Nice place to visit during durga pujo

One of the best, well maintained and fully decorated park in my area.. I know this park from my childhood. I used to play with my friends in this parks always.. and made lots of memories..

I know this park from my childhood day when I used to play here with my friends. This is one of the most well maintained and decorated park in our locality. Now they also have a library which helps readers to get a cozy place in between the park with open air and greenery. This is mainly a childrens park, but adults also come here to walk.They also organize durga puja for around 100 years. But for last 10 years they have come with some innovative and beautiful themes like ghat of benaras, train, time machine, pagoda etc.To be in this park is a rare opportunity to me now but whenever I go there it makes me feel happy. Its a joy to me to see children playing around jhula, slip with friends take me back to my childhood days. ❤️

This year the theme was based on Varanasi on Ganges. The atmosphere gave the feeling of the place as bells were ringing. They also tried to make river ganga with boats on it. I also liked the idol it seems very cute.

Past few years they organize beautiful theme durga puja pandals this year 2019 pandal was so amazing it was based on banaras ganga ghat with ganga arati.

Jagat Mukherjee Park is on the Central Avenue. It has a Library just in front portion of the park. On the left side a childrens park which consists of 2 julas, 1 slip and enough space for childrens to play. On the back side now a pandal is being constructed foe forthcoming Durgapuja.

In 2018 these guys came up with a theme named Time Machine...This Durga puja pandal became famous since 2016, when they made a moving train...This park is located near Shyambazar Five point Xing...Earlier also they used to organize puja but it was a low key thing...but since the last two years just to bring in more crowd they have started coming up with theme...This time they made underwater world...Though the pandal was completely air-conditioned but due to the heavy crowd it was very stuffy inside....👎

Usually creates some magic every year with nice pandals but shot to fame from 2016 as they created an EMU local train along with Bongaon station as the puja pandal....it indeed created lots of hype which inturn had thrown the adjacent road traffic out of gear....
