Not bad place. Good rooms. Good personnel. But unreal hight price for mini bar! No price list - they took 30$ for little can of Red Bull plus little can of sprite (330ml). Also they count potato chips which I did not touch.As for my honest opinion it is cheating and not fair.The food is not bad.Guys, u have a good place and good hotel with good room’s quality. Please hold on your cheating intensions and you become very good 4+ stars

Hotel Aura is located on S.N.Banerjee Road of Central Kolkata region. It is located at Janbazar area. It is well known through road and it is also accessible through Metro railway service as Esplanade Metro railway station is not far away from here.

The rooms are spacious and very well equipped, great beds, bathroom has many amenities. I got an upgrade to a deluxe room which was very kind. They offer 20% discounts and there is a 3 course Indian meal at an affordable rate. The breakfast was great with lots of varieties in Indian and continental food, fresh fruits, various curt, the waiters came to ask each time if they could serve you, It was a pleasant to stay there. It is one of the best hotel in Kolkata. The hotel was well decorated.

Hotel is located near New Market Police Station, corner of four roads. Customer Desk Attendent Ms Neha & Ms Priya is very cooperative, gave us warm Welcome.Mr Milon knows how to satisfy customers. We had good breakfast, Lunnch & Dinner at The Esplanade restaurant at GF.Rooms are clean and comfortable. I recommend all to choose this one.

Had an awesome experience at Aura....very cooperative staff and the rooms are quite decent. The location is at the heart of the city and most of the tourist attractions are on the periphery.... We enjoyed the breakfast as they served traditional LUCHI vaji along with Upma fir peeps from Southern parts of India.... Location is good, near to Kolkata Newmarket. staffs were helpful. room is average. bed sheet and blanket was not clean. I did ask to provide clean bed sheet but next one was also not clean. Breakfast need to be improved.

I had guests staying here and so my experience is limited to location and front office ambience. Location is wonderful with regard to being present in he heart of town with all kinds of transport available. On the slip side, the location is crowded too. Front Office- Polite, courteous and helpful. On the flipside, the direct booking discount was eagerly offered and vouched as the best offer but online portals offered a much better deal and that is what I took to book my guests.That did not feel good.

I had the amazing experience of being the first customer at this fabulous new restaurant. The cuisine was delicious, decor modern fusion of wood, marble, bricks and exposed pipes. The service very attentive to detail and a great dining experience, in particular Rakesh, front office manager and Priya. Very accomodating! I recommend to anyone!

During lockdown Im staying here now... I dont know normal time but now no good maintenance. An food not fresh. Food storing in fridge and just serving for long time.. not even making hot. But during lockdown I should not expect more than this🤔

Its situated in a very good place. Such a lovely 😍 hotel 🏨 it is. The overall exterior decoration is such beautiful. The staffs are very polite and decent. Their behavior is so much gentle. I found dust no where. Everything were clean. They are too much helpful. The room and the bathroom were such good. I really wondering to write more about the Hotel Aura. But Im getting stopped, cause they are lot. I would love to recommend this hotel 🏨 for all.

Washroom was pathetic you would never want a washroom like this... the seat cover always touching your back whenever you go to washroom.Light waa also not adequate it always feel dark in the room.Rooms are very small and conjusted and you feel suffocated inside the room.Location was very good very near to Bada Bazaar and Esplando.

