Badu is a prosperous suburban area under the Barasat Sub-division.Barely 3 km away from the district headquarters,it feasts the eyes of a visitor with its sprawling ponds and orchards.The villages surrounding Badu are full of scenic beauty. Though much of their greenery has been blotted out to give way to buildings, Still these are far from being concrete jungle.Each year thousands of town people come to the picnic spots lying at different pockets of the area.They are refreshed by spending time in close proximity with nature.Different enclosed gardens with modern amenities and tasteful decoration offer ideal environment to one who has been long in city pent.Some of the noted picnic spots in this area.Best one of the Tuhin Garden City.

Its a nice place to visit, very close proximity with nature, lots of greenery around there and the people are kind hearted and helpful.

If you are thinking for a lazy Winter Sunday picnic then might be its your destination. Its vey much cost efficient picnic spot with proper ground and all amenities. Though we cant expect much from this place but its quite good.

Tuhin Garden City is a wonderful organization for having excellent picnic spots, food and other arrangements for Family, Friends and Corporate Day Outs. The polite and supportive staffs always take care about all the requirements seek for.We went for a Office Picnic and were satisfied from all the aspects.

Personally once i had visited there for our family picnic but it has changed now. Some of my friends visited there recently. So according to their review the place was sutiable for family picnic or picnic with friends. Well planned and clean green sapce available for picnic and for small outdoor sports activity. No water problem. They also have a small shiv temple inside the picnic zone with uninterrupted water supply.

Nice place for picnic. It is very large place. There is a beautiful lake inside the garden. The garden is beautifully decorated. Electricity and water supply available inside the garden. It is near by the Badu road just behind the petrol pump. There is no mobile network problem. Local market and bus stop is also nearby about 2-3 minutes walking distance. This place have four sided high boundary wall. Guard also provided there in the main gate. No out coming disturbances are found here.

This place is great for hanging out. I have been here a significant amount of times and there are really nice garden houses which offer services at reasonable prices and the place is really close to nature.

It is a nice picnic spot for upto approx 100 people. Has nice garden, proper kitchen area, nice clean toilets, also a proper secluded area for people who want to get intoxicated. Other members if the picnic wont even know if they wont go sniffing around. Overall it is a full package of a picnic spot, with a particular arear only for one group.

Bunch of greenery and good connectivity from Kolkata main city. Its only 8-9KM distance from Madhyamgram chowmatha via Badu road. Lots of Bagan bari are available with all facilities and in very cheap rates, maybe within Rs. 3000 - 4000 depending on the space. Just go and book those picnic spots in advance as per heads. Cooks are also available there to arrange and prepare all the foods as per order like breakfast, lunch, snacks etc. Full greenery tall trees, ponds, birds, zig-zag roads, farmhouses, very close to natural beauty.Visited one of the Bagan bari, its a very nice experience, also posting some snaps and video.
