Its a holy place on the bank of river Ganga & historical place of Bag bazar, Kolkata , Shree Shree Ma Sharada Devi was came here regularly for bathing into holy river Ganga.

Popularly known as Maaer Bari. A place where Maa Sarada used to stay. The temple of holy mother is on the first floor of the house. Every evening Sondhya Arati is offered here from 5.30 pm onwards. The house is located at a distance of 20 mins. walk from Shyambazar Metro Railway station and is on the banks of river Hooghly, very close to Maaer Ghat, Baghbazar. The road to Maaer Bari is very narrow and congested. Bhogs are also offered here.

This is a very holy place and is serene and very good for meditation.When we went there we saw khichadi prasad was being served to all without distinctions - even non devotees.

The place where Maa Saradamani used to live in her last few years of life. The immediate divinity always touches the mind of devotees by the blessings of holy Mother. The room of Swami Saradanandaji is a must visit place alongwith Mothers room at upstairs.

Immersion of idols take place here, especially Kali Idol after traditional pujas at Ramakrishna Math , Baghbazar is immersed here after fireworks dedicated to Sri Ma. A very serene place. Jai Ma.

A beautiful place for the lovers of nature. Mayer Ghat at Baghbzar offers one the two-directional view of the River Hooghly (Ganga), as its situated not far away from the point of divergence of Hooghly (from South towards South-West direction). Both Vivekananda Setu (Bally Bridge) and Howrah Bridge (Rabindra Setu) are visible from this location.
