Econest is located near the VIP road. It is long stretch of greeney with benches from Bangur to Laketown. There are many small business like tea stall, takeaways and foodstalls locayed in the patch. Great place to hang out.

The walk ways offer a safe mode of walking for the pedestrians.. the lake side view enhanced by the well spurned trees .. in the evening the fountain with myriad colours adds to the view... The over bridge is another treat to the eyes. A great initiative by the South DUM DUM MUNICIPALITY for the locals.

It is a Nice Place for kids to enjoy themselves. But the gaurd there does starts shouting if they play on grass. We had to fight with him to let our kids play peacefully

Good for evening walk

Very good place for a walk, to relax a bit, enjoy snacks and chat. Pavements should be better maintained. Thanks for the initiative to our ex commissioner, current commissioner and MLA. I think it will be back to its formal glory after the completion of the bridge work being conducted.

This is nice bridge over the pool of water across the eco nest .But even within 4 to 5 years of its built , the nice semi arch bridge has totally lost its beauty . Leds lights are no longer functioning properly , no security guard , no cleaning .It is highly recommended that as the bridge is almost open on both sides , any day any untoward incident may happen as the water level is too deep and in late even the place becomes completely desolate .

Its a quite nice place for a walk beside the cannel . There are plenty of seats on the eco nest, stretched from bangur avenue VIP to laketown VIP. Good place for a stroll with friends and special ones. Food stalls are available with sitting arrangements.

In the last couple of years the park has detoriated.It used to she very beautiful, I have shared some of the pics.But now due to less maintenance the garden doesnt look that attractive.To spend evening time on the benches of the park and enjoying the gentle breeze of air is still as exciting as always.

Two years ago when I first saw this area, it was such a beautiful place !!! A dump place was totally turned into a beautiful one... You can walk around the footpath... Benches are also there... Food stalls are also present... But now it was not So good as from the beginning one... You can find garbages here and there... This is the only fault of normal people... Please dont make this place a bad one... Thank you :-)

This residential area has been developed ecologically, but due to poor maintenance, the beauty is no longer present. A lot of development work has been carried out by erstwhile councillor. Attempts have been made to nurture nature.

This place is kind of tree house.. though the food quality specifically Chinese items are very oily& not so tasty but the place is very enjoyable..small place but if you love vintage things then youll love this place.. its good place for hangout

The Park is pretty good and well maintained. Its a good place to take a time off sometimes.

A great beautification effort from the Councillor of the area. The canal has been cleaned up and decked with concrete paved walkways all the way round until Lake Town. It also has many small food joints, benches and beautiful statues to take you around. There is a small bridge connecting both ends of the roads. Seriously, it has added some touch of glamour in Kolkata.

In last five to six years the parks in and around Calcutta have gone through magical transformation.This park is one such one.Lot of thought has gone behind the planning of this one.Sitting places in strategic places.One community sitting area.And a permanent pandal for different pujas.There is small water body.You can feed the fish.This in turn attracts kingfishers.So if you have time it can be an idyllic place to see nature in proper harmony

This has become a nice hangout spot for couples, senior citizens and kids alike. It is built around a small, clean waterbody (actually part of the Bagjola Canal). A water- fountain, a beautifully lit bridge , many foodstalls and several benches are there. It is usually quiet as night hours arrive.
