1. They are expensive literally.2. The quality and quantity is not up to the mark.3. Certain dishes misses out on the delicacy.4. The waiters dont suggest or advice you regarding either dishes or quantity or anything. You have to ask them every single things about those which is not appreciated.

I have had biryani in several branches of Aminia and this is the first time in Golpark. Mutton biryani was good as always but the quality of phirni/firni seems to have gone down. The galauti kebabs were quite soft and was accompanied by slightly sweetened roti this heightening the taste. The green chutney was quite salty. A lot of renovation is going on & hence the seating area on 1st floor is accessible only by lift.

I went to Aminia last time when corona wasnt there! I loved the taste and quantity of the food! Aminia never failed to satisfy me 🌻 I would love to recommend Aminia.

This is one of the best places to eat in South Kolkata if youre a fan of Mughlai cuisine and Indian food. The quality of each dish is remarkable as well as the quantity provided. The service is good and atmosphere is really ambient. The kebabs deserve a special mention along with the delicious biryani.

Anytime is Biriyani time.As a Bengali first and last favourite dish of mine is Biriyani. I tried their chicken biriyani, butter naan chicken handi & fhirni. The taste of biriyani as well as.The chicken piece was tender and quite juicy. The chicken handi has rich and delicious also the naan was too good. Lastly my favourite desert Fhirni.The fhirni has sweet and creamy texture which makes a perfect end of meal.The food quality and quantity both are very satisfying and reasonable.Service was quick and staffs were very much helpful & friendly.They have taken all kinds proper safety measures which was needed. Aminia is famous for its biryani be it dum, chicken or mutton. A big place almost full capacity and everybody munching on biryani using their hands.The ambience was nice, a silent place, the perfect place for having good food in terms of quality, quantity along price.Waiters were very cooperative and very polite behaviour.The menu which we tried there:Special chicken biryani - 8.5 out of 10, Waiters serving piping hot biryani & flavours are well balanced. The chicken was soft & juicy. Smells very good. You can feel the blend of spices they used.Tandoori Naan with chicken handi is the perfect combination. Naan was very soft and the size was good. Chicken handi was rich. Good food as per expectations. - 9 out of 10.Firni is excellent sweetish saltish with a perfect combination. Very good food. 9.5 out of 10.

Aminia is one of my favorite places to have biryani and Kebabs.In this situation we all are ordering in.Aminia follows the best hygiene measures to ensure the safe delivery of food to your doorstep!We ordered Special Chicken biryani , chicken Handi, butter nun and Firni.A great hygiene was maintained.Special Chicken biryani had 2 aloo and w scrumptious pieces of chicken. I loved the firni it was so smooth and delicious.

Excellent food and service at a reasonable cost. The biriyani is served piping hot (remains hot throughout the meal). No service charge. Kabab and Naan also great. Very clean and comfortable with good AC. Parking on the opposite side of road.

This place is well decorated and their food quality is really amazing. Customer service was also good. We had ordered chicken Reshmi kabab, chicken tikka butter masala, paneer butter masala, peas pulao and firni. All items were delicious and well cooked. This place is actually famous for their biryani.The ambiance is good. This is not a fancy place. But you can go for a comfortable lunch or dinner with your friends and family.

Few days back I visited this joint with my friends.I noticed they are following a strict hygiene routine.Temperature check of customers were done at the entrance and visitors wearing proper mask were only allowed. Physical distancing of 6 ft is also maintained inside the restaurant. The interiors were properly cleaned with disinfectants.Since we went in a group we had to book a table before visiting. Also we availed biodegradable cutlery , crockery and sanitizer sachet at just rupees 20 extra. The menu and the payment bill were all provided digitally to prevent physical contact.Now coming to the food I loved the Mutton Biryani , along which I tried the Mutton Handi which was a new dish for me and it was very tasty. I suggest you to try both of this.I also loved the Chicken Tikka Kebabs and the Chicken Reshmi Kebabs. Raita and Pudina Chutney was served along with it !At the end I had Firni which was another amazing item.I overall had a great experience. The food was very good and also the safety measures were properly followed.

Aminia Golpark, is a busy place to dine in. Ambience is beautifully decorated with lights. Proper necessary protocols of COVD-19 are being followed. They served one of the best Biryanis in town. Quantity and quality of Biryani is not compromised. Besides this we had chicken tikka which was very delicious. In dessert we had Firni which was also tasty. They also have a take away counter in the ground floor.

