This is the local railway station named Dhakuria Station. It is the only railway station here. It is in the southern railway region of Sealdah Railway Station. From 4:00 AM the trains start to pass by this station. More or less punctuality is maintained compared to Indian Railways! Ticketting system is good. The staffs are helpful and Swaccha Bharat cleanliness drive is also performed here in a regular basis.

This is actually a railway station of South Kolkata. Not troublesome. Trains are available about every 10 minutes gap to Sealdah or Baruipur or Namkhana.

Located on a railway land without proper brands and variety. No good brands are available. Cold drinks are available without any quality and needs cleaning immediately. Seating arrangement not proper. It is not customer friendly.