This place is certainly crammed and not breathable. Located amidst a bustling bazaar area with shops & vendors, with people & more people - cars honking, crowd yelling, dirt, squalid poverty, etc. the sound-proof windows just does not help.And since I was on the 1st floor you had the employees talking to each other in loud voices. When I mentioned this, I was told that the  guests make all the noises as they come out of the rooms and speak in the corridors. Perhaps true, but I cant confirm this. in this locality.Rooms are very crammed with every bit of furniture thrown in so much so it feels very claustrophobic. The lighting inside the rooms appears to be one similar to a dark cave being lit. The miniature window provided (covered) opens out to some dirty surroundings so this is ruled out. Enter the bath and one sees a miniature sized wash-basin (literally the size of your palm) so much so the freebies given (shampoo, dental kit, moisturizer) have to be placed at the top of the window ledge above the toilet bowl.The towels provided are loose string towels and certainly overused one. The bed linen is certainly faded and overused too.The first thing that hits you as soon as you enter the ESPLANADE Restaurant is the putrefying smell. This place too is also badly lit. Food is palatable but takes a lot of time. I saw on two ocassions walk-in customers (there is a separate entrance from the road) who left as food preparation was delayed.The only saving grace is the Front Office Manager called Rakesh Mahato whom I found helpful and understanding.Not a good experience for a global traveller BUT not a nightmare too for those who can manage a cavern.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel.The service and food was excellent.Hotel staffs were very friendly and even helped me to arrange small but beautiful surprise for my girl.She was overwhelmed. The hotel has a special place in our memory lane now.we made happy memories and looking forward to another stay. Nice hotel compared to others in this city. Staff is friendly. They try to keep their rooms and building clean. This city is very dirty so this hotel is a nice place to be after walking around the city. The only thing I did not like was that not all of the items listed on me menu were not always available. I would suggest they re do their menu to add what items are available during what times. Another thing I would suggest is to have the person standing outside the hotel opening the door for people be provided a chair so that he can sit! It looks bad to make a guy stand outside all day opening doors! Im sure the owner of the hotel would not like standing all day it is not healthy!

Guys take my words!!! first we suppose to checkin at 12 pm but due to our flight time we reached there @10 pm .the guy who was on reception was not even aware that we booked the hotel he said the hotel is completeley booked ,some how my husband spoke to him and he give us the room after calling almost 10times to his Boss. As soon as we entered the room. Was really shocking for me the room was smelly the bed sheet was really really dirty ,The toilet was so smelly the towels was really dirtyWas the biggest nightmare .strongly suggest if you really like cleaniness plz do not go to this hotel you will waste your moneyOnly good thing was when we checking out MR Rakesh the manager was polite and humble to us.

The location is excellent as all the ameneties are available nearby.On business trip for last 6 month to Kolkata I have not changed the hotel. I prefer to stay at Hotel Aura. Its a good hotel, within a budget, in the heart of the city. Everything is nearby. Service is good, though hotel rooms are quite smaller, but its okay, you have a plenty of space to roam around.

Rooms are small and not properly maintained. Looks modern outside but the maintenance in room is poor especially bathroom.

Neat and clean hotel. Provided food is satisfactory but WiFi securuty system is horrible and complecated to used. Every entry you require log in and they have not any printed password to provide. You must have physical attandance from reception which is disgusting. I have ever found such a complicated net security system.

Perfect hotel in terms of location and food which your actually need while travelling. It is closest to all the must visit tourist spots in Kolkata. Hotel Staff, manager and restaurant staff are very polite and helpful. Overall good place to stay. I stayed twice in this hotel.

I enjoyed a lot to stayed in Hotel Aura, I loved the behaviour of all staff. Food is mouthwatering. Clean room . Overall from top to bottom everything is perfect and very nice .Our next visit in Kolkata will be staying only in Hotel Aura.

While searching for a hotel in central Kolkata at a reasonable price for my $NZ I came upon Hotel Aura. The reception and welcome by Rakesh was outstanding and of the highest standard. The quality of the room the new restaurant,the cleanliness the staff service was in every way friendly and not to be faulted.

Oh i just loved this hotel. Was there for just one day. The interiors were splendid. Starting from the bed till the bathroom everythng was great. The staff are also very professional. Highly recommended for all!

I had a bitter experience while checked in , the manager who receipt us at 6.05 pm. on 16th December2017 was asking money to me for providing us 5 rooms in 1st floor , while I refused to pay he told me that , if I dint pay then the rooms would be in different floors . Finally I payed him Rs.**/- . Among us one of our colleague had only PAN card as ID proof but the manager of the hotel refused to accept the same . While I argued him then he asked some money to manage the issue . Finally I could not control my self .. . Looking my seriousness he accepted the PAN card and we checked in there . I think the manager was much more cleverer ........
