The behaviour of the staffs is very very bad. The maneger is a racist and prefers the marwari customers though this shop is famous for bengali sweets. Dont bother to listen the order properly , u have to repeat the order for several times. As a sweet lover i used visit this place regularly but highly disappointed with the staffs. I dont have any complain with the quality of sweets.

This place does not have even a fourth of the collection of KC Das Esplanade. I did not get any radhaballabhi or kachuri. Neither was there any rabri. The samosa was okay. The gur roshogolla was mediocre. The chocolate kadam and roshomalancha were decent. I absolutely disliked the mishti doi, it was quite tasteless and very dry.

The staff especially the manager misbehaved with us. We told him to give the kesari rasgolla of 25 rs. He gave us the one of higher price which is 44rs. Then he told us only ordered that. The price tags were not in place. He misbehaved with us. He was so rude and told us very bad things. When we asked him to show the CCTV video he denied.

Kc das is one of the most famous confectionery and sweets shop in kolkata known for its authentic Bengali sweets.I personally being from Jaipur have been eating all sorts of sweets since childhood. I tried most of their authentic Bengali sweets like sondesh in 3 flavours, chumchum, ras malai. But it couldnt satisfy my sweet tooth. But considering their rossogulla which i found best tasting, i bought few packs to take.for my friends and family.Final review: their sweets must be authentic but Bengali sweets couldnt satisfy my rajasthani tongue.

Krishna Chandra Das, more commonly referred to as K.C. Das, was a Bengali confectioner, entrepreneur, businessman and Bengali of the early 20th century. Born in the year 1869 in Bagbazar, Kolkata, Krishna Chandra was the only son and successor of the Bengali confectioner and sweetmeat inventor Nobin Chandra Das.

I have multiple negative experiences from this place. The sugar-free items are mostly old. I had once purchased a sandesh and got a dead mosquito inside. I had gifted a pack of sweets to a friend and came to know it was stale. My friend had bought a samosa from here and found a worm (not a fly, a worm) inside. On complaining, the staff dont respond. Poor quality. I highly recommend not to eat here. If you want sweets or food, visit Haldiram which is at a minute distance from KC Das. You also have, Dominos, Wow momo, subway at a couple of minutes distance. Just dont risk your health by eating here.

Very rude and Arrogant staff behavior.. I felt totally disappointed. We know the brand K.C Das for a long time by a generation. Kindly look into this matter, otherwise those staff will ruin its brand value. Surely Im not indicating all staffs.
