Very simple and easy menu. Courteous staff make the difference at this place. I love their music choice, the Blues they played the other day was really soothing to ears and felt heavens while having the dinner. Good for single too.

Good place but service is delayed..Old Nargis food was exceptionally good.This is best place for Chinese,but now they serve Indian food.The new ambiebce is good and attractive.Location is good and parking is not a problem.Also dont forget to have pan from nearby shop

Nice place to have Chinese Food in Salt Lake.What I have tried so far:••Starter••• Pepper Garlic Chicken: Really good and must try••Main Course••• Devil’s Chicken: Extremely spicy and hot 🌶🌶🌶. So, I would not recommend• Hot Garlic Chicken: Really good• Veg Fried Rice: Okay# The portions are sufficient.• Food: 3/5• Ambience: 2.5/5• Cost: 3.5/5• Hospitality: 3/5On a separate note, the menu card uses some unusual fonts and I found it very difficult to read. I would suggest the restaurant to change it to a more legible font next time.

The place has undergone a revamp since and all in all is quite an old pioneer restaurant in the salt lake area. This place has remained ageless. Started almost at the time when I started eating out with my friends till now. Enough of walking down the memory lane lets break the ice. I ordered for a pan fried chilly fish and a chicken wanton (fried) of which the pan fried chilli fish was really amazing but I won’t say the same about the wanton, as it was a little bit dry ! Its not that it shouldn’t be but it normally has more chicken than the one contained in that. I had a take away so can’t say much about the “in house” experience. But the staffs were really cordial. When asked they assisted me with the details of the dishes. Word to the management it is good, its not that its not, but it can be better.

This place has reopened in a brand new avatar! Everything about this place has changed. The interiors are new, food has changed. Its like going to fine dining at lesser prices. Definitely recommend the Chinese here

I have been there before and after renovation. The new nargis is all awesome. Food quality and taste superb. The ambience is too good.

The quality of the food is nice compared to the price. The dried chilli chicken and fried rice is really good and also the gravy chow. You can eat there if youre with your friends and wanna fill your stomach up without making a hole in your pocket.

The interior has been redecorated and its very nice... food is tasteful with good service. loved it!

Huge difference in quality what it was and what it is now. I personally feel the ambience has been worked on... but miss the old decor, service and feel. I miss Santu, mastermoshai and the whole team which is gone now. The food is now prepared now, is like any other restaurant missing the signature which Nargis had. Felt sad and bad dining last week.

After a decorative make-over this place provides a subtle ambience away from the bustling crowds. The food is also quite tasty on both fronts - Mughal and Chinese.Recommended dishes -1. Worst restaurent . Food quality was worst. I thought they are good in chinese dishes but worst preparation of veg chomin. Charged 160 but no vegetable only chow which was not properly cooked. Pulao and curry was also below average. I will never recommend anyone.

Food quality is not good. I ordered some chicken dish when it was served it was cold. When asked thay said it is fresh cooked. Can not be true. The rest room is bad and not clean at all.

Food was nice, but we have never been to such a restaurant before, who can keep you wait for one and half hour, just for a order of fried rice and chilly chicken. Actually they are so busy with zomato and swiggy deliveries that they pay really less attention to their sitting customers.
