Unhygienic. Dirty and rude servers. If you tell me to serve you hot sambhar they will say its hot only . A no during pandemic and even otherwise.
Food quality is good. Very fast service. Location is also very good. On for casual south Indian dining
Best place to have south Indian food if you are in Chandni Chowk area. Clean and Hygienic. Price of most items are reasonable.
Seetala Upidi is a South Indian restaurant where I have been eating since my childhood. My Dad would take me here on Sundays and now I take my son there. It is a no frills place where fresh South Indian food is served. It is one of the top 5 Madras based vegetarian restaurant in Kolkata. It has always delighted me.
A lovely homely atmosphere and food is good and reasonable. The staff there are friendly . Love the place
Good place to eat South Indian Food. The restaurant is small but clean. They serve good food here. Their filter coffee is a must have.
Whenever I go to Chandi Chowk for some work I do stop by to have some really good Dosas here. I have been coming to this place from a long time and it never disappoints me.The ambiance is way too basic like old and small canteen but the food is just too good so is the staff.
Nice south indian in mid of busiest Chandni Chawk. My favourite is masala dosa.
Quality of dosha , uttapam detoriated not upto the mark . Too much pricing compared to the quality.
Food quality not up to the mark...Too much oil in my food...Im not happy with thatBut value of money😜
Its authentic South Indian restaurant 😋Yummy food with reasonable rateMust try filter coffeeNo ac
A very good place for South Indian dishes. Situated in the middle of the office area it attract many office people for nice coffee and tasty food. The Rates are reasonable. The best thing is that it has got the same taste of the food. Nice place for tiffin
Old is gold.. Quality south Indian food.. Must try masala dosa & dahi vada
I just loved the place. Onion Rava Dosa is now my eat-at-Chandni list
One of the best south indian restaurant with veg disces always to keep balance your wallet, also the taste is really amazing...Staff are also very positive to handle their customers...
Every time I visit this place, Im hit with nostalgia. I remember having my first dosa here with my parents for ₹12-15. Today, a dosa costs ₹80, and its totally worth the price. ❤
Very nice place jot luxury ambiance but one can feel the heart of NORTH KOLKATA
The best South Indian food joint in kolkata. Authentic foods and the place is clean. Hygienic and all type of payments are accepted. Love the filter coffee and the paan.
Tasty, I love the Onion masala dosa.
Good one vit crispy dosas.
Great place for quick and tasty south Indian food - fast service and moderate rates. Coffee is good too
I ate here after almost a decade and it warmed my heart when the food tasted similar. Thanks Udipi.
Good quality....well manners...price reasonable
Cheap and best place for that price range. Limited menu. Food taste & quality is OK. Not a place to go with family. Lunch with colleagues once in a while
I love it ❤️... Its not like authentic south indian food but its really nice and satisfying.. space is a bit small and there is lacking of employees
Authentic south India dishes.. must try
Quality is deteriorating day by day n price is going up for no specific reason, absolutely no value for money, a roadside vendor would probably serve more better South Indian food
My longtime favorite, small yet busy Resturant, close to Esplanade and chandni.... Authentic South Indian dishes... No nonsense price...but the place is not suitable for groups of course
Taste has really gone down with price rising, even chutney and sambhar is not up to the mark.
A good South Indian restaurant
One of the oldest South Indian restaurants in busy Chandni market area. Rava dosa, fresh idly, vada, veg pulao are all the best. Dancing coffee is one of the major attractions here, a must try. Very pocket friendly also.
A perfect place to eat south Indian food. Perfectly delicious. This place has been here for a long time & with all other competition and restaurant in area this place still wins over the taste of all.Honestly the body tastiest Vada Ive had s with the think coconut chutney. OMG its just amazing 😍Once youve had the food here youll know the taste !!Also they serve amazing Dosa. Really crispy & tasty. Its a small place but attracts a lot of crowd. This is one of the best vegetarian South eating place in Calcutta. I am eating here since I was born.
One of the old time south India restaurant at office para. Prices r on the higher side.
Very good for south indian food and filter coffee I liked it
I grew up in kolkata and I am now in Hyderabad since last 13 years . When I was there in kolkata I would love to eat at this place really authicate south indian food with a unique flavour , it is not so expensive also , I remember that during the lunch hour specially between 1-2 ,you literally find a person standing next to you , waiting for this turn . I visit it regularly when I am there ..
A good place for office goers to have South Indian style lunch and snacks. Neat place.
Great food quality, suggest try.
Love their south Indian food
Its a very good place for South Indian dishes! You can find some other dishes too! Price is good!
Pure veg with South ka Tadka. Most fantabulous the taste of Lassi
Authentic south Indian dishes served.
Not bad price is fine but for south Indian break fast I would prefer An and.
Udipi is a Great place if you love South Indian snacks. The price is also reasonable and it is value for money. I would specially recommend Hot Idlis. The coffee is also great along with Murukku snacks. The location is very good at Chandni Chowk in Central Kolkata
Utapam was tasty, but not a clean place.
Authentic south indian food
The usual, popular fare - idli, vada, uttapam, dosa, rawa dosa - that comprises South Indian food outside South India.Good quality.Affordable prices.Affable crowd.
Vara oddly coffee too good to miss
Great place for having quick South Indiian cuisine. This place is compact and so the space is less. This place is best for its food and not fir its ambience. So if you want to have good South Indian Lunch and you have limited time like an office break. This is the best place for having soyth indian food at affordable rates
Experience the authentic south Indian food
Masala dosa is the the best thing and dahi vada

Very bad food. Horrible taste
This Restaurant is Pure Veg. Here you can have south Indian Food mainly. Restaurant is Non-Ac but Clean and Comfortable. Im Sharing my Taste for their food, I odered Idli and Dhosa, the taste of dhosa was average but Idli was totally waste of money. I again Repeat it was my experience, but some of my friend like their food.Staffs are well mannered and Helpful, Specially an Old man who feed us like am treat by mom at home. A ❤️ for that old man.

Best for snaking and very pocket friendly... These place serves almost half miter long paper dhosa in regular price.... N thats my favourite thing about this place...
A restaurant that makes you feel at home with delicious coffee and Top of the World South Indian Snacks.
Another childhood food outlet, the food is as delicious as it has been back in the 1990s. And the ambience too is the same. No change in taste at all.
Good shop
The restaurant is not upscale and it is non air conditioning.. Although the South food is is very tasty and nice... Budget wise it is very inexpensive compared to the the other South Indian Restaurants
Hmm
Simple and great for dosas
Tasty food at reasonable price
Good filter coffee and South Indian food in general
Dont expect any authentic south indian food here. Owner and stuff are north indian. I had vada, idli and dhosa. only idli was good, but didnt like tasteless vada and dhosa. price is also a bit higher comparing to other eateries near by.

One of my favourite eating place in the city, their idlis, dosas, and the sukha chutney are fabulous... superb!
