of food, Ocean Grill also has an open bar and they have an ongoing offer of 1:1 on drinks from 12pm-4pm.Ocean Grill has an eye-catching decor and the staff here is very courteous and polite. The best things which I liked here is how with utmost grace and dedication, they plate their dishes. Its really amazing. plating your dishes is also an art.Moon fan is a Mauritian delicacy with shitake and button mushrooms with bacon, veggies, chicken and egg. This was very yummy. It was paired with kung pao chicken which was also amazing. The chicken was soft and tender and every food served to us was hot. Who doesnt love biriyani right? I loved their biriyani and the way it smelled and tasted. The biriyani was made to perfection and we paired it chicken changezi. The main course was really delightful.To sum up, our visit to the ocean grill didnt prove fatal. we really ended up having a great time. I would definitely go back there mainly for the beautiful starters we had and their moon fan rice.Until next time.