Tender chunk of mutton with soft alu and aromatic biriyani rice. And the best part was that, it was not greasy at all. We paired it with a rich and spicy mutton gravy, Tawa mutton.After gulping all these down along with some fresh lime soda, we were already full. But ofcouse we coudnt miss out on the desserts. Food is good...but, the menu says MINERAL WATER@ 35/- PER GLASS but they put the bottle on table.I guess nowadays most of the restaurants charge as per MRP.(aerated water/packaged drinking water)When asked the service persons they didnt have a proper answer,if its company policy then all should be uniformed.Overall no match to AMINIA RESTAURANT ( NEWARKET)

Tried the mutton biryani and lahori chicken ! ❤️😋1) Mutton Biryani - ₹270 - quantity probided is more than enough for one person. The mutton piece was very well cooked. The aloo too was very soft and had a very distinct flavour. 😊❤️2) Lahori Chicken - ₹230 - quantity is really less according to me. They only provide you with four small pieces of chicken. Taste is only not up to the mark! 😞🙃

It falls short on your expectations if you have visited this place earlier and regularly like me. If this is because of WuhanVirus then I am sure its a temporary issue. This is a landmark restaurant that specialized in Awadhi cuisine and that was missing in totality last time. Although the staff was very professional and courteous the food was a big let down.One travels a distance to a place looking for something different and when you realize the food served is available everywhere then, you loose the plot!Those infatuated with Biryani and used to eating anything that even closely resembles it, will surely disagree.

This restaurant is located at Golpark just 5 minute walking distance from Gariahat crossing. The restaurant is a 2 storey building having lift facilities. The ground floor is earmarked for waiting. 1st & 2nd floor for dining. there is also lift facility but would prefer the nicely decorated staircase passage and the walls with photo frames.Ordered the following items:--Starters-1) Chicken tikka Kebab-2) Chicken Mail kebab-Both the plates contained 6 pieces of succulent chicken kebabs which are soft and juicy. It was served with green chutney and onion.-Main Coarse-Mutton Biryani Special- containing 2 pieces mutton , aloo and 1 egg. Nothing to specially mention about the taste as we all know that aminia the taste and quality is just awesome. The mutton pieces were decent and soft and so was the aloo and the rice are tin and fine and quantity more than sufficient for 2 people.Chicken chaap- the chicken chap contained 1 big piece of chicken (with bone). Taste was very good and really goes the best with biryani.-Desserts-Had phirni in desserts. the phirni was cols and tight and served in their traditional earthen bati.

Aminia introduced new family meal which consists of Chicken Biryani, chicken chap and phirni. Their biryani is my favourite as they use long grain flavour rice with juicy potato and tender chicken. The biryani was moist and super light. The chicken chap is was best in town.

One of my favourite place since my childhood days, Aminia has come up with their new outlet at Golpark. This 90 years old restaurant is a hidden gem and holds a beautiful place in my heart. This restaurant is well known for their 90 years old recipe of mutton pasinda, galouti kebab and aminia special mutton curry. These are highly recommended and worth a try. Excepting these their mutton biryani and chicken chaap is my personal favourite. Do try their chicken reshmi kebab, chicken biryani, mutton chaap and chicken rezala as well. Gonna love every bit of it. We ended our meal with their season speciality gajar ka halwa which is truely a bliss.The ambience is pretty decent and the service of the staff is really nice and courteous.

Firstly big congratulations to Aminia for being a true food destination for last 90 years in Kolkata.The Pasinda kabab has always been a winner and so has the biryani, but I would also strongly recommend the Khada masla ka gosht as it is to die for.The kebabs and firni is also really good.

A few days back I visited Aminia,Golpark with my friends.It is just located near the Golpark crossing and is quite spacious with comfortable seating.For starters we tried Chicken Reshmi kebab and Mutton Pasinda kebeb(both tastes amazing and highly recommended),i personally loved Mutton Pasinda).For main course we took both chicken and Mutton biryani which requires no introduction,has an authentic taste and one of the best in Kolkata.Along with Biryani we had Chicken and Mutton Chap.We also shared Tandoori Roti with Aminia Special Mutton Curry(it is my favourite,such a light dish with a homely touch and highly recommend it).As it is winter,for desserts they have introduced Gajar ka Halwa (a must try,though we were full,we couldnt resist from having a full bowl each)

It was always early to say, The Best for a food/restaurant. But you can use better in as many cases as you want! The Aminia is one of the names I would lik to add, now in my list of restaurants. We visited this place twice in last 3 days and the food was simply good and what makes our dinner better was their hosting, on top.

It is very small but the appearance is good . There dishes are actually delicious.

A large Mutton Leg piece with Mutton kosha and Chicken Rezala is all we want. Aminia is serving this ultimate Menu at Golpark Aminia.Extremely juicy mutton pieces with succulent kebabs are a bliss. Reshmi kebab tasted amazing. Bring your family and have a gala Dinner at Aminia Golpark.

