No! Im a typical Non Vegetarian. Still I need some change sometimes, hence I decided to visit this place for a new experience.Its very close to Quest Mall. Not really hard to find but hard to locate when you reach the building as there isnt any board to understand on the 1st floor.Ambiance as every other reviews says its decent giving traditional Rajasthani feel with walll arts. Sittings are comfortable and there is lots of space too.We were welcomed with cold coriander drink. I was bit shocked as I was expecting atleast buttermilk. The drink didnt tasted good but due to quench of summer I took quite a few glasses of it. Then finally settled down with their most ordered Rajdhani and Punjabi Thali.Rajdhani Thali (2/5) :----------------------------------------This thali experience started with dhokla and few other small starters. Starters werent very good neither it was very bad. Then coming to main dish different types of Chapati and Papad was served nothing was really special. Then coming to the main curries, all the curries were tasteless, bland and not worth trying at all. Even simple potato curry wasnt even worth tasting, forget about others.Only Dal Bati Churma tasted good in this thali. Previously I had tried Rajdhani platter at Rajdhani Thali Park Street but here it was not even half close to that.Punjabi Thali (3/5) :-------------------------------------------Pubjabi thali was somehow bearable. It was having relatively less items than Rajdhani thali. Starters were almost similar but curries were different and somehow tasty. Nan and Roti was there with ghee on it. This thali was okey but not really satisfying.In dessert both of the thali ended with custard with few pieces of crunchy fruits in it and Malpua. I was thinking about to recover what we paid from these desserts but, No luck! Dessert quality was not upto the mark to try another one.That said, Non vegetarians will face hard time having their thalis for Rs.400 on weekends here. You can get a lot more from somewhere else for that price in non veg as well as veg menu.Dont get me wrong. I love trying veg food as much as I love Non Veg. But somehow their quality of the food wasnt that impressive to hold a non vegetarian for long.

Awesome food at great price! Though menu mentions price as 250/- it has now been revised to 300Rs. Menu card hasnt been updated to show price increase. But you get all you can eat unlimited for 300! Even pav bhaju and vada pav can be got as unlimited meals for 150Rs.

The place is awesome and so is the food quality.3 special thalis are available namely Rajasthani, punjabi & gujrati thali.You can choose between them but if you love north indian food than punjabi thali is the best.The service is not so good but food quality is just too good.It is at a walking distance from quest mall.

Veg food is really good ... Liked the naan and roti with ghee and butter.. try the Punjabi veg thali... Ranges 310-320 INR per plate.. unlimited thali ..best for veg guys .. but not for the veg people who eat food without onion.

Food is decent and service is really good. Its value for money. Just that I could enjoy a lot of the dishes because of my lactose intolerance issue.

Quality of Guptas is very good without any doubt but do not go for thali offered as suruchi thali. Its not up to the mark. Go for regular food items offered by Guptas. I tried gujarati thali which was very average and does not match to standard of suruchi chain of thali restaurent. The sitting arrangement and interior is good. The service is slow.

If you like vegetarian dishes and want to try Rajasthani or Gujrati Thalis, may be its your destination. Not very expensive, yet they offer all-you-can eat dinner.

Its was a very bad experience the food was taseless and the rotis were burned and were as hard as wood the sabji were hard and frozen and starter which was manchurian was a heavy one

It was closed when I went there and the restaurant below it called suhad claimed they r suruchi and suhad combined when I asked for the menu they gave me suhad menu..Totally disappointed

This Suruchi is closed guys . Don’t get fooled. They have closed the operations. They will try to confuse it with Shudh which is at ground floor but the fact is that the two are different. Pity that they have not updated it here & we innocent get fooled .

Service was very poor ,,Even no body came to ask for 15/20 minutes then I have to ask them if any person is there to take order. Quality of food was is good but not served hot. Specially Dal. And vegetables,no person was there to bring other Roti or veg till we have to tell them to bring

I find it little difficult to get a pure vegetarian place in Kolkata and even then the quality is not that great. Suruchi offered the best quality food at a reasonable price. They had so much options ranging from Chinese, South Indian, Mumbai & Delhi street food and was really very delicious . There was a waiting time for the food but which is understandable that they at-least freshly prepare the food.

The restaurant is located near Quest Mall and it serves pure vegetarian food. It is one of the limited Pure Veg Restaurants in Kolkata for the Vegans. We had Punjabi and Rajasthani Thali during our two visits. The food quality is good with decent number of items in the thali. Previously the thali had unlimited servings but now they have made it limited. The cost of Gujrati thali is around Rs.200 and that of Rajasthani thali is around Rs.250.

What can I say, Suruchi offers the best Thali plates in India! Sampling the different cuisines from all of India into one plate along with stimulating all of your tastebuds! I first visited Suruchi in Feb 2015 and I was overly delighted when our tour group management booked us in last Sunday night - with being back in Delhi, Suruchi Thali Plates was all I could think of.Be sure to visit on an empty stomach as they will continue to fill your plate up as the night progresses!

My favourite all veg restaurant in Kolakta . Sunday breakfast (Rs 180/-All incl) is mind blowing. Situated opposite to quest mall, behind bata showroom. They offer Rajasthani, Punjabi and Gujrati cuisine too.

We had been there yesterday for bhaiya dooj celebration.......Already we had booked for 50 people,but the service we got is un expected.....we entered there at 7p.m and up to 9p.m.they havent served the food to all of us and then ask us to go to the another place because they dont had the management to serve.i had the worst experience in my life......And the behaviour of the staff or the owner is very bad.

A pure vegetarian restaurant located at Park Circus, Kolkata. Its located just opposite to Quest Mall.The restaurant is owned by famous Gupta Brothers and food we enjoyed was the Than system with three variety of thalis, viz. Punjabi Thali, Rajasthani Thali and Gujarati Thali.When we reached, the Gujarati Thali was not available.The food served is good and the Thali is cost effective as well around Rs. 300/- per Thali. All food was unlimited. And lastly you are served with some really delicious dessert.Overall, it was really nice visiting the place with family.A must visit with family restaurant those looking for delicious veg Thali which doesnt burn your pocket.

I absolutely loved my visit to Suruchi.The place is 2mins walk from the Quest Mall near Park Circus. The restaurant is on the first floor of shubh food court complex.At the entrance their is an vintage car and the entrance wooden gate and the decor with rajasthani paintings and dolls seemed very appealing.All the waiters wear a turban like traditional marwari men and are very courteous and attentive. The moment we entered the restaurant we were welcomed with chanch. Though there is an option of gujrati, rajasthani and Punjabi unlimited thali during lunch hours we opted for the rajasthani thali as we had heard about it. I liked most of the dishes that was served.I would like the specially mention the gatte ki sabji and makai ki roti with was soo good.I even liked the daal bati churma that was served.There was also dhokla..papad...chatni..and many more sabji.For dessert there was custard and halwa both of them were not too sweet and I loved it. I couldnt finish everything. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who looking for a great vegetarian restaurant.P.S.- The price of each thali has changed now and the menu card uploaded on zomato has not been updated.On a weekday two Rajasthani thali cost us around Rs700 inclusive of GST.

Service was very poor as compared to their restaurant in Delhi . I had ordered a Gujarati Thali and apart from Dhokla there was nothing Gujarati in the servings . It was more of Rajastthani . They did not accept payment by card and wanted only cash . Overall , poor value for the kind of money they charge .