As the festive mood is on all the restuarant are opened and we are excited to visit them during this festive season and we bengali have a special feelings for Biriyani and when the name of biriyani comes , the only restuarant that comes in our mind is Amminia . Few days ago we visited Amminia at Golpark Branch and the restaurant has re opened from 8 th June . The following are the safety precautions taken by the restuarant1) Temperature checks of the customers are being done at the entrance followed by proper sanitization.2) All the customer visiting Amminia must wear masks orelse the customers will not be allowed .3) The physical distancing of 6 ft. is being maintained in the queue .4) The tables are arranged at 6 ft. distance to maintain social distance which is necessary during this pandemic.5) They have also included the option to avail the biodegradable crockery , cutlery and Sanitizer sachet only by paying Rs. 206) The staff and the all attendant inside the Ammina were wearing mask and taking best protection while serving .The foods were really tasty and it was a heavenly feeling to have Biriyani and after such a long time . The item i tried were1. Chicken Tikka Kebab- Rs. 2752. Chicken Reshmi Kebab - Rs. 2753. Mutton Awadh Biryani- Rs. 3804. Chicken Chap - Rs. 2055. Firni- Rs. 70

Tandoori chicken was totally raw from inside. From outside it looked tasty but when we took a bite the flesh was totally raw inside. That destroyed our appetite. Biryani was ok and tikka butter masala was also average. Not upto the mark. Behala branch serves far better quality food. Didnt expect such a huge difference in taste and quality. But the manager was polite enough and he changed the tandoori chicken and got us another one.

Yesterday I went to Aminia after a long gap of 1 year. I had ordered for one plate of Mutton Biriyani and one Chicken Khada. The biryani was good but nothing extraordinary which it used to have been, and it could have been hotter when served, the potato was well boiled and the most important element, the piece of mutton was fairly big and perfectly cooked, the mutton is what I liked the most in the biryani. Then along with it I had Chicken Khada as a curry side dish, believe me it was wonderful, except that the gravy contained whole spices which when went into my mouth made me feel uncomfortable, but that shouldnt be an issue and much to my surprise the masalas were so very into the two pieces of chicken that at some point it provoked me to believe that chicken can taste better than mutton if it had been marinated well before being cooked.

I had walked into this branch of Aminia the other day with a bunch of office colleague. And must I say, the lunch rocked.We were 12 in number and each ordered a biryani of their own. I ordered myself a nice plate of their Aminia Mutton Biryani. The meat on the mutton was falling off the bone and honestly it couldnt get better.We had also ordered in some Chicken Reshmi Kebab, Mutton Pasinda Kebab, Chicken Chaamp, Mutton Chaamp, Aminia Special Mutton Curry, Chicken Rezala and some Tandoori Roti along. Yes youre reading it right it was a complete feast.In the end I had some lovely, hot gajar ka halwa and that fixed my entire meal time. Had a great afternoon and hoping to be back soon. The branches never disappoint!

Visited a week back, 1st and 2nd floor under renovation, AC is too chilling will let your biriyani run cold in very short time, and do never take the Firni.

Aminia became worst ever... today I took one special biryani from their take away, and instead of egg I told them to give one extra potato which they also included in the bill, but rather than giving extra potato they even didnt give the one single potato , or any egg, they just gave small size chicken and thats it, and the biryani is filled with lots of oil and tasteless.....but whatever happened today I didnt expect such worst delivery from a reputed one.....

Aminia has always been one of my favourite places to visit for biryani carvings in KolkataThe place serves good varieties of Kebabs , and Biryani, last week I visited this Golpark outlet.Some of the dishes that we liked the most and would recommend are as follows:1.Reshmi kebab2. Mutton pasinda (A must try at this place, this was one of the best Kebab that I have ever had in Armenia)3.Chicken Biryani4.Chicken Chaap5.Special Mutton Curry6.Mutton biriyani7. Mutton chaap8. Gajar ka halwa ( I personally loved this).Definitely worth visiting each time.

Location of Golpark Aminia Restaurant is just back side of Golpark crossing itself. Ambience is classy and wooden decorations are the perfect match with wall paint color. Lift facility is there. Ground floor is dedicated for waiting lobby and 1st,2nd floor are for sitting arrangements. Staffs are well behaved but a bit slow. Food quality is good, as per the standard maintained in Aminia outlets.

Quality of food has been detoriated compared with the price.

Theyve come up with a new delicacy, which is the Galauti Kebab, it comes with 2pcs of Paranthas, Salad and Green Chutney. Tastes amazing and is affordably priced too.
